Discussions on quirks, missing dads, and trash
“Izuku” Inko said to her son.
“Yeah, mom.” He asked as he finished adjusting his blue bracelet for the day.
“Is there a reason I’ve suddenly found a list of Endickwads' most recent arrests and evidence on how to remove said arrests?” She asked him sweetly.
“He earned a level Four,” Izuku shrugged.
“I see, and how exactly did he earn your ire.”
Izuku went to answer his mother but was interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Now who could that be,” Inko said as she went to answer only to be met with both Aizawa—Sensei and All Might.
“Ah, I take it you’re here to discuss the new dorm system?” Inko asked, letting them in.
“And to make sure he—” Aizawa lightly slapped All Might’s good arm. “Doesn’t get out of his punishment since he already tried sending me away before we came here.”
“hmmm, Yes, I do have a few words about him giving my child such a volatile quirk.” Inko glared at All Might while she smiled sweetly.
All Might shivered in return. He didn’t know why, but her smile reminded him of a vigilante known as Heart Stopper. He worked with them once in America, never again.
“I take it young Midoriya told you?” He asked nervously.
“Bit hard not to since how I escaped from the League was broadcasted live. Mom knew something was off, so I had to explain to her about the doctor and my two quirks.” Izuku shrugged as he opened up his computer to begin creating one of his spreadsheets (By the way, I got this idea from the fic Izuku’s project https://archiveofourown.org/works/17805899/chapters/42010397 it’s fucking hilarious you should go read it.)
“In case you’re wondering, Kaachan and I already told them about Aldera and our past,” Izuku said to Aizawa as he continued to type away.
“Yes, and because of that, I’ve banned Izuku from analyzing anything but villains for the next couple of weeks. Now then.” Inko turned to All Might as Aizawa crept away from her and towards Izuku.
“Yagi Toshinori, what the hell were you thinking when you gave my child that fucking quirk. I tell you what you weren’t. I know Izuku agreed to it but didn’t you think I, as his mother, should have known? You are so fucking lucky I can’t sue you for forcibly giving a quirk to a child.”
“But I did—”
“Don’t interrupt me, or I promise you I will sue you for everything you have.” Inko smiled menacingly at the man as she watched him cower in fear. Why was she so terrifying? He’d rather face AFO in his prime than an angered Viper.
Aizawa watched on amusedly as Inko tore into Yagi, before glancing at what his kid was working on. It was a spreadsheet comparing the top ten heroes. Huh, while it’s not analysis, it could be considered as such.
“I thought your mother banned you from analyzing anything but heroes.” He said.
“She did,” Izuku answered as he continued to type away and flip through tabs on his screen rapidly.
“You know this could be counted as analysis.” He watched, amazed, as his student recorded information in his notebook and added to the spreadsheet.
“Then, I guess it’s a good thing this is on a villain.” Izuku hummed
“I’m sorry?” What villain? Aizawa was becoming confused.
“Oh right, you don’t know exactly how much of a piece of shit Endickwad is.” Izuku picked up his coffee and downed it.
“Kid, I know he’s…brash and not the be—”
“He started Todoroki—Kun's training at four; he did the same for his eldest who, by the way, is Dabi. He ignored his other two kids, physically and mentally abused his wife to the point where she had a psychotic break and gave Todoroki—Kun his Scar.” Izuku interrupted as he left his chair to refill his coffee.
“I—ho—” Aizawa was trying to digest what Izuku had said. He looked towards Yagi to see he had heard too but was still being berated by Mrs. Midoriya.
“By the way, do you think Nezu would be willing to get me footage from the sports festival, sometime before the third part started right around lunchtime, then again right before my match with Todoroki with Audio,” Izuku asked as he grabbed another mug to fill with coffee for his Sensei.
“I—you might have to play a game of chess with him, but probably. What’s all this about problem child?” Aizawa asked, accepting the mug of coffee and sipping at it. No sane underground hero denied Midoriya coffee. He didn’t know what it was but one cup, and he could make it through an entire shift and school day without taking a nap.
“I just told you.” Izuku gestured to his computer.
“Yeah, and I’m not denying anything of what you told me but don’t you think you should let us handle this,” Aizawa asked gently. His kid was smart, but he shouldn’t need to do something like this. It could put his career at risk.
“If I let you guys handle it by yourself, then it’ll just be brushed under the rug by the commission. Mom’s been trying to bring him to court for years and is denied every time. She has to collect enough evidence to take him before the U.N. and the global hero committee. Furthermore, when I told the cops that Dabi was Touya Todoroki, none of them believed me even when Detective Tsukauchi said I wasn’t lying.” Izuku Growled
“Why wasn’t I informed of this,” Aizawa growled out, eyes narrowing in anger.
“They figured he lied to me. I, as a child, naively believed him. Actually, Dabi’s one of the reasons Endickwad was upgraded to a level 4.” Izuku returned to developing his spreadsheet.
“Level Four?” Yagi questioned as he joined the two at the table, looking rather pale. Inko, on the other hand, was quite satisfied when she sat down with her coffee.
“Remember the Scarlet Hero?” Izuku asked in answer.
Yagi’s eyes darkened as he remembered the villain who dared call themselves a hero. “Unfortunately,” he Growled.
“Yeah, well, what happened to him before his arrest was a level 4.” Izuku shrugged, ignoring the shocked look on his Senseis’ faces.
“That—weren’t you ten then?” Aizawa spluttered.
“Yeah, and?” Izuku quirked his eyebrow in response. Honestly, why does his teacher think it’s such a big deal? Anyone could do what he does, and probably more efficiently.
“Inko—san, please, whatever you do, don’t let Nezu teach Izuku, I’m begging you.” Aizawa—sensei got on his knees and gripped Inko by the wrists.
Inko only chuckled fondly. “While I’d prefer Izuku not to learn under him, if it’s what he wants, then I will support him.” Inko patted Aizawa fondly on the head as he began to weep. Poor Shota, he really should stop stressing so much about things he can’t control.
“Oh yeah, I figured something out about my quirk Aizawa—sensei.” Izuku interrupted. He had no intention of letting the principal know about his capabilities. He’d lose what little free time he already has.
“Which one?” He groaned, enjoying the head pats. If he wasn’t gay and married to Hizashi and didn’t see Inko as an older sister, he would marry this woman. She always knew the best way to give head scritches.
“Copy All,” Izuku answered, which was the name he’d given his quirk when he changed it on the registry.
“Alright, what new whacky mutation did you get this time.” Aizawa removed himself from the floor to sit next to his kid.
“So, when I got home, I decided to try and find my mom’s quirk because I know she’s used it on me a few times by accident to keep me from getting hurt. However, I couldn’t find it. Like at all. So I had mom use her quirk on me. Now when someone uses their quirk on me, I can feel it being ‘added’ but with mom nothing.” Izuku paused as he replenished the air in his lungs. “This leads me to believe that my quirk cannot copy the quirks of people who are directly related to me.” Izuku finished as he completed one of many spreadsheets to come. Hopefully, by the time they moved to the dorms, Endewhore’s rank would have dropped.
“What ah—What exactly is Copy all?” All Might asked.
“So I had a quirk all this time, which was suppressed but only to the point where I couldn’t access it. Said quirk makes a copy of any quirk that interacts with me in some way, including mutations. I.E., if Ojirou hits me with his tail, I’ll have a copy of his quirk. If someone hits me with something made from their quirk or their quirk, I’ll have a copy. The downside is I start with the basest form and have to train it up. The more I train, the more it ‘levels up’” Izuku explained as he finished his coffee.
“You kno—”
“That sounds rather similar to All For One, which is why mom has been trying to get a hold of dad to find out who his parents were since she doesn’t know who hers were.” Izuku interrupted.
“Why not have a blood test done?” All Might asks
“Because if I am related to that asshole in the Darth Vader mask, the commission will triple their efforts in getting me under their complete control.” Izuku snapped, then regretted it instantly. Who could blame him? He had been having nightmares from the training camp since he got home. Right now, he was currently running on two hours of sleep.
“Izuku, sweetie, why don’t you go take a nap?” Inko suggested to her son, calmly.
“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.” He practically ran to his room, shutting the door.
Inko sighed before she continued the conversation. “The commission has already been by in an attempt to take Izuku. They didn’t seem to realize I was his mother. However, as I’m sure you’re aware, they’ve already arranged for Hawks to visit U.A. and train him in Fierce Wing?” Inko asked.
“Indeed, I promise you I will keep a close eye on them,” Aizawa swore; no one was taking his kid away from him. Not if he could help it, commission be damned.
“Hmmm, good do me a favor, though? Make sure to have a recording on hand with their interactions. Especially focus on whatever Hawks says.” Inko conceded.
“What are you looking for?” All Might asked
“A way to take down the current commission.”
