The Beginning!
a hand came flying toward him, swift and streamlined with the wind. The noirette caught it, fluidly yanking it downward and slipping his arm around the nape of the brunettes neck, effectively pulling him down into a steady headlock.
"and we stop there-" Rin said, smiling approvingly. "Awase wins, again,"
Tsuburaba deflated visibly, whining in protest. "I tried, Awase is just good at this." He massaged his arm socket, pressing about to make sure his friend hadn't pulled anything. Hiryuu rubbed his back, smiling all the same. "U.A students will be better than him, none of us are great at hand to hand combat, so that's why we're doing this, right? Anyway- me and 'Setsu will fight next, try pick up some techniques, will ya?" Tsuburaba nodded, straightening up and patting Awase's back.
"Have fun getting pulverized-" he teased, the normal shit-eating grin on his face.
Kendou smiled at Yui, inviting the ravenette to use her quirk. A junkyard was an interesting training spot, but beneficial for all 3 of the girls there. The redhead watched the blunt metal scrap enlarge and gravitate towards her. She expanded her hand, crushing it in her palm.
"How's that, you two?" Itsuka called, receiving two nods from the silent pair. She smiled. "Let's go again then."
"so, you got in through recommendations?" The black skinned male glanced at his friend, eyebrow quirked slightly. A slight blush sprouted on the skeletal looking boy's face, running a hand through his ash blonde hair. "I haven't gotten in yet- I still need to do an entrance exam like you guys, just differently." He smiled, eyes on his hands. The three boys sat on the picnic cloth, lazing about after a bit of training. Kaibara was sprawled across Honenuki's lap, and Honenuki was leaning against Kuroiro's shoulder.
Sen blinked. "D'you know what you're gonna do?" His tone was his usual stoicism, eyes narrowed in curiosity. Juzo noticed his finger was drilling idly, getting close to the edge of the blanket and toward the grass.
"oi- leave the worms alone!-" The blonde boy retracked the brunettes hand to his chest, eyeing a grasshopper that flaunted about nearby.
"you don't know- or forgot, or forgot that you forgot, didn't you?" Shihai mused, looking Honenuki in the face.
"No I didn't,"
"Yes you did."
"Yes I did."
Kuroiro rolled his eyes playfully, throwing his head backward. "Your mind is a void, things go in and don't come out, never to be found again."
Monoma sighed, pushing himself away from the table. "You don't think the written exam will be this hard- will it?" Komori snorted gently, watching Fukidashi and Tsunotori deflate slightly.
"It's not helping that our top student has such a short attention span." Kinoko said chidingly, flipping a page of the recommended textbook idly. "Help me at least, Manga and Pony are terrible at this." An exclamation mark showed on the speech bubble, followed by a small ':('. Pony only subdued further, closing her eyes slowly.
"5 minute break, we'll get back to this later."
Shiozaki sat quietly in the sun, eyes closed as she relished the warmth it brought to her face. Her vine like hair lounged in a bowl of water by her window, a few adorning plants pushed aside to make way for it. She already had a fairly good hang on her quirk, so the least she could do was strengthen their affect with good care. A small meow sounded from the door, followed by a bit of scuffling, and a slim black feline entered through the door.
It leapt onto her lap, and she tugged her hand through the thick fur, sighing audibly.
"Well? Do you think I'll get in?" Usagi looked at her through half lidded amber eyes, closing them and giving a light purr. Shiozaki wasn't really ever an animal person, but Usagi seemed different.
"We'll trust God, I guess."
The steel skinned male punched the bag, watching his skin go back to flesh. would I melt under heat? he thought idly to himself, padding off and turning off the rooms light.
mamae and hana were laying out the dinner table, dancing about the kitchen with napkins and plates. They were chatting quietly while doing so, smiling to themselves. Hana shot him the biggest smile, waving even with her hands full. He smiled back, only as Hiroyuki started wailing, and he turned around walking toward the nursery with a little skip.
Kamakiri was, unusual looking, to say the least. He had pale green skin and the face of a mantis — but it was ok in his neighborhood, if you had a cool quirk everyone would be fine. If you were quirkless or had a nonflashy or useless seeming quirk you were looked down on, or passive aggressive behaviors were displayed toward you.
The insect like male's quirk was razor sharp - he could make blades protrude from his body. He thought it was freaky looking. He turned around, waving to goodbye to Nirengeki and Kojirou after the walk of comfortable silence. The white haired boy smiled as he walked past, and so did Bondo, and he watched them walk until they turned the corner and you could no longer see them.
Setsuna flung her finger at Shishida, effectively distracting him from his reading. "Shishida-nii, I'm bored." She could hear the male huff, and she ended up flinging herself into his lap, purring in a lizard-like manner. She'd always thought of herself as a lizard, with her quirk being Lizard Tail Splitter after all. Shishida nudged her off, sighing distantly. "Don't you have a practical to study for?"
he wasn't wrong. U.A entrance exams were dawning quick for our future heroes.
