Chapter 7
Lena was early. She knew that, but she wanted to talk to Kara quickly before everyone else got there. However, Alex and Kelly were already there.
"Lena is here." Kara announced to Alex and Kelly. She ran to open the door before Lena had the chance to knock. "Lena."
"Kara, did you use your x-ray vision?" Lena questioned.
"No." She said as Lena walked in. "Just my superhearing." Kara looked at the floor in embarrassment.
Lena chuckled. "Can we talk before everyone gets hear?" She said before she saw Alex and Kelly looking at them. "You know what, don't worry." She said hello to Alex and Kelly.
"Lena, if you want to talk then we can go outside." Kara suggested, taking Lena by the hand, leading her through the front door and closing it behind them.
"Do they know about what I told you yesterday?" She motioned to Kara's apartment, to where Alex and Kelly were.
"I had to tell Alex about what happened to Lex because they found his body yesterday." Lena sighed with relief. "I didn't tell her anything else though. I know that it's your decision to tell people that and I didn't want to make it for you." Kara watched as Lena played with her hands.
"Okay, thank you. I might wait to tell them. I'm not sure that I'm ready just yet." She looked up at Kara as she said this.
Kara hugged Lena and whispered to her. "They'll accept you." Lena smiled and led them back inside.
