Chapter 3,5
Saki came to love school.
Maybe because she hadn't gone to it in so long, but hanging out with Ichika and saying hi to Honami was all the fun she needed.
Plus, there were plenty of fun girls there.
It was sad that she had lost contact with Shiho, yeah, but all her fond memories with her were still in her brain.
That day Ichika hadn't gone to school.
Neither had Honami.
Or Minori, from the other classes.
…Or a lot of her upperclassmen.
Well, Saki hadn't gone to school for years until then, and it was getting cold…
Saki figured they were probably sick.
So she walked home, with no care in the world, planning to send some get better soon gifts the next day.
Arriving home, Saki noticed Tsukasa wasn't home.
"...? Is he still at PxL?"
Saki took her phone out of her backpack, dialing his number.
It went straight to voicemail.
Emu's number, maybe?
Saki was happy to hear a voice on the other side, assuming it was Emu's.
"Oh, hey Emu! Is Tsukasa still over there?"
A voice she didn't recognize spoke for Emu.
"Uhm… He's not here."
They sounded extremely uncomfortable.
"Oh. Where's Emu?"
The other side of the call went silent for a long time.
"She's dealing with her brothers… Goodbye."
Saki stared at the words "call ended" on her phone.
That's… Strange.
"Oh, yeah, I need to ask Ichi if she's okay!"
She sent her messages, called, but nothing went through.
Saki tried reaching out to anybody else about Tsukasa, but no one replied.
The same with Honami, nobody seemed to be there.
She had left her phone on the couch when suddenly, she heard its sound.
She ran towards it, picking up and answering whoever was calling.
"Hello?"
"Oh thank goodness you picked up, Saki…"
Toya's relieved voice rang through her phone's speaker.
"What's wrong? Have you seen Tsukasa?"
"Half my group is missing, Saki. Me and Asuzawa are trying to figure out what the hell is going on…"
"And if you can't find Tsukasa… Oh no don't tell me he's missing too..."
Toya hung up suddenly, leaving Saki with a text message that he'd call her back.
