Denki/Reader - Electric Love
You walked into your apartment building after a long day, your muscles aching and your limbs heavy. You got onto the elevator, leaning against the wall in exhaustion. You eyes closed and you relaxed until you heard the bell ding, signifying you had arrived at your floor. You got out and made your way to your apartment, smiling when you heard music filtering through the door. This meant two things: your fiancee was home, and your neighbors were most likely pissed off. You opened the door walked to the living room, your heart swelling with love and happiness as you saw your fiancee turned away from you, mimicking an air guitar and belting the lyrics. He turned around and saw you, a wide grin overtaking his face. Denki ran over to you and look your hand, twirling you before dipping you and pressing a quick kiss to your cheek. His face was flushed, his eyes were bright, and a few strands of yellow hair fell out of the small ponytail he had his hair up in. His smile was infectious, and his actions made you blush and giggle like you were back in high school.
"Baby, you're like lightnin' in a bottle! I can't let you go now that I got it!" he sang to you, dancing with you. You laughed and danced along with him, the exhaustion in your body momentarily forgotten. You swayed your hips to the beat, laughing harder when he whistled and winked at you. And all I need is to be struck," you sang back. Neither of you made it to the climax of the chorus because he wrapped you up in his arms, pulling you into a passionate kiss. When you pulled away, you just smiled at each other before resuming your dancing and occasional kisses. Once the song had finished, you both collapsed onto the couch, Denki pulling you into his arms. You snuggled back into his chest, inhaling his scent. He smelled like lavender, clean laundry, and batteries, which you had gotten used to. He smelled like home. "I missed you," you murmured, looking up at him. He smiled at you, the love in his eyes so pure and overwhelming and just for you. "I missed you too," he said, kissing the top of your head. You yawned and closed your eyes, humming in contentedness. "I have to make dinner," you said softly. He tightened his arms around you, kissing your face all over and making you giggle and scrunch your nose. "I already ordered some of your favorite food from that one restaurant you like. Take a quick nap my love," Denki said, his arms around your waist. "I love you so much," you said. He smiled and looked down at the engagement ring on your finger. You were his, and soon you were going to be his spouse. "I love you with all of my heart. Y/N," he said, kissing you one last time before you fell asleep in his arms.
