Chapter 44
Dear Diary,
PROM!!!!!!!! I tried to think how to describe Willa’s dress that she surprised me with tonight, but words are not enough. When I saw her walk out of our room (I got dressed in Yoko’s) I almost fainted, my knees buckled and I had to sit down. She was a picture of beauty and I just couldn’t deal with it.
Willa was so worried and held me close until I had recovered but I could hear her heart beating as fast as it had ever done, her cheeks bright red when she got close. She doesn’t have to say anything, I know my dress was more than good enough for her. Sometimes words aren’t needed.
When we walked down the stairs EVERYONE stopped to watch us. I knew it was because of Willa but later she said it was because of me.I don’t think we could agree on that, but we did like the reaction anyway! She couldn’t keep her hands off me all night and was smiling ALL NIGHT, even to our friends.
Maybe love has changed her, or maybe it was just prom. Life does not get any better than this. I love her with all my heart, she is my one and only forever. xxxxx
