"You seriously are going to leave me? Leave your son, who needs a dad?" Y/n asked her boyfriend, Matt as they were fighting. "Yes. I never wanted that boy anyway. I told you that you shoud have gotten an abortion, but here we are. I am not going to take care of him. Goodbye." Matt said. "If you walk out of that door, we are done." Y/n yelled through her tears. "Fine. I never fucking loved you." Matt yelled, before the sound of a door thrown shut filled the room and not long after she heard her baby boy cry. She walked to the crib and picked the boy up. "Shh, my little baby. Mummy's here. I'm not going to leave you." Y/n said. She rocked the baby to sleep, before tears fell out of her eyes. She walked to the front door of the house and decided to go on a walk to her father's office. She placed the baby boy in the stroller and pulled on her shoes. She headed out the door, before walking to Scotland Yard.
She looked down at Asher, who was peacefully asleep in his stroller and smiled, before looking up and seeing that she had arrived. She walked into the elevator, before going up. Y/n stepped out and saw Donovan walking over to her. "I wasn't expecting to see you here today. How have you been?" Sally asked. "I've been alright. Busy taking care of my little boy." Y/n replied. "He looks so much like you." Sally said. "Thank you. Is, uhm, dad in his office?" Y/n asked. "Yes. He is." Sally replied, before Y/n walked to Greg’s office. She knocked on the door, before opening it. "Hi dad." Y/n said as she picked the boy up from the stroller and walked in. "Y/n? Hey, what are you doing here?" Greg asked. "Asher wanted to see his granddad." Y/n replied with a smile as Greg stood up and took the boy in his arms. "Where's Matt?" Greg asked. Y/n looked down at her feet and felt the tears come back. "Y/n? What's wrong?" Greg asked.
"Matt left. He got angry today and told me that he didn't want Asher." Y/n cried. "What? Are you serious?" "Yes. And when he was about to walk out of the house, I told him that we were done and he said that he never loved me." Y/n cried. There was a knock on the door and Y/n quickly wiped her tears, before opening the door. "Giles. Y/n." Sherlock said as he walked in. "Greg." John corrected as he followed the detective, before Mary walked in. "Hey, Y/n." Mary said. "Hi." Y/n replied, before her phone rang. She grabbed her phone and picked it up. "Mycroft? What's wrong?" Y/n asked as she walked out of the room. "I want to see you about a meeting. Do you have some time now?" Mycroft asked. "I just have to ask dad if he wants to watch Asher." Y/n replied. "Good. I will see you shortly." Mycroft said, before hanging up. She walked back in the room, before looking at her father. "Dad, would you mind watching Asher? I have to go to Mycroft." Y/n said.
"I have to go to a crime scene." Greg replied. "I can watch him if you want." Mary said. "Would you do that? That would be amazing." Y/n said. "Of course, I will do that. Is everything that I need for him in his bag?" Mary asked. "Yes. Everything is in there. You are amazing for doing that, Mary." Y/n said. She walked out of the building, before walking to the office building. She walked up to Mycroft's office, before knocking on the door. "Enter." Mycroft said. Y/n walked in and looked at him. "You wanted to see me, Mycroft?" "Yes. Elizabeth has asked me if I could give you the notes of the meetings we had when you were on your maternity leave." Mycroft said. "Does Elizabeth know that I am still on maternity leave? I gave birth to Asher 3 weeks ago." Y/n said, looking rather confused. "And you told me I could stay home 2 months before and 2 months after birth." She added, as if she had told him for the first time.
"Yes. I forgot to tell her. Would you mind reading those notes during your leave? Or would you like to wait until you are back?" Mycroft asked. "You can give me the notes. I am here now." Y/n said. Mycroft gave her the file and she was about to leave. "How was the birth of Asher?" Mycroft asked. "Painful. But I am so glad he's here." Y/n said. "There is something else bothering you. You can tell me." Mycroft said. "It's nothing. Everything's alright. I will call you if I have any questions." Y/n said. She walked out of the office.
She made her way out of the building and crossed the street.
A car sped towards her and she heard Sherlock call out, before he grabbed her waist and pulled her away. "Are you okay?" Sherlock asked as he looked at her. "I think." Y/n answered. "You didn't break anything?" John asked. "I don't know. You are the doctor." "I don't see anything. But I wanna be certain. Let's go inside and I'll call a doctor to make sure you didn't break anything." John said. "Where's Asher?" Y/n asked. "At Bakerstreet with Mary. He's in good hands." John replied. Mycroft walked in the lobby and saw Y/n with John and Sherlock. "What are you doing here, brother mine?" Mycroft asked. "John wanted to check on Y/n, who was nearly in a car accident. She doesn't have any broken bones." Sherlock replied. "Did you see the license plate?" Mycroft asked. "I didn't." "I did." Sherlock said.
"Go to Gregory. I am sure his darling daughter wants to tell him about what happened." "Could you possibly go with her?" John asked. "Maybe you should ask me what I want to do. I don't want to go and tell dad about what happened. I just want to go and get Asher and go home." Y/n said as she stood up. "I am tired of you three assuming that I have to tell everything to my dad. I am a full grown woman. I can do whatever the fuck I want. You three can't nurture me like a teenager." Y/n yelled. She looked at the men, before deciding to hail a cab. "If one of you tells my dad about what happened, I will literally fight you." Y/n said, before she got in the cab. "Where too, mrs?" The cabbie asked. "221b Baker Street. And is it possible that you can wait for a minute? I have to get my son inside before going home." Y/n said. "Of course. I don't mind." The man replied. He drove to Baker Street, before parking outside. "I'll be quick."
Y/n said as she got out of the car, before ringing the doorbell. "Oh, Y/n, dear. It is lovely to see you." Mrs Hudson said. "I know. Is Mary inside? I've come to pick up Asher." Y/n said as she walked inside. "Yes, she is upstairs with him. He is such a lively little boy. In the two hours he has been here, he hasn't cried once." Mrs Hudson said. "I know. Asher is a happy little boy." Y/n said as she walked up to 221b and knocked on the door, before walking in. "Hi, everything is alright here?" Y/n asked Mary. "Yes. He played a little and now he's sleeping. Are you going home?" Mary asked. "Yes. I have to read over files of meetings and I forgot that I had a call with Elizabeth." Y/n replied. "I will leave you to it. If you want, we can have lunch together tomorrow. I'll bring Rosie." "That would be nice. I have to go, my taxi is waiting." Y/n said. "Alright." Mary said as she helped the woman getting the stroller in the car. A couple of weeks went by.
In those weeks, Y/n had to look for a new house, since the old one was of Matt and he wanted her to move out with the baby. Currently she was in her office, while Molly was watching Asher, on a phone call with Elizabeth about a problem she was having. “Do you have any questions?” Elizabeth asked. “No, I’ll call you if I have questions.” Y/n replied. “Good. When are you going to talk to Mycroft? He’s very worried about you.” Elizabeth said. “He doesn’t have to be worried about me. I’m fine.” Y/n said. “Alright. But I know Mycroft’s not going to believe you.” “I have to go. Asher needs his food. I’ll talk to you in a few days.” Y/n said, before she hung up and walked into the living room. "Have you talked to the boys? After the last time you spoke?" Mary asked. "No." Y/n replied as she was sitting on the couch, when Greg walked in. "When were you going to tell me that you nearly got in a car accident 3 weeks ago?" Greg asked.
"Because I didn't. Sherlock saved me." Y/n replied. "And who told you, by the way?" She added. "Sherlock did. If he didn't tell me I wouldn't have known because I haven't seen you in days. What's going on with you?" Greg asked. "Matt kicked me out of the house. Because it was his and he wanted to keep it for him and his new girlfriend. I had to look for a new house all of a sudden. I am fucking stressed. Asher has been sick for a few days. And everyone keeps asking me if everything is alright when I am fine. I am fucking fine." Y/n replied loudly.
“You know what you need. A vacation. Just nothing to worry about and someone to take care of Asher when you are away.” Mary said. “I want Asher to be there if I take vacation.” Y/n said. “Well then, go out for the evening.” Greg said. “I’ll watch my grandson for the night, I’ll even let him stay over. You just need to take care of yourself.” He added. “I’ll think about it.” Y/n said. “If you are ever in an accident again, you call me.” Greg said. “Fine, dad. I’ll let you know.” Y/n replied. Greg walked out of the house, before Mary looked at her. “Greg’s right. You should go out tonight.” Mary said. “I don’t want to go out. I have to work.” Y/n replied, not noticing that Greg had led Mycroft in the house. “Everything you have to work on has to be done in four days. There is no need for you to work tonight and regret wasting a excellent night out.” Mycroft said. “Where the hell did you come from?” Mary asked. “Gregory let me in.” Mycroft replied.
“What am I supposed to do? It’s sunday.” Y/n said. “I could take you out for dinner.” Mycroft suggested. “You want to take me out for dinner?” Y/n asked. “Yes. I would like to have dinner with you and get to know you a bit better.” Mycroft said. “Fine.” Y/n replied. “It’s 4 PM. Go and get ready. I’ll watch Asher and take him with me to Baker Street.” Mary said. “Fine. Please call me if something’s wrong.” Y/n replied. “Did you forget who my husband is? He’s a doctor, I think Asher’s going to be fine if something happens.” Mary said with a smile. “But still, I wanna know if something happens to him.” Y/n said. “Go and get ready.” Mary replied, before Y/n walked up the stairs towards her bedroom. She pulled out her black dress and walked into the bathroom, before changing and did her hair and makeup. She pulled on her burgundy heels, before walking out of the room and back down the stairs.
“Mary has left already. Told me to tell you that everything will be alright with Asher and that you have to enjoy your time.” Mycroft said. “Where do you want to have dinner?” Y/n asked. “I know a couple of good restaurants. But I thought we could try my absolute favourite.” Mycroft replied as he led her out of the house and into the car that was out the front door. “Your favourite? I didn’t know you had a favourite restaurant, Mycroft.” Y/n said as she got in after him. “I do. It’s really good and you will love it as well. “ Mycroft replied. “Will I?” Y/n asked as she looked at him. “Of course you will.” Mycroft answered. The car ride was fairly quiet and peaceful. All Y/n could think about was the fact why he cares about her so much. “We’re here.” Mycroft said as the car stopped. They got out of the car and walked into the restaurant. “Ah, Mr Holmes? A table for two this time?” The waiter asked. “Yes, please. Far back, fairly quiet spot.” Mycroft replied.
“Right this way, sir.” The man said. They followed the waiter to the table and Mycroft moved Y/n’s chair for her to sit down. “Could you possibly bring your finest wine? And a bottle of still water.” “Of course, sir.” The waiter walked away as Mycroft sat down in front of her. “Go ahead. You have questions for me, I’m happy to answer them.” Mycroft said. “Why do you care so much about me? Elizabeth told me you were worried.” Y/n said. “I care about you because you are my friend.” Mycroft replied. “There’s more than that. I know you and Sherlock. You don’t really have friends. I must be someone special if you consider me as your friend.” Y/n said. “So again. Why do you care about me?” She asked. “You are special. You know that Sherlock and I read people on a daily basis. But there is something about you that I can’t read. It seems like you have a shield of some sort around you. I can’t read you as well as I can read other people.” Mycroft said.
“All you have to do is ask about my life. Ask about me.” Y/n replied. “Why aren’t you coming into the office anymore? Is it something I have done that upset you?” Mycroft asked. “No. It’s nothing you have done. I just needed some space and I had to stay home with Asher.” Y/n replied. “Y/n, Asher is fine. He has been in day care for most of the days. It must have been something that I have done.” “It’s not, Mycroft. I just needed time to think. It was all getting to much. I haven’t told you this, because I knew you would care about me and worry about me.”
Y/n stared as she looked at him. “The day of the car accident, Matt broke up with me. He told me he didn’t want Asher. Never wanted him to begin with. He told me to get an abortion, but I couldn’t. He kicked me out of the house a couple of weeks ago. I was so stressed, I just had to stay home.” Y/n said as tears formed in her eyes. “Why didn’t you tell me?" "Because I know the power you have. You would have talked to him in your own way and I wanted to deal with it. Although it has been very hard to deal with." Y/n said. "You could have told me. I couldn't promise I wouldn't do anything about him that wouldn't involve him getting mysteriously killed, but I would have talked some sense into him." Mycroft said. "Well it happened. And I dwell on the day that I have to tell Asher that he doesn't have a dad. Or that his father is an asshole and couldn't take up the responsibility." Y/n said.
They chatted some more about various things and Y/n noticed the way he was looking at her ever time she was talking and couldn't help the fact of falling more in love with him than she already had. “Did you enjoy your meals?” The waiter asked as he walked up to the table. “Yes, I enjoyed it very much, did you, Y/n?” Mycroft asked. “I did. I’m very surprised about how much I liked the food.” Y/n replied. “Would you like some dessert?” The waiter asked and Mycroft looked at Y/n. “Just something to share. I’ll leave it up to you what you want to offer us.” Y/n replied with a smile. “Alright. I’ll be right back with the dessert.” The waiter said, before walking away. “I don’t want dessert.” Mycroft said. “You’re going to enjoy this with me. You don’t have to care about the fact that Sherlock makes fun of your weight. To me you are perfect the way you are, even if you put on weight or try to lose weight.” Y/n said, before she could even realise what she had said.
“You notice that I am trying to lose weight?” Mycroft asked. “Yes, I do. And you shouldn’t care. You’re perfect. Don’t forget you’re old.” Y/n said. “Ecxuse me?” Mycroft asked, confused. “I mean it in a good way. Look at dad. He’s old and chubby. It’s cute. And nothing you need to change.” Y/n said. “Did you just admit to me that you have feelings for me?” Mycroft asked. “Is that what you got from that?” Y/n answered. “Sounded like it.” “What will you do if I did admit my feelings?” Y/n asked. “Here you go. This is a chocolate fudge brownie, homemade might I add and homemade vanilla ice cream.” The waiter said as he placed the plate on the table. “Thank you.” Y/n replied. “To be honest. I am flattered that you sort of told me about your feelings. I just see normal people as goldfish. But you, Y/n. You’re a special goldfish and you make me feel many things that I have never felt before.” Mycroft said after they tasted the brownie and ice cream.
“Are you able to handle me?” Y/n asked. “Oh, darling. Of course I am able to handle you.” Mycroft replied. “I would love to see you try, honey.” Y/n said as she took a sip of her wine. “Is everything alright here, sir?” The waiter asked as he walked up to the table. “Yes, everything is alright. Could I possible pay the receipt?” Mycroft asked. “Yes. Would you like for me to bring it to the table?” The waiter asked. “I’ll pay at the front.” Mycroft replied, before getting up from his seat and following the man. After a couple of minutes, Mycroft walked back to the table and sat back down. “Do I have to pay you back?” “Of course not. I don’t want you to pay me back, because I want to treat you.” Mycroft answered. “Do you want to go back to my house?” Y/n asked. “Lead the way, my darling.” They got up from their seats, before walking out of the restaurant and went back to Y/n’s house, which wasn’t far from where they ate. “Would you like to have a cuppa?” Y/n asked.
“No not really what I’m craving after that delightful dinner.” Mycroft replied. “What is it you are craving then, Mycroft?” Y/n asked as she watched him walk closer to her. “I think you can think about what I want.” Mycroft replied. She looked in his eyes, before he grabbed her waist and turned her and held her against the wall. “I think I can.” Y/n softly said. She grabbed his tie, before pulling him down and placed her lips on his as he held her close. “Will you make love to me?” Y/n asked as she pulled away from him.
“Lead the way to your bedroom, my dear.” Mycroft responded as she took off his tie, before leading him up the stairs and into her bedroom. She had already taken off his blazer and worked on the buttons of his shirt, when realising something. “You should wear anything but a three piece suit when you are going to get laid. It’s very restricting and very difficult to undress you.” Y/n said. “Well, I’ll keep it in mind for our next date.” Mycroft replied. “So, this is a date to you? I didn’t know you knew what that was.” Y/n replied with a slight smirk on her face. “I’ve been on a few dates before, you know. I’m not a virgin if that is what you are thinking.” Mycroft replied as he easily unzipped her dress and took off her bra. “I didn’t think you were.” Y/n replied, before she pushed him on the bed. “Now, lay back and enjoy.” Y/n said, as she leaned over him, and placed her lips on his again.
As they were kissing, Mycroft grabbed her waist and placed her on the bed, while leaning over her. “I’ll be taking the lead tonight, my darling.” Mycroft said as he looked in her eyes. He took off the rest of his clothes, before he took off her panties. He kissed her again, while lining his cock up at her entrance, before thrusting. “Oh, fuck, Mycroft.” Y/n moaned. She pulled him down and placed her lips on his as he kept thrusting inside of her and held her by her waist. She felt herself getting close, before Mycroft decided to rub her clit. She moaned louder. "Mhm feels so good, Mycroft." Y/n moaned as she felt herself getting close to her orgasm. "Come for me, my darling." Mycroft said and she came on his cock. His thrusts slowed down, before he came inside of her and pulled out. "That was good." Y/n said. "It was." Mycroft replied as he was laying down beside her. "I'm going to take a shower." Y/n said as she got up from the bed.
"Feel free to join me if you have catched your breath." She added. A couple of weeks went by and Y/n had kept her relationship with Mycroft, that happened right after the date, secret from Sherlock and her father. She walked out of her bedroom on a Monday after getting ready for work and found Mycroft in her kitchen. "Good morning, my darling. I made you coffee." Mycroft said as he looked at her, while holding Asher in his arms. "Thank you. Did Asher wake you up?" Y/n asked. "He didn't. But when I walked past his crib he was standing up and decided to get him ready and take him downstairs with me." Mycroft replied. "That's sweet." "Very sweet indeed. But also very disturbing. I never thought I would see my brother holding a child." Sherlock said as he had walked in the house. "Good morning to you too, Sherlock." "So what is my dear brother doing in your house in the morning, while holding my friend's child?" Sherlock asked.
"I have a feeling that your brother and Y/n are in a relationship. She seems happier." John said. "Wait, who's in a relationship?" Greg asked as he had walked in the house. "Your daughter and my brother." Sherlock replied. "Y/n? You and Mycroft." Greg asked. "Yes. But it is very recent." "We'll talk about it another day. Sherlock, I need your help on a case." Greg said. "Well, that could've been worse." Y/n said to Mycroft. "Yes. But I wonder what Greg would say or do." Mycroft said. "He won't kill you if that is what you are implying. Dad may seem like a bad guy, but he still cares about me." Y/n said. "Still. His precious daughter is dating a man that is as old as her father. I would want to know what the intentions would be." "Ah yes, I forgot that you were an old man." Y/n said. "What did you say?" Mycroft asked. "Nothing. Do you mind taking Asher to daycare? I will see you at work." Y/n said. "You are going to regret calling me old, young lady."
Mycroft said as she gave him a kiss. "Love you, Myc." Y/n said, before she walked out of the house. "Yeah, yeah. I love you too."
