Journey
Soon before anyone knew it another year passed and Red and Green left for their Pokemon journeys. Green had decided to journey through Jhoto region while Red decided to go through Kanto. They had both turned fifteen by the time their Journeys started and much to no one's surprise took the gyms by storm. Half way through the journey Red had come across a very curious Pokemon called Mewtwo who had started to follow him from the shadows.
Red, "Let's train guys!"
Charizard, -Yes!-
Lucario, -Yes Pappy.-
Primeape, -We are gonna win this League.-
Pikachu, -Battle maniacs
Serperior, -Calm down you lot.-
Pidgeot chuckled, -Lively group, I don't regret joining at all.-
Unknown to them they were being watched by a being who had just escaped from the labs. He watched as the trainer, Red was it put up a barrier around the training fields while explaining to the Pokemon how they would train for their third gym battle which was against Surge. He was a curious human, the being amended, he had started following the trainer after he came to the Cerulean cove. He had thought that the human had gone to catch him but instead had gone off searching for some very curious items, explaining the uses to the young female Lucario who called him father. What? He even talked to the Pokemon as if he understood them and at one point he wondered if he was human. His curiosity grew bigger when he saw the trainer use power, a type of power he did not know about and his curiosity finally ate at him and forced him to leave the cove five days after the trainer had left. Now, here he was watching them train again, sometimes the trainer would train with his powers but most of the time used it to heal his Pokemon's injuries.
Red mumbled, "They are watching us again, aren't they?"
Serperior nodded, -Yes!-
Charizard, -Do you want me to bring them over?-
Red shook his head, "Let them be, I'll just put a plate of food and bowl of water for them. Besides they are not causing us trouble now, are they?"
Lucario nodded, -Okay Pappy.-
After a month of being followed Red had been approached by a large Venasaur who had felt his aura. The old Venasaur wanted to invite the Aura user to the Mysterious Garden to help him choose the next leader and to protect them. Red had been surprised at the invite but readily agreed to it understanding the final evolution's worry. Red had gone with the Venasaur and spread his Pokemon around the Garden covering every entry point while using his aura to keep connected with them.
Red, "Don't worry big guy, we got your back. I even called a friend for help."
Riley, "We are here."
Alain was smiling, "Red!"
Venasaur nodded, "Saur."
Red, "Don't thank us yet. We still have a job to do."
Alain, "I have Charmander, Metang and Seadra spread out by the river."
Riley, "Milotic is by the river, Lucario, Houndoom, Persian and Fearrow are around the field."
Venasaur moved to the large tree in the middle and gave a roar and many Bulbasaurs and Ivysaurs started to come to the garden along with four Venasaurs. The oldest Venasaur gave a nod and the four younger Venasaurs started the ritual by releasing sweet scent that relaxed the tired young Pokemon. After that they started to roar, getting answering roars from the Pokemon around them before they started to release their auras to the world around them. The three humans watched in awe as the Pokemon started to shine and evolve one by one. It was a breathtaking sight. Mewtwo watched the evolution in wonder as it was the first time he had seen such a beautiful sight. At the lab that man would always keep him locked up never letting him communicate with others, Pokemon or human. In fact even humans looked terrified of that man and kept their heads down and never went against him. He didn't know the world could be so beautiful. However this was interrupted by seven people, four were part of Team Rocket while the other three were poachers.
Red, "Alain, mask."
Alain nodded and put the mask on, "Charmander, Metang and Kingdra, defense formation."
Riley, "Lucario, Milotic, Houndoom, Granbull, bring those Pokemon down."
Red, "Lord Venasaur, get your younger ones ready to battle. I fear if they don't, they will not walk out alive."
Venasaur nodded, "SAUR!"
The young Ivysaurs and Venasaurs responded in kind and what followed was an intense battle between the grunts, poachers against the three Guardians and Pokemon. The Executive however looked at the three of them with a crazy glint and ordered the others to capture the Guardians as well. The three of them were to be taken alive for the scientist to study them. Alain looked at them disgusted by their thoughts and to say Mewtwo became furious was a big understatement.
Mewtwo, -You will do no such thing, Team Rocket.-
Red, "Ah! It's you."
Riley whispered, "Your stalker?"
Red nodded, "I didn't expect him to help us."
Alain, "He must like you."
Mewtwo on the other hand single handedly fought against Team Rocket much to everyone's bewilderment before he broke all the pokeballs Team Rocket had. Some Pokemon stayed, while others thanked him and left their so called owners behind to their mercy.
Mewtwo, -Executive Thomas, I will enjoy eliminating you.-
Red, "Wait, we need him alive to know where the others are hiding."
Mewtwo, -He had disgusting intentions towards you. Do you really want to keep him alive?-
Alain, "I.. We know, we could read his thoughts easily but we need to know where the others are first."
Riley, "After we know, you may kill him, we will not stop you."
Mewtwo gave a feral grin and knocked the bastards out and the ceremony continued as if it was not interrupted in the first place. Mewtwo had taken to following Red openly after that asking him questions after questions about his powers, abilities and skills. Red had answered the genetic Pokemon honestly and even let him enter his mind and see some of the things instead, mostly at night while they were asleep. Mewtwo spent half the time in silent contemplation after such sessions and half in wonder. He had always been curious about his ancestor Mew, he didn't expect someone would steal his bones and try to clone him. Red insisted he should have been born a Mew but humans stole him, before it was the right time to be born.
Mewtwo, -What do I do now?-
Red, "Do you want to come with us? I can't promise I'll have all answers, but I know Mew can help you. He always comes to check in on me once a month."
Mewtwo, -I stole this pokeball before I left. It was created to capture me. I want to destroy it but I... -
Red nodded, "I understand, I'll keep it safe."
Mewtwo gave a small smile, -Thank you.-
Green on the other hand was traveling through the Jhoto region and was joined by Gold who was a year younger than him and couldn't officially start his journey yet. Gold had insisted on joining Green in his journey much to the older boy's amusement and the two had gone through the region together. Half way through the journey a problem occurred at Greenfields. Molly's parents had gone missing and Ash and Gary along with Delia and Professor Oak had come to investigate and search for the little girl.
Gold, "Ash, Gary, look at you two. Ten years old already, just a few years more and you will be going on your journey."
Ash brightened, "Gold? Long time no see."
Gary, "How have you been Gold?"
Gold grinned, "I'm doing great, and accompanying your big brother through Jhoto."
Delia, "How have you been dear?"
Samuel, "Son, you look well."
Green smiled, "I'm doing great Aunt Lia, Gramps, no sign of Molly however."
Delia greeted looking at the field, "It's very worrying, isn't it?"
Ash, "Will Molly be okay?"
Gary, "She has to be."
A news reporter was reporting them and the situation live for everyone to watch as they moved to get lunch at one of the out houses. The Professor explained their relationship with the Hales, they were cousins to the Ketchums and very close trusted friends of the Oaks. He explained how Professor Hale was researching the origins of the Unknown and whether or not they were real Pokemon or something else. Half way through the lunch they were interrupted by a large quadrupled Pokemon.
Gold, "That's an Entei."
Green, "Don't tell me Entei is the cause of this problem."
Entei ignored them and turned to Ash and Gary, -You are Molly's Papa and Mama. You will come with me.-
Ash's eyes went blank, "Where is Molly?"
Gary's as well although his eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, "Take us to our daughter?"
Entei roared to knock the Pokemon and humans down before grabbing the two boys and running towards the crystal formation at a very high speed. Pikachu and Eevee grabbed on to Entei's tail, questioning him why he was taking their partners and what has he done to Molly. Entei ignored their questions and rushed to the crystal formation and entered the dome.
Green ran after them, "Ash! Gary! Delphox!"
Delphox, -Put the children down.-
Delphox attacked but her attacks were stopped by crystals, -What?-
Gold grabbed Green, "Green no! You saw what happened to the plants touched by the crystal."
Green punched the ground, "Not again dammit."
Gold, "Calm down, Pikachu and Eevee are with them."
Pikachu and Eevee looked around wide eyed and looked at each other before buckling down as the Fire Lord jumped higher and higher till he reached a room where a little girl was waiting.
Pikachu, -Molly?-
Eevee, -At least, she is okay.-
Molly was smiling brightly, "Daddy, you brought Mama and Papa to me."
Pikachu sweatdropped, -I had forgotten she has that habit.-
Eevee, -What do we do?-
Pikachu watched as Ash and Gary were laid on the bed, -We stay with our partners.-
Ash woke up with empty eyes making Pikachu worried, "Where am I? What happened?"
Molly, "Mama you are awake."
Ash, "Molly? Is that you?"
Gary woke up as well, "What's going on? Why does my head hurt?"
Molly, "Papa you woke up too."
Gary, "Molly? I was so worried."
Molly hugged them, "Mama, Papa we are together now with Daddy."
Red meanwhile was rushing to Jhoto and landed outside Greenfields on his Charizard, "Mom, Green, Professor."
Samuel, "Red you are here. Of course you would be."
Green looked frustrated with Gold holding on to him, "Hey Red. Would you let go already?"
Gold, "No you'll just run off again."
Delia was crying, "Red, oh, my baby was just kidnapped. Your baby brother was just taken and I could do nothing."
Yellow joined them with Mewtwo, "Red, wait up! You are fast! Hiya Green, Gold, been a while."
Gold, "Sup Y!"
Red, "Mom calm down, we'll think of something. Gold get off of Green, we need to plan."
Gold gave a grin, "So what's the plan?"
Red, "I have noticed the water is unaffected, if we follow that inside then."
Green, "That might work, let's plan and go get our brothers back."
Delia, "Red, be careful, sweetheart. Come back to me okay?"
Red nodded, "We will mom. Just wait for us."
The four teens left towards the crystal formation following the waterways which seem to come from the river which flowed through the Hale estate, which Mewtwo confirmed was unwatched. Red looked up and used Serperior to climb up the crystal formation followed by Green, Yellow and finally Gold who gushed over the serpent grass type. Serperior just looked at him amused by his excitement and pat his head with one of her vines making Mewtwo look at them in amusement. They were being shown on the news and when Ash and Gary saw them both of them snapped out of their trance.
Ash, "What Red?"
Gary, "Green! What are you doing?"
Molly, "Mama, Papa what's wrong?"
Ash, "That's your Uncle."
Gary, "Two Uncles."
Molly brightened up, "Uncle? I want to play with them."
Entei, -You can do whatever you wish.-
Ash and Gary watched as Entei left the three of them and Molly fell asleep on their laps. Ash rubbed Molly's hair as she slept soundly and looked at Gary helplessly. Pikachu and Eevee nuzzled them before clicking on Charmander and Litten's pokeballs and releasing them. The two Fire types looked around before Pikachu and Eevee explained what was happening with them. To say they were surprised were an understatement, this was a truly strange behavior on the Fire Lord's part. He was a lot of things but a kidnapper was definitely not one of them. The four Pokemon settled themselves around the three humans as they wondered what would happen next.
