Worth Falling For
Natasha hated the day she fell. She was in heaven when Lucifer and others rebelled against God. She never knew why she fell. One minute she was sitting on a cloud the next her wings faded to black and she was cast down. It felt like she was being ripped apart inside out. She ended up blacking out in pain.
When she woke up in the sulfur bath her heart turned to stone. She resented anything good. She hated that she had fallen. That she didn't get an explanation on why she fell. Sure she had her doubts sometimes. But how would that make her fall?
Natasha remembers the time she spent curled on the ground in pain as she became the vile creature she is now, a demon.
But nothing had prepared her for that day. The day she met the angel. She thought the angel was there to spite her or send her back to the pits, but she didn't. Only sent a smile and a small wave her way.
Over time they would crash into each other. They would somehow be on an assignment near each other. Eventually, they started to talk and interact with each other.
Slowly Natasha's cold heart wasn't there. She had fallen in love with an angel. Then the angel fell in love with a demon. Their forbidden love was destined for a disaster. But it didn't stop them.
Natasha made the first move and kissed Wanda in the garden. From then on they would happen to be in the same place. With the excuse of stopping the other. But they wouldn't. They would go out to eat watch a movie and visit new places.
Wanda loved Natasha's tail. Natasha loved Wanda's wings. She remembers hers. Once glowing white with purity. Now black and burned from when she fell.
"Do you regret that you fell, Love?" Wanda turned and looked at Natasha. Natasha stood silent in shock. Clearly, it took her by surprise.
"I used to. I used to hate that I fell and I never knew why." Natasha turned and grabbed Wanda's hand.
"But if I hadn't I never would have fallen in love with you."
But they both knew, in the end, their love would be the cause of their deaths. But for now, they let their love take them all over the world. They wouldn't let it get in the way of loving each other.
