Dead Love
The team was mourning the loss of Steve. They didn't know what went wrong. The mission was simple and it should have happened. But the hydra agent managed to shoot him through the heart. It was worse than they had all lost Bucky. After him being on the team for 5 years. They all had grown close. Like an actual family.
Now each member was taking it their way. Natasha and Sam were having the hardest time.
Clint tried to cheer them up with little success. They were all hitting and it was horrible.
When the day finally came he was buried in the ground. Natasha and Sam went into his room. Only to find his compass. They were shocked because Steve always had it with him.
When they opened it they saw the picture of Peggy. Natasha turned it so Sam could get a better look but it fell out. Confused, they picked it up. Natasha was about to put it back in. Only they were caught off when it showed another picture. One of Bucky in his military uniform in the '40s. It had little hearts drawn around him.
With her nail, Natasha picked it out. On the back, it said 'Love You, Buck'
They both gasped out. The next day they went to the cemetery. They made a small hole in the dirt. Placing it where his heart is.
"I know Steve. You can be with James now." Natasha gave a sad smile before they left.
