Duckling
"But Baaaaaaabe! It's so cute!"
Blake rolled her eyes and fought against the smile toying at the corners of her mouth,
"Yang, Love...we cannot take in another animal right now."
Their house was currently already being overrun by a plethora of animals, cats, dogs, birds and a turtle or two.
Blake twisted around in her seat on the couch, looking over her shoulder. She tilted her head to the side and bit her bottom lip, swallowing the snort creeping up the back of her throat.
Yang was pouting. Her girlfriend was standing in the middle of their kitchen, coffee mug halfway to her lips, lilac eyes locked onto the small duckling sitting at her feet, Yang was full on pouting.
It was in that moment that Blake knew she was done. She tossed her head back and groaned in defeat,
"Ugh, fine! But you are not allowed to name it...having a dog named Fish is bad enough."
Her cat hears flicked behind her at the sound of feet softly padding across the floor, the scent of Yang's dark roast coffee filling her nose. Seconds later Blake felt strong arms wrap around her shoulders and soft lips gently pressing against her cheek,
"Thanks Baby."
