Molly's Dreams
Molly was a very simple girl with very simple dreams, desires and wants. She did not have any interest in becoming a famous individual or growing strong or having rivals. It was not something that interested her, all she wanted was her family to be together. She missed her mommy and daddy a lot but there was nothing she could do about it, as her mommy and daddy's work were important. She sometimes wished her Mama and Papa were here with her instead, oh she knew, Ash and Gary were not her parents, she knew very well. But.... She couldn't help it, she felt safe and loved when she was with them, for as long as she could remember and she loved them back just as much. And she even had her Daddy back, she smiled looking at Entei who was giving her a ride.
Molly, "Do you think I can be a trainer Daddy?"
Entei, "You can become anyone or anything, you wish to be Molly."
Molly closed her eyes and wished to be a trainer and grinned, "I believe, I can Daddy."
Red looked around the place they were in, "This looks like..... "
Green, "That page from the book Gary used to read Molly."
Mewtwo, -Someone's coming.-
They looked at where Mewtwo was looking and saw a path way form out of thin air. As they watched, they saw Entei who entered through the pathway and landed infront of them with an older woman riding on his back. Red thought she looked familiar and wondered what she was doing here warily watching her.
Mewtwo whispered, -Not human.-
Yellow, "What?"
Molly grinned, "Hi Uncle Red and Uncle Green, Mama and Papa said, you are here to play with me."
Green looked at her, "Molly? When.. How did you? What happened to you?"
Molly grinned, "I wish to be bigger so I could become a trainer."
Molly twirled around, "I look like a trainer right?"
Gold looked at her, "You certainly do kid, now if you are a trainer, how about we have a battle?"
Molly got excited, "I would love to battle you as well. How do we do it? One on one or three on three?"
Gold looked at Red, Green and Yellow, "Three on three. I want to see what you can do kid."
Gold, "Let's go, Typholsion, be careful."
Molly, "I choose Teddiursa, let's start battling, begin with mega punch."
Gold wrinkled his eyebrows, "Flame wheel."
However Teddiursa defeated Typholsion very easily making Gold frown, he needed to buy time.
Gold, "Let's go, Togekiss, use fairy wind."
Molly giggles, "Let's go, Eevee, use copy cat."
Red got the message and started to move towards the open pathway pulling Yellow and Green along with him. Yellow watched as Typholsion and Togekiss made an appearance and fought against what looked like a crystallised Teddiursa and Eevee? She was gaping as she ran upwards towards the opening. The moment they reached the opening Yellow gaped again, infront of her was a beautiful sunny beach with red hibiscus growing on the shore.
Green, "She really recreated that book, Huh?"
Red frowned, "Let's keep moving."
They searched for an opening and found it and would have left but they heard a voice, "There you are! I beat Gold who will battle me next?"
Yellow looked at her, "Hi, I'm Yellow and I'm training to be a healer. I challenge you to a three on three battle."
Molly looked at her, "You look younger... So you can become a trainer when you are younger. Alright then."
Molly closed her eyes and made herself look younger, "What do you think?"
Yellow was surprised but didn't say it, "That was pretty impressive, Molly. I didn't know you could do that."
Molly giggles, "Let's battle."
Yellow looked at her two friends and looked meaningfully at the path, "Yeah, let's go Ratty and Pika."
Molly, "Yay! I choose Pikachu as well because mama loves Pikachu, he he he he he he."
Yellow looked at her dubiously, "Okay...."
Raticate and Pikachu looked at Yellow as if to say, if she was serious about this. Yellow breathes in before getting ready to battle. Mewtwo ushered the two towards the steps at the end of the field or room? He's pretty sure it was a room and they ran for it while Yellow handled the girl's strange apparition. Ash was humming a tune as he ran his hand through Molly's hair and leaned against Gary's shoulder.
Gary, "I hope the others get here soon."
Ash, "Me too, we cannot stay here."
Pikachu muttered, -I hope, they are okay.-
Eevee nodded, -Entei is strong.-
Red burst into the room before Ash could answer, "Ash! Gary!"
Green followed him, "Are you okay?"
Ash brightened, "RED! GREEN!"
Gary smiled, "You guys are okay. Thank goodness."
Red looked them over relieved they were unhurt, "We need to go."
Green, "Before the Unown notices us."
Ash, "Unown? They are the ones doing this."
Red nodded, "While coming here we saw a room where they were floating around. There is not much known about the Unown but it is a widely accepted fact that they can manipulate reality very easily. Wake her up, we need to leave."
Ash nodded grim, "Molly, Molly, wake up sweetheart."
Molly rubbed her eyes, "What is it mama?"
Ash looked at her seriously, "We need to run Molly."
Molly looked at Ash bewildered, "Run where mama?"
Gary, "Away from here sweet girl. We need to go."
Molly was reluctant, "But mama, papa, you just got here. And it's safe here I promise."
Gary huffed her, "We are not leaving you sweet girl but we need to go all of us. You cannot stay here not with the Unown creating trouble."
Molly looked at Gary, "What did the Unown do? They are my friends, they would not hurt anyone."
Red sighed as he bent down, "They did a few bad things.
1. They took advantage of a little girl's loneliness
2. Mind controlled Entei
3. Kidnapped people"
Green smiled at Molly as she finally noticed them, "Hello Molly, do you remember us?"
Molly nodded, "You are my Uncles."
Red smiled, "I'm happy you remember us Molly."
Molly blushed as she nodded, 'I'm not saying I forgot.'
Entei came in after that, -Molly.-
Molly brightened before she remembered what Red said, "Daddy, the Unown did something bad."
Entei, -I see, do you wish for me to stop them?-
Green, "We need to leave, I highly doubt we could stop them."
Molly, "But I don't want to leave, it's safe here, I promise."
Red, "I know you think it is safe but the power the Unown has is very unstable."
Molly, "But they are my friends they would not hurt anyone."
Gary, "Not intentionally."
Ash, "They would not but the thing about unstable power is that you cannot control it."
Molly, "But."
Entei at that moment interrupted them, -If Molly wants to stay here she may.-
Red, "You can't decide that Entei, you are not even in control of yourself."
Entei shot an attack at Red who dodged, -It is her wish.-
Red released Serperior, "No it is not, leaf storm."
Serperior attacked the legendary only for Entei to dodge. Molly gasped as she watched the two battle each other infront of them. Ash grabbed Molly and got them away from the fight.
Gary, "This is bad."
Green, "Very bad."
Ash turned Molly around, "Molly listen we need to stop the Unown, can you get Entei to stop? I will get your Uncle."
Molly, "Mama... "
Ash smiled, "Family don't fight each other Molly. Quarrel maybe but not fight."
Molly looked at Ash before nodding, "Daddy! Daddy stop."
Ash, "Red, we have a bigger problem. You can fight Entei later."
Red frowned at Entei as he stopped completely, 'That was strange.'
Mewtwo growled, 'It is mind control.'
Green, 'We need to fix this. This mind link is pretty neat.'
Red, 'Brag later.'
Green, 'Of course love ~'
Red got down and was hugged by Green, Gary and Ash while Molly hugged Entei and they heard two voices.
Gold, "There you guys are."
Yellow, "We were worried."
Gold, "Things are bad down there."
Yellow nodded, "It's becoming unstable."
Molly, "Daddy?"
Entei, -If you wish to leave Molly you may, remember it is your choice. It always has been.-
Molly teared up, "Daddy... I.. "
Before she could go any further the walls and ceilings started to crack and rumble dangerously. Ash looked around and grimaced and grabbed Molly close as Gary held them both close. Gold held on Typholsion while Yellow held Pika and Ratty close to her. Green was close to Ash, Gary and Molly while Red was held by Charizard who decided staying in air was the safest bet.
Gold, "The Unown has become unstable, I was worried about this."
Red, "Gold talk to me, what do you know about them?"
Gold, "This way first come on."
Yellow went after Gold followed by the others, Red on Charizard, Blue got his Rapidash and rode him with Gary, while Ash and Molly decided to get on Entei.
Green, "Gold, what can you tell us?"
Gold, "Well, from what I have observed from them after encountering them before, they are heavily dependant on a human's imagination, in this case, Molly's imagination. When Ash and Gary came here I'm guessing you slowly used your own abilities to break the connection between the Unown and Molly?"
Ash frowned, "We sensed something was latching on to her so yes we did. I didn't realize it was the Unown."
Gary grimaced, "If we had known we would probably have still done it but more carefully. It's too late now to change it, the connection is broken."
Green, "You are exhausted, both of you."
Ash gave a tired smile, "We'll be fine."
Molly looked at Ash worried, "You don't look good mama."
Ash hugged her, "I will be fine Molly, I promise."
Molly, "Okay, tell me if you need anything, okay mama?"
Ash smiled, "I will Molly."
Gold, "We are here, be careful."
Ash and the others nodded before slowly entering a room filled with angry red energy. Molly looked at the room with wide eyes, this was completely different from how they had been yesterday. She remembered yesterday night they were actually a cool blue colour and looked very friendly and sweet. Now, well now they scared her, they didn't look like her friends from yesterday at all and she wanted more than anything to leave this place.
Molly whimpers, "Mama?"
Ash hugged her, "I'm here Molly, it'll be alright, we'll fix this together."
Molly sniffled looking up at Ash, "I'm scared, they are not, they were not like this. They were nicer, I promise, but now they are scary."
Gary climbed up Entei and sat next to them, "That's because they are angry, we need to calm them down before they do something bad. That's what it means to being a good friend, you are there for them through the good and the bad. Making sure they don't do anything they will regret in the future."
Molly, "Really Papa?"
Gary nodded looking at Ash, "Yes, that's how Ash and I are close to each other, Molly, we keep each other balanced, we are best friends before we are anything else."
Molly looked between them, "Oh... I want someone like that too."
Yellow smiled at them, "She's a sweet child."
Yellow scowled turning to the sight in front of her, "It's too bad others take advantage of innocent children."
Gold sighed, "That's life for you, it's a bitch."
Red, "Come on we need to fix this... I think we are finally noticed."
Green, "Get their attention away from the three of them."
Yellow, "Right, Pika thunder wave."
Gold, "Typholsion heat blast."
Red, "Charizard dragon breath."
Green turned to Entei, "Protect them."
Entei just looked at him blankly before nodding, -I'm here for her.-
Green frowned, he didn't like the blank soulless look in the Fire Lord's eyes at all but he figured that's what happens when someone mind controls you. He certainly saw similar blank looks among the Pokemon who were being mind controlled by Team Rocket before. He gritted his teeth thinking about it, poor Harvey was just not the same after watching his partner listen to Team Rocket grunts like a puppet. Red held his hand looking at him worriedly, Green breathed in and smirked at him before turning to their problem at hand and nodding.
