"You'll be the death of me." - Greg Lestrade x Fem!Reader
“Y/n, my dearest sister. I need you to go with Mycroft to his party for his work.” Sherlock, Y/n’s older brother said. “Why can’t you go with him?” “Because I don’t want to go. And Mycroft doesn’t want me to go with him as well. He specifically told me to ask you, because I was irritating him.” Sherlock replied. “When are you not irritating him?” Y/n asked. An hour went by and Y/n was laying on the couch in 221B, when Mycroft walked in. “Has Sherlock asked you?” “Asked me what? Sherlock asked me a lot of things today, Mycroft.” Y/n answered. “Did he ask you about that dinner party my work is holding?” Mycroft asked. “He did.” Y/n answered. “Well, what is your answer?” Mycroft asked. “Sure. I’ll go with you if you pay for my dress and shoes.” Y/n replied. “Take my card and get yourself a dress and shoes. Don’t go overboard and make me broke. I will come and pick you up at 5.” Mycroft said as he took out his wallet and gave the youngest Holmes his credit card.
“Thanks, Mykie.” Y/n said as she got up from the couch and walked out of the room. “Don’t call me that, Y/n.” Mycroft called out as she made her way down the steps. “Where are you off to, Y/n?” Mrs Hudson asked. “I’m going to buy a dress and shoes for tonight. Mycroft asked me to join him for a party at his work.” Y/n answered. “Where are you going?” John asked as he and Mary walked in. “I have to go with Mycroft to his work party and I’m going to get myself a dress and shoes. Mary, would you like to come along?” Y/n asked. “Alright, see you later, love.” Mary said to John as she followed the Youngest Holmes out of the flat and into the cab. “Where would you like to go for a dress?” “I have no clue.” Y/n said. “Well, there is this really cute boutique near Downing Street that sell evening gowns. We could go from there.” Mary replied. “Sure, let’s try there then.” Y/n said as Mary told the driver the address. “What colour do you want to go for?” Mary asked.
“I don’t know. Mum always told me I look great in royal blue.” Y/n replied as they were now walking into the store. “Why not go for royal blue then? This one right here would look gorgeous on you.” Mary said as she pointed out the dress. “How can I help you, Mrs Holmes?” The woman of the store asked. “Could I possibly try that blue dress on?” Y/n answered. “Of course you can.” The woman said as she gave the younger woman the dress and led her to the dressing room. Y/n took off her outfit and pulled on the dress, before stepping out and looking at Mary. “What do you think?” “It’s beautiful.” Mary said as she looked at the woman. “You think?” Y/n asked. “Yes, you’re going to blow everyone away when you walk in the room.” Mary said, before Y/n heard her notifications go off. She walked into the dressing room and saw that Mycroft has texted her.
Don’t look too dramatic with your outfit. There are top class men and women at this party. -MH
Are you calling me dramatic?
No, just don’t go over the top. -MH
“Look what Mycroft just texted.” Y/n said as she showed Mary the texts. “Now you have to get that dress.” “How much is this one?” Y/n asked the woman. “£250.” “I’ll take it.” Y/n said with a smile and walked back into the dressing room, before changing back into her black jeans and black shirt. She pulled on her heels and walked out of the dressing room. “Let me put this in the bag.” “Y/n, Sherlock asked if we could go to Scotland Yard and talk to Greg about a case.” Mary said as she hung up her phone. “Is it possible if you could drop this off at 221 B Bakerstreet? I’ll pay you twice as much as this dress is.” Y/n said. “Of course I can, Mrs Holmes.” Y/n paid for the dress, before they walked out of the store. “Mycroft is not going to like the fact you just paid £500 for a dress and delivery service.” Mary said as they walked towards Scotland Yard. “So? He shouldn’t have told me not to go over the top. And I’m not dramatic.” Y/n replied.
They walked into the building and went to the correct floor, before walking out of the elevator. “Holmes.” Donovan said as she saw the woman. “Morning to you too Donovan. Had fun with Anderson last night?” Y/n asked. “No. What makes you think that?”
“The Perfume you are wearing is his deodorant.” Y/n replied, before she walked to Greg’s office. “Hey, Y/n.” Anderson said as he walked up to the women. “Philip.” Y/n answered. “You’re looking good today.” “Just today? I thought I looked good every day.” Y/n said. “You do. It’s just, you look different today.” “What are you trying to do?” Mary asked. “Ask her out.” “No, thank you.” Y/n answered. “Why not? I want to give myself to you, Y/n.” Philip said. “Sorry, but I don’t accept cheap gifts. If you don’t mind. We have somethings to discuss with Greg.” Y/n said, before she knocked on the door, which flew open. “Anderson, stop harassing women who are not interested in you.” Greg said, before the man walked away. “Sorry ‘bout that.” Greg said to Y/n and Mary. “Don’t be. I’m glad you said something about it.” Y/n said. “Sherlock told me that you had to talk to us about something?” “Yes, why don’t you both come in and take a seat. This might take some time.”
Greg said, before the women walked into the office and sat down in front of his desk. An hour went by, when they were finishing up the conversation. “So, that’s what I have to tell Sherlock?” Y/n asked after a moment of silence. “If you want. He might understand you better if you explain it.” Greg replied. “Alright. I’ll let you know what he says about the undercover act.” Y/n said. “Excellent. Enjoy the rest of your days, ladies.” Greg said as they made their way out of the room. “You too, Greg.” Y/n replied with a warming smile, that made him bite his lip. She walked out of the room, before closing the door and following Mary out of the building. “What the hell was that back there?” Mary asked. “What?” “The lip bite of Greg when you smiled at him. He’s not very obvious with his crush on you.” Mary said. “Yeah, he doesn’t hide it that well, does he?” Y/n replied as they walked to Bakerstreet. Y/n found the dress in her room and decided to change.
When she was ready, Mrs Hudson walked into the living room as Y/n had walked out of the room. “There is a car waiting outside for you, my dear.” Mrs Hudson said as she gave the girl her clutch. “Thank you so much, Mrs Hudson. Sherlock, don’t wait up for me.” Y/n said, before she walked down the stairs and out of the flat. She got in the car and looked at her brother as she slid in the car. “I thought I told you not to go over the top.” Mycroft said. “This is far from over the top. Mummy said I look good in royal blue and you know that I always listen to whatever mummy tells me. Plus father told me the same thing.” Y/n replied. Mycroft rolled his eyes, before looking out of the car window. “Did you just roll your eyes at me?” Y/n asked. “Yes.” “Wow, I really regret telling you that I was going to join you.” Y/n said, before she grabbed her phone and texted Mary that she already hated the evening.
Once they arrived, Y/n was basically left on her own, since Mycroft talked to the workers and goverment officials. “So, you are the younger sister Mycroft speaks so fondly about?” A woman asked Y/n. “Uhm, I might be. Who are you?” Y/n asked. “Elizabeth. Elizabeth Smallwood.” The woman replied. “Oh, Mycroft talks about me to you?” Y/n asked. “He does. He told me that you graduated from Harvard Law School.” Elizabeth answered. “I did. But I don’t think Mycroft talked about me.” “He does. He even told me a couple of times, in his own special way, that he is very proud of you for the woman you are becoming.” Elizabeth said. “Really? Did he tell you that?” Y/n asked and the woman nodded. “He has a funny way to show it me.” Y/n said. “I have to go and talk to Veronica. It was nice talking to you, Y/n. And you are looking devine.” Y/n tried to enjoy herself, but decided to walk out of the room and stood on the balcony looking out over the city.
“You seem like you could use something stronger than red wine to enjoy yourself.” Y/n heard Greg say. “I could. But then again, I have to compose myself because Mycroft told me to.” Y/n replied. “Well, you shouldn’t care of what Mycroft thinks. You need to enjoy yourself, even though this is a dreadful place.” Greg said. “What are you doing here exactly?” Y/n asked. “I had to check things out, keep an eye out for suspicious people.” Greg replied and Y/n knew he was lying. “Mycroft asked you to come here, because he knows I would enjoy your company, didn’t he?” Y/n asked. “He did.” Greg replied. Y/n laughed, before looking down at her hands. “Do you mind if we go somewhere else? With less people than here?” Y/n asked. “Uhm, sure.” Greg replied, before they walked off of the balcony and walked back into the room. Y/n grabbed her clutch from the table, before looking back at Greg. “We might have to avoid running into Mycroft. So, take my hand.” Y/n said as she held out her hand. He hesitated, before taking her hand and followed her out of the building. “Where do you want to go?” Greg asked as they walked down the street. “I could eat something.” Y/n replied as she looked at him. “Are you down to eat anywhere but a fancy restaurant?” Greg asked. “Well, I could eat Fish and Chips.” Y/n answered. “Great answer.” Greg replied with a smile, before they walked towards a little fish and chips restaurant. Y/n sat down, when Greg went to order.
She was watching him talk and move and couldn't help but fall more in love with him than she already had. He walked to the table and sat down in front of her, while putting the food down. "This looks great. I will pay you back later." Y/n said. "It's not a big deal. Don't worry about paying me back, love." Greg said as they ate. "Greg. Can I ask you something?" Y/n asked. "Yeah. Of course." "Well, why is it that whenever I am in some sort of danger or in a miserable situation, you are always there to cheer me up or to protect me?" Y/n asked. "Uh, well, that might be because you are an amazing friend and I don't want to see you get hurt." "Am i just a friend? Because the way you look at me tells me that you have feelings for me and that you are trying to work out how to tell me that you love me and how you want me to be yours. Is that correct?" Y/n asked. "Uhm, how do you know?"
"Did you already forget who my brothers are? Deducting things runs in the family." Y/n answered. "Right. You are correct. I have had feelings for you for the longest time. And I just don't know how to tell you. Because of Mycroft and Sherlock." Greg said. "But you don't have to be scared of them. They have nothing to say about what I do and who I love." Y/n replied. They finished eating and Y/n got up from her seat. "I will be right back." Y/n said, before she walked to the bathroom. She walked into the bathroom, before deciding to take off her lace thong and stuffed them in her clutch. She touched up her makeup, before walking back out and smiled at Greg. "Can we walk around the city some more?" She asked. "Of course." Greg answered as they walked out of the restaurant. "It's colder then when we arrived." Y/n said. Greg looked at her and took off his blazer before placing it over her shoulders. "Better?" Greg asked. "Much better." Y/n replied as they walked.
"Greg. You know that we talked about your feelings, right. But I think I should tell you about mine. Because the feelings are mutual." Y/n said. "Really? They are mutual?" Greg asked. "Yes. And I have for as long as I met you." She said. "Really?" Greg asked. "Yes, really. Why is that so hard to believe? It is not that I will ever fall for Anderson." Y/n said. "You really have feelings for me as well?" Greg asked. She stepped closer to him and looked in his eyes. "I'll show you." Y/n said, before she grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him down. She placed her lips on his and he placed his hands on her waist. She held him close as their lips moved together. She could feel the soft tickle of his breath beneath her nose and moaned a little on the kiss. They pulled away and Y/n smiled. "How far away is your place?" Y/n asked. "5 minutes with the cab." Greg replied. "Can we go back to your place?" Y/n asked. "Of course, love." Greg said as he hailed a taxi.
Once a taxi stopped, they got in and went to his flat. They walked in and Y/n felt herself being pressed against the wall near the door. Their lips were connected in a heated makeout session and Y/n felt her dress being lifted up. "No panties? Were you expecting for something to happen?" Greg asked. "Maybe. I had a feeling that we might be doing something together from the moment I saw you at the party." Y/n replied. "Now, do you want my fingers or my mouth on you?" Greg asked after a minute. "Mouth, please." Y/n answered as Greg got on his knees and started to eat her out. "Oh, Greg." Y/n moaned as her hands went to his hair and slowly moved her hips against his mouth. She moaned louder as she felt him thrust a finger inside of her. "Fuck, that's it, Greg." Y/n moaned. Greg pulled away and looked up at her. "You taste devine, dear. I could eat you out all day and not get tired of it." Greg said. "I don't want you to eat me out all day. I want your cock inside of me and fuck me on the kitchen counter." Y/n said. "You dirty little girl." Greg said as he got up and led her to the kitchen, before pulling down his trousers and boxers. She looked at his cock and smirked. "I didn't know you were this big, baby." Y/n said. "Can you handle a cock this big?" Greg asked. "Of course I can." Y/n replied, before he bent her over and lined his cock up at her hole and thrusted inside. "Oh fuck, Greg." Y/n moaned as he thrusted inside of her and her hips hit the counter with each thrust. "Such a pretty girl. Mhm, you all mine, gorgeous. Your body belongs to me." Greg said as he thrusted. "I belong to you Greg. I want nobody else but you." Y/n moaned.
"Good girl. Now let's see how loud you can moan my name when you come, 'cause I feel you clenching on my cock." Greg said as he hit her sweet spot inside of her. Y/n moaned his name loudly as she came and her legs trembled as she calmed down. "Fuck, that was so good." Greg groaned as he came inside of her. They went to the bedroom, where they had two more rounds, before showering and laying in his bed. "I wanna be with you, Greg. I don't care what my brothers would say. You are the one that I need in my life." Y/n said as she had her head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. "I don't want you to leave my side, gorgeous. I can't live without you anymore." Greg replied. "Will you say something to Anderson if he talks to me again?" Y/n asked. "I will, love." Greg replied. A couple of weeks went by. Y/n and Greg were still together and they tried their hardest to keep it from Mycroft and Sherlock.
It was a summery monday morning and Y/n woke up. She saw Greg laying beside her and smiled, before she moved a strand of his hair out of his face. "Good morning, gorgeous." Greg replied, his voice sounding even more sexy than it already was. "Good morning, handsome. What are the plans for today?" Y/n asked. "Well, since today is a free day for me, I was thinking we could stay in bed all day." Greg said. "Just in bed? Wow, how boring." Y/n said, before he grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. "Boring? Well, gorgeous. I can think of ways to make it less boring." Greg said, before he went under the cover and began to eat her out. "Y/n, are you in your room?" Y/n hear Mycroft asked. "Uh yeah." Y/n answered. "There you are. I have a question. Do you mind going and having a chat with Gregory? About a case." Mycroft said. "Case? What case?" Greg asked as he got out from under the covers. "What on earth is going on?" Mycroft asked.
"Nothing. Just two lovers enjoying their time together." Y/n replied. "Sherlock! Come to Y/n's room!" Mycroft yelled. "For god sake, both of you, put some clothes on." Mycroft said. "Can you turn around then?" Y/n asked. They got out of the bed and Greg pulled his clothes back on. Y/n pulled on her blue dress, before Sherlock walked in the room. "What is going on? Why is Giles in Y/n's room?" Sherlock asked. "Y/n, care to explain why Gregory is in your room?" Mycroft asked. "Jesus Christ. Greg and I are dating." Y/n said. "Since when?" Sherlock asked. "Since a couple of weeks. We got together after that party you dragged me to." Y/n answered. "It took you two some time to admit it." Sherlock said. "If you dare to hurt our little sister, I will make sure that that will be the last thing you do." Mycroft said. "And for christ sake. Keep it down. I heard you two last night and I could think." Sherlock said, before they walked out of the room.
"Well at least they now know." Y/n said. "I wish it would have been in a different way. Not when I am going down on you." Greg replied. "Do you mind walking around the city today? It will do us great to get away from the tension in this house." Y/n said. "Of course. Lead the way, beautiful." Greg replied as they walked out of the room. "I love you." Y/n said out of the blue as they were walking down the stairs. "I love you too, angel." Greg replied, before he placed his lips on hers. "Since when are you two together?" John asked. "Obviously since a couple of weeks. I knew that blue dress would do wonders." "Wait, Mary, you knew that they were together? Does everyone know?" John asked. "Yes. Sorry that you are the last one to find out, John." Y/n said, before she and Greg walked out the flat. "John's not the last one to find out." Greg said. "No? Who is then?" "Anderson. And he will not be pleased if he finds out." Greg answered. "So? I don't want to please him. I want to please you when we get back from our walk." Y/n replied. "Oh you'll be the death of me, love."
