Summary
Lexa is a famous actress who has just died a famous movie death and is on vacation in Clarke's town. The latter is a doctor and lives a normal life, at least until she meets the contradictory Lexa. The story is translated by Deepl, because my own English is not sufficient for this. If something is not understandable, please let me know so I can adjust it. Thank you.

Chapter 3

"You met who?" Octavia's voice had jumped up 5 floors after Clarke had told her about her experience.

For the first time in a while, O` and Clarke had been on duty together at the hospital and had just been walking down the hall when the blonde had told her everything.

"I can`t believe it. You of all people." Eyes wide, O` stood before her. "If I didn't begrudge you, I'd be beastly jealous of you." The rapt expression disappeared from her face. "Only one thing I don`t understand, you actually just wanted to help her, yet her attitude towards you was very strange, and she doesn`t sound exactly uncomplicated."

O` made a thoughtful face. "Tell me, does she at least look as good as she did on the show?"

Clarke pinched her side.

"What? It would at least make up for the rest." She looked at the blonde with a sly grin and she laughed.

"That's not the most important thing, is it?" Clarke smirked and added a quiet, actually, she looks better.

Octavia held up one hand triumphantly. "I knew it!"

Clarke rolled his eyes at that, but then couldn't help a smirk at the end.

"Do you think you'll see each other again?" asked O` after a few minutes.

"I don`t see how. It was a coincidence, after all." The blonde shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you want to see her again, then?"

The question went unanswered as an attractive Latina in leg braces approached the two. A smile spread across the faces of the two female doctors.

A few weeks ago Clarke had operated on her brain and Octavia, who loved her job as a surgeon, the bloodier the better she always thought, had tried to patch up her leg.

The Latina had just been riding her motorcycle when she had passed a shooting, a bullet missed its target and landed in her hip instead, which is why she lost control of her machine and had such a serious accident. She was getting better at walking with the canes every day, but whether she would ever be able to get by without painkillers and walkers again was still unclear. Only time would tell. In the end, the most important thing was that she was still alive.

"Reyes," Octavia called out and a smile appeared on everyone's face.

"Up so early Raven?" teased Clarke, "It usually takes you a while to grace us in these hallowed halls."

The addressed woman screwed up her face. "Pff, sacred my ass. It stinks in here and there are creepy old men everywhere staring at you. Some in white and others in open nightgowns. Holy looks different to me."

The merciless honesty O` and Clarke both found refreshing, which is why a friendship had formed once Raven was released from the hospital and transferred to the rehab clinic next door.

The two couldn`t help but laugh, which earned them a few dirty looks all around.

"As usual, you cut to the chase."

Confidently, she looked at the two women.

"Of course, that's who I am and that's who I'm needed to be. Why change a gift from God."

"Are you sure you're a gift from God? Someone a floor lower would be more likely to come to mind."

When Raven then punched Octavia in the shoulder, the tentative laughter was over and everyone had to call themselves to order.

"We have to move on," Clarke said, "before we get in trouble because of you. After all, we have a reputation to lose."

Skeptically, the Latina looked at the two.

"What reputation? Well, it can't be a good one, I would know."

Shaking their heads and continuing to laugh, they took their leave while Raven smiled mischievously at them.

After a short break, the next emergencies came in and a long day became even longer.
