Chapter 10
"Kelly, I need to tell you something." Alex started.
"What is it, Alex?" Kelly could see that her girlfriend was worried.
"It's about Kara." She looked at the floor.
Kelly instantly worried about her friend. Surely the worried look on Alex's face meant that Kara was injured or something. "Is she okay?"
"Yeah, it's nothing like that. It's...She's Supergirl."
Kelly sighed with relief. "I know, Alex."
"You do? How?" She questioned.
"She's not great at lying." Kelly chuckled.
Alex smiled. "She really isn't, is she?" They both laughed. "You know, she's better at lying than she used to be. She once told Lena that she flew there on a bus."
"Wow, really?"
"Yep. I'm still surprised she never figured it out on her own."
"But she knows now?" Kelly asked.
"Now she does. Kara told her at the Pulitzer party, but Lex told her before she did." Alex explained. Then she answered any questions that Kelly had about Kara being Supergirl.
Lena was sat at her desk in L-Corp when her phone rang. "Sam, how are you?" It had been a while since she'd talked to Sam, and was thankful that she had called.
"Hey, Lena. I'm good." Sam and Lena talked for a while, and then Lena talked to Ruby for a few minutes before Sam returned. "I think we're going to move back to National City."
"Really?" Lena said in shock. She thought that they were happy where they were.
"Yes. Ruby misses the friends she had, and I miss you and everyone else." Sam explained.
"I miss you too. So does everyone else. And L-Corp would be happy to have you back."
"Thank you, Lena."
"No problem. Do you need any help with organising your move back?" Lena would help in any way she could.
"Not at the moment, but I'll let you know if I do. We'll see you in a few weeks then." Lena smiled at the thought of seeing her friend again.
"Yes. Bye Sam."
"Bye, Lena."
