The Old Therebefore
Summary
JOSEPHINE MONROE was not like all the other girls that Wednesday had met, and not because she didn't enjoy typically girly things or always wanted attention; but because she didn't speak. Josephine never spoke a word, and that naturally made Wednesday curious. As the two girls embark on a rather dangerous journey, they grow close. What if they grow closer than mutual friends?

episode one , wednesday's child is full of woe

JOSEPHINE MONROE, often ignored her roommate Yoko, since she often had her girlfriend (Diviana) over to have sex. Jo frankly thought it was disgusting, she hated that their dorm reeked of bodily fluids. So naturally, Josie spent most of her time in their spare rooms, in Bianca's dorm or the abandoned theater just outside of town.

This also, coincidentally, made her late to class the majority of the time. This is where she was now, running back to campus to clean her dirty laundry so she could have a uniform for tomorrow. When Josephine walked through the door, do you want to know what she saw?

Diviana against the wall, in a 'sexy' prison attire, to which Yoko sitting in her lap with a, strap on. She was wearing a 'sexy' police woman outfit; her boobs were fully exposed.

"For the love of all things holy, I texted you both thirty minutes ago! I said and I quote," Josephine quickly pulled out her phone and showed it to them, " 'I'll be back in thirty minutes. You better not be having sex when I get back.'" She signed as she showed Yoko the messages.

"Fine! We're going, but only because I need you to do my laundry." Yoko grumbled as she moved Diviana into the restroom to clean off the bodily fluids off of her body, before tossing the dirty clothes over towards the traumatized roommate in the main bedroom/common area.

"I never said I was going to do your laundry Yoko." Josephine signed with annoyance as she waved her wand and everything was tidy, and clean that smells very good. "I'm just doing my laundry. Learn to do your own laundry, Yoko!" Josephine signed aggressively as Yoko let out a pained groan. "And you better not be having sex, I have homework to do." Josephine threw her hands in the air ad she grabbed her laundry basket and headed off to the laundry room down the hall. Inside were twelve washers and dryers, there were a bunch of magnets with each students names that lived in Ophelia Hall. Josephine grabbed the 'JOSEPHINE MONROE' and placed it in the washer/dryer that she planed on using. Than, Josephine placed her laundry in the washer and wrote blacks/darks. Before leaving with the whites and lights. She placed them near her side of the dorm room inside the entrance.

Josephine was now walking through the halls on her way to the library, when she heard a voice. Making her jump, her wand almost falling out of her pocket. "Josie!" The voice, Enid Sinclair, came bouncing over to her. Josephine held back an eye roll and stared at Enid with a quizzical look.

"Sinclair, what have I told you about nicknames?" Josephine asked through signed as she stared at the girl, who seemed to have someone behind her. "And who is this?" Josephine looked the (now in clear view) goth girl with silver eyes.

"Wednesday Addams." The girl said as she stared a Josephine.

"Josephine Monroe. It's a pleasure to meet you Addams, now if you don't mind. I best be off." Josephine signed as she looked at Wednesday. "Sinclair, if you call me a nickname again, you'll loose your tongue." Josephine stared at Enid before turning on her heel and heading to the library.

Josephine stood in front of the washer, waiting for her darks/blacks to finish (which they should be done in three minutes). Josephine checked her watch and sighed before leaning back and staring out the window. Her eyes caught a vaguely familiar black shadow with another woman who was holding some kind a of neckless. Josephine could hear them talking.

"Any plans you have of running away end right now.
I've alerted all family members to contact me the minute you darken their doorstep. You have nowhere to go." The older woman, Josephine assumed it was Wednesday Addams' mother, said as she stared her daughter.

"As usual, you underestimate me, mother. I will escape this penitentiary and then you will never hear from me again." Wednesday spoke in a proper manner as Josephine checked her watch once more.

"You are a brilliant girl, Wednesday, but sometimes you get in your own way. I'm sure you'll grow to love Nevermore and find it as life-changing as I did." Mrs. Addams said as she looked up to see a girl tossing a time out the window, it breaking in front of her.

Josephine smiled as she timer she and set finally went off she than changed her laundry from darks to lights and putting the darks in the dryer. Josephine left leaving only the whites in her 'dirty' basket. Josephine walked back to her dorm, and when she got there, Yoko wasn't inside. Josephine cheered as she waved her hand and all her clothes were folded up. The brown haired girl then put her clothes away before seeing her dark brown 70s leather jacket. It was her dads, Josephine smiled and changed out of uniform and into a blue and white stripped shirt with a jean skirt and big healed boots. Throwing the jacket over and tucking her wand  in her bun hair before waving over a visible net to keep it in place.

"Miss Monroe!" Principle Weems said as she saw the younger girl. "I've been looking all over for you! You were supposed to meet the Addams." Weems said as Josephine looked at the older woman.

"First of all! I was at the store buying food so I can re-stocking my mini fridge, second of all, I was also doing laundry. Half of the students here cannot do laundry or go shopping. They do not have basic skills." Josephine started as Weems just stared at her and laughed. "Yoko has tried to bribe me several times to do her laundry. She doesn't have a job to pay me. She bribes me with blood!" Josephine signed throwing her hands into the air as Weems chuckled.

"Headmistress, this is not funny!" Josephine signed rapidly at the principle in front of her.

"I'll let this slide for once, Miss Monroe. But, next time we have a new student, I expect you to give the tour since you are head of the student council. Bianca will be translated for you, as she is vice chair." Weems said as Josephine handed Weems a piece of paper. It was a picture of Josephine, and older child and two adults who didn't seem familiar.

"Please don't let anyone find that." Josephine signed to Weems who smiled. "Now, I am going to the theater." Josephine looked at Weems before pulling her bag over her shoulder and waving as she walked away, and with that.
