Chapter 1

“Reggie! Come back!” Sirius shouts from the hallway as Regitha runs down the stairs. She trips and falls before she could reach the end, causing her to cry out in pain.

“Reggie? Oh baby, what happened?” Walburga cooed over Regitha’s crying body. Before Regitha could get a word out, Walburga looked up and noticed Sirius standing at the top of the staircase. He was terrified.

“Sirius! Did you push your sister down the stairs!?” She was screaming which only made Regitha cry more. Sirius didn’t know what to do or say. He slowly backed up and ran to his room. Downstairs, Regitha was getting babied.

“Don’t worry Reggie, your brother won’t be able to hurt you anymore. I’ll make sure of it.”

Ever since that day, anytime anything went wrong, it was always Sirius who would get blamed for it. It didn’t take long before Regitha started blaming Sirius too. It was something he saw every day from the moment he was four. Sirius never blamed her of course, he always made sure Regitha was okay and would willingly take the blame for things, even when Regitha tried to stop him.

Five years later, it was now going to be lonely at home. Sirius slowly started to grow away from Regitha as they got older and now it was official that Regitha and Sirius were no longer going to be as close as they were as children once Sirius started at Hogwarts.

“Regitha, dear, get the mail for me, will you?”

Regitha stood up from her seat and walked over to the mail. There were a few things left for them. One piece of mail stood out to Regitha the most though. There was a letter for her.

To Reggie
From Sirius

She didn’t know what to do with the mail. If her mother saw, surely it would be taken away, but if she didn’t tell her mother, she could get into trouble. Even with the thought of getting into trouble, Regitha kept the note. She shoved it in her clothes before walking back to the kitchen where her mother was cooking dinner. She placed the mail on the kitchen table and turned for the door.

“I’m going to go to my room. Call me down when dinner is ready.”

Regitha walked out of the kitchen and ran straight to the stairs, climbing them as fast as she could with a huge smile on her face. This is her first ever note from Sirius. Her first piece of mail ever.

To Reggie
From Sirius.

She couldn’t stop reading the names on the note. This was hers. No one else could take it from her. It was her name. She flipped the letter over and opened the mail. Inside was a piece of parchment. She took it out and unfolded it before reading over the letter.

Dear Reggie,
I miss you. I miss being home. Hogwarts is so big and lonely without my little sister. I know we didn’t leave on good terms, I wish I could make it up to you. I just wanted to give you a little update on everything here so far. I got sorted into Gryffindor house. Don’t tell mum. She would be furious. Other than that…life isn’t quite as bad as I would have thought. I met a few new people. I wouldn’t call them friends. I’ve told them about you. They are excited to meet you when you get here. I told them you were the smartest witch I’ve ever met! I want to keep in touch with you, Reggie. I want to be updated on your life. Please write back to me from now on, okay? I love you.
Love, Sirius.

A single tear rolled down Regitha’s cheek as she read the note over and over.
He wants to keep in touch with me, She thought as she read over his words. Nothing would prepare her for how much joy she was feeling. She immediately got set on writing to Sirius.

Dear Sirius,
I’m so happy you reached out to me! I miss you too. I hate how quiet it is at home. Kreacher isn’t getting much younger so I don’t have anyone to play with anymore, not that I need to play with anyone. I’m almost nine, I don’t need friends. Do you think if mum was to find out that you got into Gryffindor that she would be upset? What if I get sorted in there too? Mum always said Slytherin is our family legacy… At least you have friends though, in Gryffindor, and at least you’re able to talk to people. I miss your company when you were here, even if we didn’t talk as much. I can’t wait to meet your friends in two years when I go! I promise to update you with everything so you can tell them, as long as you promise to tell me about them as well! I’ll talk to you soon. I love you more.
Reggie.

Regitha looked over the letter and smiled. She put it in an envelope, addressed it to Sirius at Hogwarts and quietly took it to their owl at home. She handed the letter to the owl and watched as the owl took off into the night sky with the letter hanging from its beak.

It didn’t take much longer until there was a steady amount of letters being rushed in and out of the house. Regitha did her best to hide all of the notes. It worked until the one day her mother took her to Diagon Alley, Kreacher cleaned her room and found the notes.

“I can’t believe you would keep something so important from me! Regitha, you know better than that! And I have to find out from notes that are so old that my only son, the only heir to the Black name, is a Gryiffindor!”

“I’m sorry mum…”

“Go to your room. Enough of this funny business!”

Regitha hated how much she wanted to be good for her mum. She hated how everything she did had to be perfect since her older brother was the outcast of the family. When she went to her room, she looked everywhere for something that didn’t make her body feel weird inside. It’s been weeks since she started to feel sick by everything in her room. She hated how girly it was and how girly everything made her feel. At night, she would secretly sneak Sirius’s clothes and try them on, liking the way they fit her and hid her body. She loved not being in a dress for once in her life. She even kept a few of the clothes in her room. A few of his shirts.

She sat down and looked at the recent letters that came in from Sirius on the table the next morning. Regitha wanted to open them but knew better. She didn’t want to get into trouble again.

When Regitha’s parents walked into the room, her mum gave her a look. “You can open them, darling. Let me know anything important about them.”

They were weeks old but Regitha was dying to know what was in them. One of the letters looked a little puffed out, like something was inside of it. Regitha opened the first letter and read it over.

Dear Reggie,
One of my friends made the Quidditch team! James, the one I told you about. With glasses and curly hair like yours but shorter and brown. You should convince mum to bring you to one of our games! I want to see you. I’ll even sit with you in the stands! I’ve been studying other types of magic! I can’t wait to show you when I finally get the hang of it. I’m in a rush right now but I’ll talk to you later!
Love, Sirius.

Nothing was too notable about that one so I sighed and shook my head to my mum. “Nothing in this one. He’s just talking about his friend.”

I read the next one.

Dear Reggie,
I haven’t heard from you about my last letter. Did something happen? Are you maybe in trouble and can’t use owl posts? That would be a long stretch since you’re the golden child. Either way, I wanted to tell you that family day is in a few weeks! I heard mum found out I was in Gryffindor so maybe she’ll let you come if she goes to family day? I’ll introduce you to my friends.
Love, Sirius.

“It says he knows that you know what house he got sorted into…and family day. He wants to know if we can go.”

“I’ll think about it. He wants you to go?” She nods. “And do you want to go?” She nods again. “Okay, I’ll think about it. Was that the last letter?”

Regitha looked at the last letter on the table. She didn’t want to read it in front of them. She had sent him a letter about how she was feeling recently and didn’t want her parents to know. She looked at the mess of parchment in front of her. “Yeah, I think so.”

“Okay, you can go. I’ll call you down for dinner soon.”

Regitha smiles and takes all the parchment upstairs. She looks at the last letter and opens it, taking a deep breath before reading it.

Dear Reggie,
I think you might be transgender. I’m happy to hear from you, even if you couldn’t read the other letters. If you’re reading this, it’s okay to feel like that. I promise. If there is a less feminine name that you would like to be called, let me know. I’ll call you whatever you’d like. Alternatively, I’d like to know if you can make it to family night. I want you to meet my friends. They’re all dying to meet you. You can pack some of my old clothes. I’m sure they’ll fit you. You can always make them a little smaller if you need to. Please write back to me as soon as possible.
Love, Sirius.

Regitha didn’t know she was crying until the tears fell onto the parchment. She took out another piece before writing.

Dear Sirius,
I think mum might let me go! I’m thinking of a few names. I’ve been thinking for a while now. Maybe Reggie since it’s something I’ve always been called? Maybe mum could get around to using it. I was also thinking about Regulus. I like the sound of it. Regulus Black. I need to do something about my long hair though. Long hair was always your thing. I don’t know. If I shrink your clothes, would I be able to keep them?
Love, Reggie.

Regitha smiled at the note before looking at herself in the mirror. It was Sirius’ mirror before he left. Regulus Black. The youngest son of the Black family, the new heir to the Black name. Yeah, that’s me.

It took courage but Regitha was soon being called Regulus at home by not only his family but my Kreacher as well. They even let him go to family day, alone. So here he was, standing in front of Hogwarts with a bunch of other people’s families as they walked into the castle.

“Reggie! You’re here!”

Regulus turned and saw Sirius running at him. Regulus smiled softly as he hugged Sirius back. “Mum and dad couldn’t make it.”

“That’s okay. I really only wanted you here. Don’t tell them I said that.”

“Of course not.” Regulus smiled. Sirius noticed Regulus’ hair and frowned.

“Who cut your hair? It looks like they cut it blind.”

“I did…”

“Oh…I can help you. Don’t cut your hair by yourself. Come on, we can fix it later. Let’s go to my room so we can get you situated.”

Regulus followed Sirius as Sirius gave a tour of the castle on their way to the Gryffindor common room. The second the doors opened to the boys dormitory, there was a lot of shouting and cheering.

“Boys, settle down!” Sirius laughed as he let me inside. He grabbed Regulus’ bags and put them down next to a bed. “This is going to be your bed for the night. We asked to get another one in here since you weren’t coming with mum or dad.”

Regulus nods and then looks to everyone who is now quiet. He could easily tell who each of them were just by the descriptions that Sirius had given him in the letter.

“Right, so that’s-”

“James.”

“Yeah, and that’s-”

“Peter.

“And that is-”

“Remus.”

“You know their names…”

“You gave a descriptive idea of who they were in the letters…although you really only talked about James and his achievement.”

James smiled at that and looked at Remus with an I told you so look. Regulus noticed and giggled.

“Anyway, this is my brother. Regulus. Reggie for short.”

“I thought you had a sister named Reggie- Ow!” Peter got smacked across the head by James.

“He already told us about the Reggie situation dummy! Sorry about him.” James quickly apologized for Peter which made Regulus laugh again.

“It’s alright…It’s not his fault.”

James smiled at him and then the door burst open. A few girls walk into the room and smile. “Look what I have!”

“That is Lily Evans, James’ girlfriend and future wife. The blonde one is Marlene. The girl next to her is Alice. She’s dating Frank. Frank is actually the other roommate but he’s not here right now, probably with his family, and the other girl is Mary.”

“Oh. Okay…”

Regulus sat on his bed and realized how comfortable the comforters were. He laid flat on the bed, his legs half on the bed and half off, letting his feet hang off the side so he didn’t put his shoes on the bed.

“I can’t wait to show you around. James had a match today. We’re going to watch him play later against the Slytherin’s.”

“Those nasty buggers. They won’t know what hit them.” James laughed as he sat on his bed with Lily. They were eating some sweets. Regulus wanted to know what it was. He’s never seen sweets that looked like that. “Would you like some? You look curious.”

Regulus looked up at James. He shook his head and looked at Sirius who was sitting with Remus. They were whispering to each other and giggling. It made Regulus a little jealous that Remus was stealing all of Sirius’ attention. He hasn’t seen his brother in almost seven months and yet he hasn’t given Regulus the time of day.

“He looks like a cat. He wants attention.” Regulus heard that. That was the one thing he heard loud and clear from Sirius. He was upset that he would call him that.

“I’m not a cat.”

“I didn’t say you were a cat.” Sirius laughed softly. “I said you looked like one. It’s not a bad thing. How about we fix that hair of yours before we leave to go have lunch.”

Regulus looks at everyone and nods. Sirius smiled and had him wait until he came back. When he left, Regulus was just looked at by everyone. “So…Sirius has a little brother but they are polar opposites…that’s fun.” Mary spoke softly.

“He can hear you, Mary. Be nice. The kid looks like he’s four years old.”

“Lily.” James spoke. “Stop. He’s nine. Sirius told me- us he’s nine. His birthday is soon though. He’s almost ten.”

“You guys talk about him? That’s a little weird.”

“Lily. He’s my best friend's brother. He missed him, of course we talked about him.”

“I’m right here you know? I really don’t appreciate you both talking like I’m a stupid dog that can’t hear anything!”

“Whoa. Anger issues much?”

Before Regulus had the chance to say anything again, Sirius walked through the doors and sat on his bed. “Come sit here.”

Regulus walked over to him and sat on the ground, glaring at both Lily and James. James didn’t do much but he still upset Regulus just as much as Lily. “Your friends are complete dickheads.”

“Language Reggie. What makes you say that?”

Sirius brushed his hands through Regulus’ hair, cutting small pieces off as he went. Regulus watched as his hair fell onto his shoulders and the floor.

“I get it, you all are older by two years but you all talk as if I’m not here.”

Sirius hummed and ruffled Regulus’ hair before beginning to cut more hair off. “Who was talking about you?” Regulus looked at James and Lily. He didn’t have to talk for Sirius to know who it was. “I’m going to let you in on a secret.” Sirius smiles to himself before clearing his throat. “James doesn’t want anyone to know this but I’ve caught him kissing his pillow a few times.”

Regulus jerked and laughed. Luckily Sirius wasn’t cutting his hair or else a lot of his hair would be missing.

“Sirius, what the hell?” James groaned and threw his pillow over to Sirius.

Regulus smiled and looked over at James. There was a gentle blush that kissed James’ cheeks and Regulus couldn’t help but like the way he looked with the pink tint. Regulus didn’t realize he was staring until Sirius cleared his throat.

“Do you want to shower before we go? I can give you extra clothes if you didn’t bring any.”

“Oh uh, sure. I have clothes.”

Regulus stood up and grabbed his bag. Sirius pointed to the door to the bathroom, allowing Regulus to use whatever was already in the shower. He walked inside and turned the water on. He undressed and waited a few seconds before hopping into the shower. It was warm and left a trail of goosebumps down his back as the water trailed down.

“Reggie, are there towels in the bathroom?”

“I don’t think so?”

Sirius sighed and then there was talking from outside the door. Regulus couldn’t understand it but then the door opened to the bathroom and it closed. There was shuffling so Regulus looked from behind the shower curtain, only to be met by James.

“Oh uh… Sirius asked if you could borrow my towel…since his are currently being washed. Uhm, anyway, here’s the towel.” Regulus nods and takes the towel from behind the curtain. As he was about to walk away, he then turned and blushed before walking back over.

“Peter doesn’t like his stuff being used… I’d advise the green or red bottles. Those are mine and Sirius’. I don’t care if you use mine and Sirius is your brother, so I’m assuming it’s okay with him.”

Regulus laughed and nodded. “Thanks for the heads up. I’ll keep it in mind.

James smiled softly and motioned for the door. “I’m going to go now, before Lily thinks I’m up to something.”

“Okay.”

Regulus watched as James walked out of the bathroom before resuming his shower. He used the green bottles, assuming they were Sirius’. Once he finished his shower, he dried off and got changed into his clothes before walking out of the bathroom.

Regulus walked over to James and smiled, handing his towel back to him. “Thanks for letting me use your towel.”

“Of course. Anything for my friend's little brother.”

I smile and walk back to my bed. I get my shoes on and look at Sirius. “Are we ready for food? I’m hungry.”

“Right. Let’s go Moony.”

Remus smiled as he got off the bed and followed Sirius. They held hands as we walked to the lunch area. Regulus didn’t think anything of it at first, He just walked with them, happy to be around Sirius. Even if that meant being around his friends.

When they sat down, it was like a free for all. Everyone started grabbing food with their hands. Something Regulus wasn’t accustomed to. He usually never touched food with his hands. It was always with some sort of utensil.

“Oh yeah, Reggie, just grab what you want. Don’t worry about being messy. It’s okay.”

“Are you sure… I don’t want to ruin my clothes.”

James looked at Regulus from across the table and smiled. He then looked at the food and then leaned over to Sirius. They whispered something Regulus couldn’t hear. He wanted to know what they were saying but didn’t bother asking, knowing Lily or James would make some snarky comment about him being in everyone’s business.

While Regulus looked at the table, trying to find something to grab the food with, he didn’t notice James grabbing the food for him and putting it on a plate before placing it in front of him, only then did he realize as a deep red blush crossed his face. It was noticeable. Painly noticeable as Regulus was a lighter skin tone than everyone at the table since he didn’t get out much. Sirius and Regulus were the same pale skin tone before Sirius left for school, now he has a yellow undertone to his skin, probably from being outside a lot.

“He’s blushing. How cute.”

“Leave him alone guys.” Sirius sighed and leaned against Remus.

Regulus watched as Remus fed Sirius some pieces of his food. Before he could even stop himself, he blurted out, “Are you two dating or something?” before instantly regretting it and looking down.

“Oh shit.” James laughed.

Regulus was embarrassed. He didn’t mean to say that as loudly as he did. When he looked back up again, there was a noticeable blush on both of their faces. That’s also when Regulus noticed Remus’ face and arms.

“You have a lot of scars..”

“Oh uh, yeah. I have a lot of issues I’m dealing with.” Remus says awkwardly as he looks at Sirius who looked back at him apologetically.

“I know I shouldn’t push but I just want answers…are you two dating?”

“Yes”

“No.”

They both looked at each other before speaking again.

“No.”

“Yes.”

They both looked confused now. So was Regulus.

“So, we’re dating but not really… We haven’t made it official. We’ve been talking though. Getting to know each other more. I didn’t know that counted as us dating.” Sirius questioned.

“I thought we were? You’ve always said that you liked being around me. You said you liked me.”

“Yeah, I like you. We haven’t kissed or anything like that yet. I wasn’t really expecting us to be dating. I was just taking it slow.”

“How slow are you trying to take this?”

Regulus instantly felt bad and tried to hide his face in his hands. He sighed before standing up and clearing his throat, catching the two boys’ attention.

“I’m going to go look around the castle. If you don’t hear from me by tonight, come find me. I’m probably lost.”

“But the match is going to start soon.” James spoke, standing up and looked down at Regulus from across the table. The only thing going in his mind was how short Regulus was and how cute he seemed.

“Right…I’ll manage. I’ll just follow the crowd.”

Regulus walked away and went looking for something to do or something to look at. He didn’t really wander far before bumping into someone with long black hair.

“I’m sorry. I was just looking-”

“No, it’s okay…you look familiar… Are you a student here?”

“No. I’m actually visiting my older brother. Sirius Black?”

“Oh. Him.”

“You don’t sound so pleased.” I laugh softly.

“His friends aren’t the nicest. That James guy really likes to shove his title in peoples faces. Never really got along with that lot.”

“Nice to know…hey, are you going to the Quidditch match today? My brother wants me to watch but it’s getting kind of boring staying with them. Thinking about ditching unless you’re going.”

“Professor Slughorn is making it a requirement that all of Slytherin have to go.”

“Professor Slughorn?”

“He’s the potions teacher and the head of Slytherin. If you’re a Black, you really have to learn who the head of your house will be. I never got your name. I’m Severus.”

“Regulus.”

He smiled as we shook hands. I then felt someone bump into me. I realized it was a kid not much younger than me.

“Hi! My name’s Jr. Sorry for bumping into you. Do you go here?”

“Oh, no. I’m Regulus. I’m going to be coming here in two years.”

“OH cool! I’m coming in three years.”

Regulus smiles and then sees two other kids walking over. One of them was a girl and the other a boy, they seemed to be the same age but they also were older than him.

“Hey, we don’t know our way around this place yet. Do you know where the quidditch field is?” the girl asks with her brother standing and staring at Jr.

“Oh yeah, we were just about to go.” Severus smiled.

“Care if we join you? My name’s Pandora. This oaf that’s staring at your friend is Evan.” Evan seemed to have snapped out of whatever trance he was in when he heard his name.

“What?” He questioned.

“I was just introducing you to them since you were too busy making love eyes to a kid you don’t know.”

“Oh…oh! Sorry. I didn’t realize I zoned out.” There was a light pink on his cheeks. It was hard to tell but definitely noticeable. Regulus smiled.

“We don’t mind at all. I’m Regulus. That’s Jr…although we don’t know exactly what the Jr is for?”

Jr turned and smiled. “Barty Jr. Barty Crouch Jr.”

“And I’m Severus.”

“Isn’t your dad some official for the Ministry?” Regulus whispers to Barty. Barty just hummed and nods.

“Yeah. It’s okay though.” Regulus noticed that Barty was also staring at the two new people in the group. “He’s very attractive. I want to be like him one day.”

“What?” Regulus laughed.

“I want to be like him one day…his hair is white. Do you think he dyed it? I want to dye my hair.”

“Aren’t you like…eight?”

“Yeah.”

“Don’t worry about how you look right now. Don’t try to be mature.” Regulus smiled. “I learned the hard way. You don’t want to focus on that or you’ll miss the fun that happens around you.”

Barty laughs and then notices Severus looking a little uncomfortable. “The game is going to start soon. We should head out.”

“Right! Lead the way!” Regulus says with a little more energy and excitement than a few minutes ago.

Severus walked as the rest of the group followed behind. Everyone got to know each other a little more and it was once we got to the stands when they started to separate. Regulus stayed with Severus while the other three went their separate ways.

“Gryffindor’s seeker, James Potter!” Everyone was screaming except for Severus. He seemed to have a lot of hatred in his eyes.

“So what exactly did James do?”

“He bullied me. All of them do. Your brother included but your brother isn’t really a problem, it's just empty words more of the time. It’s James that acts and uses his wand to cast spells to mess with me. It’s crazy that he isn’t a Slytherin with the way he acts.”

Regulus hummed and sighed. “I hope I get sorted into Slytherin. I would love to be your friend, be able to talk to you and everything.”

Severus smiled at that. “At least one of the Black’s aren’t going to be totally brainwashed.”

Regulus giggled and looked out into the sky. He couldn’t help but feel free at the moment. He loved the way everything seemed to be perfect together as they flew around, trying to make sure their own players weren’t getting hurt on the way.

“She’s perfect. Lily. I love that she cheers on James but he doesn’t realize it until he’s off the broom. She gets mad at him…I miss her. She was always my best friend…”

“What happened?”

Regulus already knew what happened. It was because James. If it weren’t there probably wouldn’t be an issue between the two but Regulus let Severus speak.

“They started dating. Lily was still my friend but James hated how much time she spent with me. Started bullying me and then one day, we grew apart. We tried to stay close but James was ruining it. It was really bad… I said some nasty things to her… I regret it deeply.”

“What did you say?” Regulus didn’t mean to press but Severus didn’t seem to mind and willingly told him.

“I called her a Mudblood. She’s a muggle-born. I knew that. She got a lot of bullying from her sister for it…and I just stood there, in front of everyone at school and called her a mudblood.”

“Oh…My mum calls everyone mudbloods if they aren’t purebloods…I never knew that it was a bad thing.”

“Yeah, you won’t get away with saying that around here. Slytherins are known to be very uptight so they won’t care if you say it around them, they most likely will be happy you said it. Say it around any other house and you’ll be on the hate list for all of your time here.”

Regulus hummed and then everyone on the Slytherin side cheered.

“Slytherin caught the golden snitch! They’ve won the game!”

Regulus couldn’t help but feel happy. He cheered and smiled with Severus. While they walked back into the castle, someone pushed Severus onto the group.

“Move out of the way Snape. Leave him alone.” James spat as he pointed his wand to Severus.

Regulus pushed James back and got in front of Severus, blocking him from James’ wand. “Stop! Leave him alone!”

James looked confused and then glared at Severus. “What did you say to him? You got your weird little ideas in his head?”

Regulus glared at James. Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all walked up to James. “What’s going on here?”

James still had his wand pointed at Regulus while he blocked Severus. Sirius grabbed James’ arm and pulled his hand down, making him lower his wand.

“What the hell dude, that’s my brother!”

“He’s already siding with the enemy, Black. You can’t seriously expect me-”

“He’s making friends, James. You need to stop with this rivalry between you two. He hasn’t done anything.” Lily spoke while hugging James’ side.

Barty, Evan, and Pandora walked over to everyone and then realized what was going on. They quickly helped Severus up and then blocked him with their bodies too. Regulus was sure they all looked stupid. A bunch of kids blocking someone older than them. All of them are different heights and skinny.

“No way, Regulus already found a group of his own. A bunch of lowlives.” James laughed. Sirius looked at him shocked.

“What is wrong with you…that’s my brother you arse!” Sirius walked over to Regulud and put his hand out. “Let’s go. You can bring your friends but let’s just get out of here. I don’t want to start a scene.”

Regulus took his hand and looked at everyone. They all grabbed each other's hands before Sirius took them inside. Remus followed along and smiled at Regulus. He lightly pushed his shoulder against his side.

“You have a good brother. He loves you a lot.”

Regulus smiled and looked up at Sirius. “I know.”

Sirius dragged everyone to the Library. “Slytherins aren’t allowed in the Gryffindor common room so we’re going to hang out here.”

Severus sneered. “But they allowed Regulus in there?”

“He’s not a Slytherin.” Sirius shot back.

“Not yet.”

“How are you so sure that he’s going to be a Slytherin? He could be anything else-”

“Hey, calm down.” Remus spoke while rubbing Sirius’ shoulders. “Let’s not cause any problems for people.”

Sirius sighed and glazed at Regulus. “You know I’ll still love you, even if you were a Slytherin, right? I wouldn’t let anyone bother you.”

Regulus smiled. He wasn’t sure if it was empty promises or if they actually meant something but Regulus was happy to hear them anyway. “Yeah, I know.”

All of the younger boys played games with each other, getting to know each other more as Pandora read a book and talked to Severus. It was like Remus and Sirius were babysitting younger kids. Sirius was happy though. He wasn’t complaining. He was just glad to see his younger brother acting like a kid and not an adult. He never got to see this and he was happy.
