Chapter 2
"Keqing, would you like to get food with me after work?" Ganyu was stressing, she finally got the question out after building up the courage for hours.
Keqing seemed a little taken aback by the question but she was willing to, thank Rex, but she had phrased it in a way like it wasn't a date. Keqing did seem a little flustered so perhaps while at this point in time it was just something between friends or coworkers or whatever, the idea of a date seemed to have crossed her mind.
Finally, their work had ended and they started to head out. They decided on something casual, so they decided to just walk around Liyue harbour and try snacks from all the stalls. It had been a while since either of them had walked around the place for anything other than work related reasons. It was nice taking in the beauty of their nation for their own, personal reasons, and it was made even better that they had the company of eachother.
They talked for hours, going to each stall, eating snacks and buying little trinkets; eventually the conversation got back so what started Ganyu's little crush to begin with. Her status as an adepti.
Keqing was asking so many questions. For someone who cared so little, she sure was curious, but who wouldn't? She was one of the legendary beasts who helped Rex Lapis hundreds of years ago.
"Is transformation possible? I've read before that adepti can shape-shift to some degree? Is that why you are very humanoid and not fully goat? But you still have your horns?" That was an awkward question.
"I'm not very powerful, so I couldn't ever really get to how Cloud Retainer is at changing form, if I could I would definitely be fully human and not have these ugly horns, making me stick out so muc-"
"I think they're lovely."

"What?"
The pair stared at eachother.
Keqing blushed, "I mean, you don't have to be ashamed of them, they're beautiful, so are you, they don't make you the odd one out they make you who you are, and who you are is wonderful," Oh. Ganyu could feel herself bush now.
"You're a great asset to the team, work could never be done without you-" Oh. That's what she was talking about.
"I think we should start heading out now."
They said their goodbyes and left.
