Burn marks and Scars
Izuku followed the glowing pendulum he and Nezu made, it was a magical tool used to locate tears that lead into the Shadowfell. Nezu told him that if his father was still out there then he could send him a message through the gloom, Izuku touched the pocket where the enchanted letter was in. His heart was pounding; if this worked then he might be able to meet his dad.
"Why the hell are we tailing Deku?" Katsuki asked with a tone of false annoyance as he leaned against a wall pretending to not spy on Deku.
"We are not tailing him, we just happen to be in the same area as he is in." Denki corrected the ash blond trying to look like he was perusing the wares on display in the street market while keeping Izuku in line of sight.
"You know he isn't helpless, right? He can find his way around the city just fine."
"We just want to make sure he is okay, he seems really distracted; ever since he came back to the dorms from talking to Principal Nezu." Shouto made no effort to hide his staring at the green haired Tiefling.
"Maybe you shouldn't treat him like a little kid, let's head back to the dorms." Katsuki stood up and was about to walk away, until he felt like something was wrong. He looked back in time to see Deku be grabbed by someone and pulled into the alley.
"Deku!" Katsuki rushed towards the alley where his best friend was napped, Denki and Shouto followed him. As they drew near there was a flash of blue fire and a rush of heat that blew out of the alleyway. Katsuki fought through the oppressive heat to get to his friend; his heart dropped into his stomach when he saw a familiar looking villain, it was the guy with burns on his face and arms, he was leading Izuku through a warp gate.
Katsuki fire off an explosion to propel him forward but he missed them by a hair. "Dammit!! Half-n-half, call Aizawa and let him know what happened." Shouto took out his phone pressing the speed dial button for their homeroom teacher.

Izuku was sitting on one of the barstool, the man made out of purple fog had poured him a glass of water with a slice of lemon in it. He looked between the man who had saved him from the Paladins, and another man who looked only slightly better than a dessicated corpse argue very angrily with one another. Izuku just looked at his drink, he was still in shock at the fact that the Paladin's of Pelor had appeared here in this world, and that shock nearly got him killed if it was not for the man with the burn marks.
"So you just decided to bring him here? What the hell were you thinking?" Shigaraki hissed angrily at the blue flame villain who just shrugged his shoulders in such a devil may care attitude that it caused Shigaraki to stomp his feet in a tantrum.
"Oh come on Shigichan, he looks rather cute. Can we keep him?" Himiko fluttered her eyes at the Tiefling who looked down at his shoes with a blush.
"So kid, why you here?" Magne asked Izuku, ignoring the ever increasing shouting in the background.
"He saved me from the Paladins, then brought me here through a portal, not sure why. But I do owe him for saving me at the very least." Izuku discreetly cast Purify Food and Drink just to be safe, he might have come a long way when it came to trusting humans, but he was no fool. These people emitted an aura of danger, especially the fog man, he was watching Izuku with those luminous yellow eyes, like a hawk hunting a rabbit.
Dabi ignored Shigaraki's bitching walking up to Izuku. "So why were those weirdos trying to make you into a pin cushion?"
Izuku debated whether to tell them the truth, or just play ignorant; he went with the latter. "I don't know, they just grabbed me and then tried to hurt me."
Kurogiri made a noise that sounded like disbelief; causing Izuku's heart to beat harder, was the jig up so soon? Dabi seemed to not hear the fog villain, or was ignoring him. "What can you tell us about these guys?"
"I don't know anything. They just attacked me." Dabi gave Izuku a smile that held a sinister undertone.
"I heard you call them Paladins, so you do know something about them." Izuku gulped hard at the way that Dabi was looking at him, it scared him to his core; it reminded him of how one of the guards would look at him when he was held captive. "So you either can tell us everything you know, or-" Dabi trailed off with gesture of his hand.
"Or?" Izuku asked in a soft voice, he was sweating bullets.
"Or I can make you tell us everything, I can be very persuasive." Dabi whispered in Izuku's hear making the Tiefling shiver. Izuku steeled his resolve and continued to play ignorant.
"I really don't know anything, I swear." Dabi took Izuku's hand in his leading him to the backroom, the Tiefling's heart began to beat like crazy, he could try and escape but he wasn't sure if he could take them on, they seemed way stronger than him; Dabi lead Izuku into his room, it was rather Spartan in decor.
"You must be tired after all that excitement, why don't rest here. Maybe a goodnight rest will help you remember any details you might want to share with us." With that Dabi closed the door behind him.
----
"What do you mean we can't go out and look for Deku?!?!" Katsuki slammed his hands on the top of the desk, shooting daggers at his homeroom teacher who just returned Katsuki's glare with his own deadpan look.
"We have a team of heroes already looking for him, if the League of Villains is involved then we can't risk students facing them."
"We're all eighteen! Legally we are adults and can decide whether we put ourselves in danger or not!" Katsuki clenched his fist, the nails biting into his palms; he knew how terrifying the League is, he still had trouble with nightmares ever since they had kidnapped him and tried to win him over to their side during his First Year; and now they had Deku in their clutches, he didn't want to picture what horrors they could be subjecting his best friend to.
"You're all still students of U.A, your safety is our priority." Aizawa stood up from his desk laying an understanding hand on the ash blond's shoulder. "We will find him, and bring him back safe, just please; stay on campus for now."
Katsuki just walked out of the teacher's offices his hands still clenched, Yuuga calling after him.
"I'm guessing Bakugou-kun won't heed your request, you of all people should know that this would deeply affect Bakugou." Midnight had a frown of concern on her face.
"That is why I don't want him to join the search, he suffered at the hands of the League. This could affect him even more; I know he's been making nightmares still, and he keeps refusing to talk about it with the school therapist." Aizawa fixed some loose papers, he turned to his colleague who fixed a rather terrifying look on him.
"He's having nightmares, possibly PTSD; and you haven't gotten him into therapy!" Kayama stood up and began striding towards the door.
"Where are you going?"
"To get that boy some therapy, Aizawa you are a great mentor, but you need to be firmer with your students."
"He refused, I can't force him, that would do more harm than good."
"You know how Bakugou is, you have to be, not only firm but insistent; his pride would stop him from getting therapy. So right now he needs a good kick in the pants to get him heading in the right direction." Kayama left the teacher's lounge heading in the same direction as Bakugou.

Izuku looked around trying to find a way out of the room, he thought about using Cursebringer to slice his way out; but then the people in the other room would come in and stop him. He was broken out of his planning by the door opening and in walked in Dabi with a tray of food.
"I figured you would be hungry."
Izuku's stomach growled before he could say anything, he looked away with a blush on his face, Dabi gave Izuku a smile offering the food to him, the Tiefling eyed the sandwich with some suspicions. "It's not poisoned if that's what your worried about."
"I hate tomatoes." Izuku muttered causing Dabi to laugh, he sat on the bed patting it to get Izuku to sit as well, the Tiefling obliged and Dabi set the tray on Izuku's lap, taking the tomatoes out of the sandwich and eating them. "Eww." Izuku made a face causing Dabi to laugh once more. Izuku ate the sandwich, they sat in peaceful silence, but when Izuku finished Dabi turned to him.
"So, did you remember anything you can tell me about those guys, what did you call them, Paladins?"
Izuku fidgeted with his tail thinking of what he could say that wouldn't give away his origins. "I've...had a...previous encounter with them."
"Care to elaborate?" Dabi noticed the way the green haired male flinched and slouched into himself, and he felt something tinge in him. He knew what had happened without the other male saying anything. "They hurt you, didn't they."
Izuku drew his legs up and wrapped his arms around them, the horned male just gave the slightest nod.
"I know the feeling."
"WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW!!" Izuku yelled startling the burned man, Dabi stood up taking off his jacket throwing it on the chair by the desk; Izuku watched as the older male grabbed the hem of his shirt and stripped it off, any words he had died in his mouth as his eyes took in the damaged body before him.
"I would say I know plenty." Izuku stood up walking to the black haired male, tentatively he reached out but startled to withdraw his hand; Dabi took Izuku's hand in his and brought to the large burn scar along his upper torso. Dabi locked eyes with Izuku then he looked away, the look of sympathy made his stomach squirm, he was used to many looks, most of them of disgust or horror, or pity; but never one of sympathy.
"Who did to you?" Izuku could feel tears sting his eyes, he thought he had suffered but Dabi had, had it so much worse.
"You tell me your story, and I will tell you mine."
