Chapter 1
- Chapter One -

If you told George Davidson a month ago that he would be attending a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, then he would say you were out of your damn mind.
He was just a regular 11 year old boy days prior to this.
George got a letter explaining he will be attending a school of magic. At first he thought this was a prank from mean kids down the street.
But here he was, at his front door staring up at a very tall man who was asking him if he got that very letter.
The tall man apologized quickly for intruding and told George his name is Rubeus Hagrid.
The man, Hagrid, starts talking about serval different things that sounded unreal for George. George thought it sounded like he was speaking gibberish. He then thought it’s because he’s Scottish.
“Speaking of Hogwarts, we need to take ya to Diagon Alley for supplies” Hagrid muttered as he ducks his head to get into the house.
All George could do was stand there frozen, confused, and a little scared with a tall stranger in his house.
“Uh..” George managed to say, confused but he still shuts the door anyway.
“Right, yes sorry” Hagrid says with a bit of a laugh “You must be very confused but to answer your question, we need to go to get yer supplies, ye don't have much time.”
Hagrid stands up with a smile, but before he could say anything else George stops him. “Wait just a second,"
Hagrid stops and looks at George with a soft expression.
"First of all, why do you have to come in the middle of the night? Secondly, what do you mean I’m going to this place called ‘Hogwarts’?” George questioned.
Hagrid looks at him still with a reassuring smile, “Don’t ya worry, I’ll explain on the way!”

“I’m.. a what?!” George said more shocked than confused, his accent sounding more British than before.
“Yep.” Hagrid said shortly as they walk into what looks to be a café. “And you’re going to leave for Hogwarts tomorrow.”
George didn’t know what to say, he really didn’t. It’s like he couldn’t say anything. He stared at Hagrid, then stared at the ground for a good 5 seconds and then back at Hagrid.
“So what you’re saying is, I have to trust a complete stranger, go to this “magic” school AND leave everything behind?!”
George is now contemplating on whether he’s going insane or not. ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if I am at this point..’ he thought to himself.
"Right ya ar’!” The Scott said excitedly. “Ya even get to duel the nasty ol’ wizards like…” He began but his voice disappears, his pace slowing. Hagrid pauses then walks in front of a wall like nothing happened.
George just watches him, confused he says “Like who?” Hagrid looks at him with somewhat wide eyes, shakes his head and mumbles “shouldn’t ‘ave said that..”
The wizard takes his wand out of his pocket and places it on the brick wall. In a way George thought was random, and it was.
All of a sudden, the wall starts to magically separates revealing to what looks like an alley.
George looked around in awe and followed Hagrid as they went places he didn’t think were even real.
The magical alley, George would probably say town, looked like any other alley, except there were places that were selling wands and magical candy that could make someone fall in love or tell the truth.
A little while later George had all of his things and they were back in the café. He was excited but nervous to say the least.
New places wasn’t his specialty. Hagrid turns to look at the young wizard “Alrighty, looks like we got you everything. And ‘ere’s a little gift from me, as a ‘sorry for intruding yer home’”
George looks down to see a plant. “It’s a mushroom plant, I think they’re great. Minerva said they stank up the Great Hall but I don’t think it did..”
There was a moment or two of silence, then the older wizard spoke. “Welp,” He said looking around “I’ll see ya on the train.”
George nodded slowly, “Yep, see you..”
