Intro
It was another day in Shiz University that everything changed. Or that was Galinda thought when she woke up and landed her gaze on her roommate.
Dawn’s light was covering Elphaba’s green skin, making her shine in an emerald light as she was sleeping soundly. It was rare to Galinda to stare to her, but that morning she couldn’t help herself: Miss Elphaba was breathtaking under that light.
She looked so peaceful, so calm that the Gillikin girl didn’t noticed when her roommate was stretching.
“You’re staring.” Deadpaned, Elphaba cut off Galinda’s thoughs “My verdigris is annoying you so early in the morning?”
Galinda was unable to speak immediately. After a second or two, she got up of bed and “toss toss” her hair.
“Oh, of course not! I was wondering what kind of dreams would have an artichoke, that’s all” She dismissed as she began with her morning routine.
Galinda wasn’t dense. She knew exactly what kind of feelings she was having for her roommate. No, it wasn’t loathing neither any feeling close to it. It was the opposite.
Since she first saw Elphaba, she was in denial. She thought that maybe it was the surprise of her skin, but as the time passed, she couldn’t deny it. Not anymore.
Not only she liked Elphaba, she wanted her attention. Even if it means being mean to her in front of everyone, she wanted Elphaba’s gaze on her, only on her.
She landed in that conclussion that morning as she entered in the bathroom. She was determined to have what she wanted.
“The girl is mine.” she whispers to herself as she stepped out of the shower “But she doesn’t know it. Yet.”
