Guess who's under arrest?

As I went to catch Damian I replayed the most recent events in my head. All I can think about is Damian plunging his hand into his dad's chest and stomach. The claws on Damian's hands made of solid darkness. As he lifted his father into the air throwing him a short distance. Before he could continue I hear a snap, I look back at Damian and see a tranquilizer dart sticking out of him. However I guess I should backtrack and tell you how I met this colorful stranger that shot my best friend. So as Damian did his shadow magic mess (we really need a name for that) to break into his own house I was left alone at the park. After a few minutes of waiting I got concerned that he had gotten caught but before I could start to show signs of worry I was grabbed. "Don't scream and don't attract attention." I was about to act before I saw that under their cloak that they were armed, me not being a complete idiot decided to not attack the mysterious armed person. "I work for G.A.T.S. and we are tracking one of the biggest power spikes in history." I uncovered my mouth before saying "My ability is shape-shifting so if your tracking me then your out of luck." I say with a heavy dose of sarcasm. "As much as I would love to say that you are the chosen one no, I am tracking a surge of concentrated dark matter." the stranger says. I instantly think about Damian and how out of nowhere his powers finally awakened later than everyone in all of our previous schools. "I know who your looking for but why should I trust you?" I ask wary of the stranger. The stranger speaks saying "You can trust me because I was once in the same boat as your friend once." I instantly feel my stomach drop. I never said Damian was my friend, meaning that this person had been watching us. As I slowly start to shift my weight they speak again "I was watching you on my bosses orders but it kept you safe during your little mall visit, G.A.T.S. isn't the only one after you friend. Another organization has been abducting powered teens and turning them into soldiers. I thwarted an attempted on you two's lives all I ask is that you give me a little trust and I will make sure that nothing bad happens to you." As they conclude I mentally debate weather trusting a stranger is a good thing or not. However my time to contemplate got cut short due to my resident idiot falling from the sky.
Which leads to the present of me yanking a dart out of my friend. As I look around I see no sign of the stranger as I hear sirens blaring in the distance. I try to wake Damian to no avail as I hear the sirens get louder. I reach for my phone and call my dad. I instantly get sent to voice mail, I leave a message telling him that I might be in trouble and if he doesn't see me when he gets home to come by the police station to pick me up. As I hang up the phone I hear yelling telling me to get on the ground. As I comply I hear more sirens approaching. As I am handcuffed I see Damian and his father being placed on a separate gurneys and hauled off in two ambulances. As I am placed in the back of the car I look out the window and see a brief glimpse of a cloaked figure before it vanishes.
