Summary
*on hiatus*In many universes, Midoriya Izuku is only seen as the second coming of All Might. In this Universe, Izuku has grown tired of all the Villan attacks and has something of a wake-up call after the Stain incident in Hosu. Deciding they have been focusing on all the wrong things and taking Gran's advice to heart. They have stopped focusing on being like All Might and have instead focused on how to be a good hero, and help their friends. This unfortunately has the side effect of both scaring and impressing his teachers, gaining his classmate's admiration, and attracting unwanted attention from the League of Villians. Also it makes them a bit of a sassy little shit.
Note
Yo, I have another story with three chapters that are already written, and working on a fourth. I'm going to post the first two now and the second two after I clean this up. Also, this will be my first time writing a genderfluid character so hopefully, I don't mess anything up. After I finish writing/editing the other two chapters for this I'm going to continue working on my other stories. hopefully, soon I can finish some of my current ones. Also, I do not own My hero academia.

An Overdue Reunion

“In other news, there have been multiple files popping up on the internet which Indi—“ Dabi smirked as he listened to the news broadcast on how current hero rankings were a lie. He’d heard it before, but man, he just could not get over how amazing it was. He even read the files and couldn’t feel more ecstatic. Looks like the kid was delivering on their promise to make his sperm donors life hell.

“Dammit, why cant that rouge be on our side.” Shigaraki cursed as he watched how the kid was tearing down hero society in a completely legal way.

“Probably because they’re too much of a hero and don’t want to be a villain,” Dabi drawled while Spinner nodded in agreement.

“Indeed, it seems like Deku is a true hero like Stain said.”

“Ohhh, now I wanna see them covered in blood even more. Them and Ochako.” Toga whined in awe.

Dabi attempted to ignore them as his phone went off. It was a message from Hawks asking to meet up. While Dabi knew Hawks was a spy, it was better to throw the man a bone every now and then, or the heroes would send someone else to spy. Someone they might not be able to spot.

“I’m going out.” Dabi stayed as he placed his mask on his face.

“Going to see your boyfriend? Fuck off, asshat. Be safe. Or die,” Twice called back.

“Have fun~” Magne taunted.

Dabi flipped them off as he made his way through the safe house. At least the shadow king had made arrangements so Tomura would be able to make a decent start on his own.

He still couldn’t believe just how quickly that green bean had turned society on its head. Before he knows it, Endickwad may actually be thrown in jail.

“Hey there Hotstuff,” Hawks chirped from behind Dabi on the roof, causing him to throw a fireball in surprise.

“What the hell Hawks, I could’ve killed you,” Dabi growled as he clutched at his racing heart.

“But you didn’t,” he chirped again

“Are you...chirping?” Dabi asked. He couldn’t remember the last time he heard Keigo’s chirps. The commission had pretty much beat them out of him.

“Yep, why you don’t like it?” Keigo pouted, yes, pouted.

“I didn’t say that birdbrain. Why’d you want to meet up?” Dabi asked, rolling his eyes.

“To pass on a message but also,” Hawks strolled up to Dabi, smirk firmly in place as he balled up Dabi’s shirt and yanked him forward so his lips could meet his. Dabi froze in shock for a solid few seconds before he was grabbing the back of Keigo's head and returning the kiss fervently. If they didn’t need to breathe, they probably would have continued kissing like that for hours. Alas, they did and soon broke apart.

“What—“ Dabi panted pupils blown wide “the hell was that”

“Come on Dabi, you didn’t really think the little Eyas wouldn’t tell me who you were when she found our training videos,” Hawks asked, referring to when they had a relationship while in the commission. Though for Hawks, it was much more than a relationship he had imprinted on Dabi as his mate. Probably why it hurt so much when they told him he was dead. Fucking liars.

“Green bean…told you I was Touya,” Dabi asked, still dazed from the kiss.

“Considering we share the same instincts, yeah.” Hawks shrugged, catching Dabi’s attention with that last statement.

“Wait, what? I thought the kid had superstrength, not a hawk mutation like you.”

“Yeah, turns out the kid’s quirk is actually a copy quirk. They can copy any quirk that interacts with them. However, they start with the most basic form of the quirk. I saved them a few years back. They had my quirk, and I was asked to train them. It’s thanks to them I’m finally going to be free from the commission.” Hawks fluttered his wings in excitement.

“Why are you telling me this? And what do instincts have to do with them revealing my identity,” Dabi asked in confusion.

“They said I could. I’m not sure why. I think it’s cause they trust you. As for the instincts, you do know Hawks mate for life, right?” Hawks asked Dabi while looking at the ground nervously.

“But we never—”

“Doesn’t matter. My instincts see you as mine, and well, I don’t want anyone else.” Keigo muttered, twitching his wings nervously when his chin was lifted to meet Dabi’s eyes.

“You sure you want all this—” Dabi gestured to his scars, “—I’m not exactly the most pleasant thing to look at.”

Hawks rose his hand and rubbed Dabi’s scarred cheek with his thumb. The sensation felt weird, almost pleasant; Dabi wanted to lean into his touch. “I think they make you look beautiful,” Keigo pecked at his cheek. “Strong,” He picked the corner of his mouth, “and downright sexy,” He finished before claiming Dabi’s lips with his own once more. Dabi groaned in pleasure; Keigo always did have a way with words, and dammit if he didn’t miss this.

“Not that I don’t enjoy this, but where do we go from here?” Dabi asked. They were still on different sides.

“Hm, right, the kid said there was going to be a family day at U.A. next Thursday if you want to come.” Hawks answered as he began to cuddle into Dabi, who held the hero closer. It had been a few years, could you blame him?

“Family day? Oh! Oh shit! They actually managed to get an arrest warrant for Endeavor?” Dabi exclaimed in excitement.

“Mhm, they also said their mother would be willing to take on your case. With all the evidence that’s come up about the commission and Endeavor, Inko thinks she’ll be able to get you on house arrest so long as you attend a few reformation programs.” Hawks explained to the scarred man.

“I—I don’t know if I can leave the League. They’re assholes yeah, but they’re my assholes. We’ve kind of become a family, ya know?” Dabi looked away from Keigo. He didn’t want to see the man's look of disappointment.

“That’s fine. Inko offered to take on their cases too. She’s pretty sure she can get light sentences for all of them since each of their ‘crimes’ held extenuating circumstances.” Hawks comforted his mate, burrowing further into his chest.

“What if they don’t want to take that chance, though?” Dabi asked, knowing most of them would find such a thing impossible.

“That’s their decision then. Look, I want to be with you. If you want to show up on family day but still be a part of the League, then I’ll help you escape before authorities show up, and we can go burn the commission down after.” Keigo placated the shocked man.

“I know they hurt both of us, but you're not usually one for murder. What’d they do to earn your ire?” Dabi asked, was Keigo really willing to go villain for him?

“You know how they responded when we first kissed?” Keigo asked instead, referring to the torture sessions and how the commission told Keigo he needed to find a suitable girl.

“Yeah, they had an entire list of candidates for when you got—no, they didn’t,” Dabi asked in shock; they couldn’t sink that low, could they?

“Not only did they put my chick on that list, but they moved her to the top. They already had plans to buy another child to force the two of us into sex.” Keigo snarled as he remembered the unadulterated rage he felt towards the commission.

“I almost called you to ask if you wanted to go on a hunt with me.” Keigo continued as he thought about how desperately he wanted to tear into the flesh of Sayaka and her cronies.

“Why didn’t you?”

“Izuku asked me to offer you a chance at redemption first before going after them. If you choose redemption, I’ll hold off on my instincts until it’s time for the commissions' arrest. Izuku’s already promised me first arrest of those bastards.” Keigo grinned ferally at Dabi, who shivered in—fear? Lust? Maybe both?—at his exposed canines. Looks like Keigo had been growing them out lately.

“I’ll need to discuss this with the league, but for now—” Dabi rolled them over, so he was over top of Keigo. “I think we have some lost time to make up for.” He growled before claiming the heroes' lips.
