opposites
Summary
A two (possibly three) shot. "Thank you, Bianca. I hope it ends, if it ever considering your lover's immortality, happily for you." And with that, the girl stood up and walked away. Presumably out of the room, to her dorm. Bianca stared at her retreating figure before her soul came crashing back into her body. "What the....fuck?"
Note
I know, I know. Canonically, Yoko and Divina spend more time together and have a high chance of being a couple. But, hear me out!Bianca and Yoko. Yeah, I really just like the queen bee x idiot but with common sense troupe.

The day was almost over, the sun casting a warm orange instead of its scorching heat that was expected during the summer. Two students remained in the fencing class room, choosing to rest before cleaning up and heading to their respective dorms. They couldn't be any more opposite, yet their similarities were something to reckon.

Bianca stole a glance at the silent girl, wondering how she hasn't had a threat thrown her way. Perhaps, remaining silent is the way to a no-threat-of-physical-harm in the company of the psychic? She smiled in amusement at the thought. Unless of course you were a bubbly werewolf, that's the best option to make sure you'll have all limbs intact when in proximity of the shorter girl.

"I hadn't pegged you to be a moron to smile at nothing, Barclay," surprisingly, the raven broke the silence, "though it would not come as a surprise."

She rolled her eyes at the remark, already getting used to (huh) the goth's words, "Just thinking about my girlfriend's face, Addams. Unlike other people, some of us has something to smile about." There wasn't really any venom to her words either. They have reached the line of being not friends but not enemies either. Sort of, dare she say it, acquaintances? Bianca thought so.

Something flashed in the other girl's eyes, something Bianca couldn't quite catch, "Girlfriend?"

Oh. Right, this girl was as oblivious as a rock.

"Your roommate's best friend, Addams. Though Yoko and I aren't really the type to just randomly make out in public." The vampire had always teased her about it, saying it was worth their friend's exasperation and affectionate eye roll. She'd come to find out later that her girlfriend thought she wasn't good enough for her. Thankfully they managed to talk it through and Bianca would lean a little closer and leave cheek kisses whenever she can.

The look on the shorter girl's face was enough to make her snicker. Ah, there's the glare shot her way. "Enid didn't tell you? Considering she's the queen of gossip here, or so she says."

"No," Wednesday said slowly, as if realizing something, "Enid had not mentioned you and Tanaka are lovers. Despite the odd pairing, I congratulate you on having the sanity to choose willingly on spending time with that vampire for more than five minutes."

That...that was oddly affectionate? Granted, it was in her usual monotonous voice. Still, Wednesday Addams congratulating her? On her relationship no less? She must've needed more rest than she thought.

Taking the siren's silence as something positive, Wednesday scrunched up her nose, "Though I do wonder what made you like her in the first place."

It wasn't said in a harsh way, more of curiosity. Bianca rolled her eyes again, though she wasn't upset one bit. "Yoko and I are opposites. I like control, she likes living in the moment. No, no vampire puns," she could see the amusement in Wednesday eyes yet remained silent, "I'm competitive, she likes to just go with the flow. I'm hardheaded, she's patient. We couldn't be anymore different," she smiles fondly after, "Yet we complement each other. She reminds me I'm worthy even without doing anything that would normally make people think I'm worth something. She makes me feel loved on all my days. She makes me laugh, despite being teased every damn time. She saw through my walls and saw the cracks, the imperfections and insecurities. Yet she didn't want me to do better to hide them or get rid of them. She took me as I am, saying I am loved with everything I have, and everything I will have."

She didn't know who was more shocked. Wednesday who's eyes grew a fraction or her, because holy shit, Wednesday's eyes grew a fraction?! She didn't know what to say, and apparently so did the other girl. They just looked at each other for a moment before Wednesday broke the contact first. Which, again, was a first.

What the fuck was happening today?

Wednesday spoke again, albeit there was something... lighter...to her voice. "And you keep Tanaka anchored, whenever she feels like her life has no direction most especially with her being a vampire. You challenge her to be better but don't coerce her into becoming something she isn't. You are not easily swayed by her words, you want something concrete. She doesn't need to sweeten her words with you, because you don't do it either. You both...trust each other. Possibly, with your life."

Okay, she's definitely having a concussion. That was the longest Wednesday has ever said to her. That did not have any threat to her life. That didn't even have any biting remarks or sarcasm! Hell, she didn't even glare at her. God, was the world coming to an end soon?

"Uh..."

"And," apparently Wednesday was not yet done, "after you pointed out your reasons despite already claiming you two were such opposites it would be a miracle you would both work, I have come to my own realizations as well. While I despise other people doing favors for me, as I believe a favor will return in the near future, you have done it without my objections. Therefore..."

Wednesday took a breath, looking pained. As if the words were like chocolate in her mouth.

"Thank you, Bianca. I hope it ends, if it ever does considering your lover's immortality, happily for you."

And with that, the girl stood up and walked away. Presumably out of the room, to her dorm. Bianca stared at her retreating figure before her soul came crashing back into her body.

"What the....fuck?"
