I forgot to ask
It was senior year and prom was coming up. In all honesty, Nat wasn't really that interested in it. She talked with her best friend Bucky about it for a little bit but that was it.
Natasha was scrolling on her phone when she received a text from Bucky.

What color should I wear to prom?
Um Idk??
James
Well, I want us to match. So what color is your prom dress?
Natasha stared down at her phone. Really confused, she didn't remember James asking her to prom.
Hey since when are we
going to prom?
James
Shit, I forgot to ask you.
James
Can we meet in a few minutes?
Yes
In ten minutes Bucky pulled up on his motorcycle. "Hey, Tasha."
"So I'm going to do this properly. Natasha, will you go to prom with me?" Natasha jumped up and hugged him.
"Of course."
Then Natasha pauses. "I'm wearing a black dress." Bucky smiled. Before he leaned down and gave her a quick kiss.
Saw this post. Decided to go with one of the few straight ships I like.
