Pokemon Wizard - The Beginning

Green sat at the lunch table eating his food as he chatted with Ash, Gary and Lisa. He could feel the jealous glare coming across the lunch hall from their target. No doubt he recognized the Charmander by his side by now and the little one feeling the glare shivered and stayed very close to Green. Lisa sat next to Green hiding Charmander from the other's view and always smiling and patting the young fire type. To say Damien was furious was an understatement, he sat at his table gritting his teeth.

Damien, 'That useless thing, how dare she turn her back on me.'

Ash got closer to Gary and whispered, "I don't like how he is staring this way, Gary. I don't like it."

Gary put his arm around Ash and glared at Damien who didn't notice him as he was busy glaring at Green and Charmander. Gary was for the second time in his life furious, that guy was making his family uncomfortable. Poor Charmander was shivering from fear, despite Green and Delphox trying to calm her down and Ash he realized was sensitive to people's emotions, could no doubt feel the bad in Damien.

Gary kissed Ash's forehead, "It'll be okay, Ash. Green will kick his ass soon. You will see."

Professor Sycamore joined them, "Hi there kids, I want you to meet someone. This is Professor Kukui, the regional Professor of the Alola region."

Kukui grinned brightly, "Alola everyone ~"

Ash blurted, "Hot Professor!"

Gary at the same time, "Sexy Professor!"

The two blushed when they realized what they had said making everyone laugh. Green shook his head at the two, they literally had no filter, whatsoever in their mouths. Pikachu and Eevee sighed while Litten perked up at the mention of Alola. It had been too long since he met someone from his home region. He had been a newborn when his breeder had traded him for a newborn Magby. It was strange, the Cinnabar island yet, he didn't mind it. He met Gary after all and his new pack.

Kukui laughed, "Thank you kids, you are very adorable yourselves."

Augustine gave them an exasperated look, "Alain was not exaggerating when he said you didn't have any mouth filter."

Green gave a mischievous smile, "So what brings you here Professor? Are you running from paperwork?"

Lisa, "Alola region? I have heard of that region. They have island challenges there, don't they? Instead of gym battles."

Kukui nodded laughing, "Correct to both and I'm planning to open a Championship based on the challenges."

Green, "Ah, you are here for sponsors then."

Ash, "I'm sure you can do it Professor Kukui."

Gary, "Yeah! Work hard!"

Kukui smiled at the two, "Thank you kids. Now my friend here told me about your predicament. And I have an idea that might help."

Green looked serious as he took out his rune and placed it on the table, "Really? I'm all ears."

Kukui grinned, "Since, I'm here looking for sponsors and encouraging the idea of Championship in Alola to my students, how about I make an announcement for a six on six battle."

Green looked contemplative before nodding, "He has only been using three Pokemon so far. Six on six will force him to use more than three Pokemon. He won't be able to hide it."

Kukui, "After the battle we can offer to heal both your Pokemon. He would have to agree to them being checked if you agree to it."

Green, "And we would have it in record, yes this could work."

Augustine, "Lance has already been informed of the plan so he'll help out as well."

Ash, "I hope this works. Charmander didn't deserve to be treated the way she was."

Gary nodded, "She's an angel."

Augustine smiled, "Don't worry kids, we'll fix this mess."

Soon it was time to battle and everyone returned to the battlefield that was located on the ship. The announcer gave the customary greeting and welcomed everyone back before turning to introduce Professor Kukui.

Kukui, "Alola everyone! I must say the battles have my blood boiling and pumped up for more. Are you all enjoying yourselves?"

The crowd cheered and Kukui continued, "I have a proposal, instead of the three on three that was planned how about we have a six on six battle."

The crowd was quite before they cheered and agreed loudly, Kukui turned to the two, "What do you battlers say?"

Green, "Sure! My Pokemon are all itching to battle. Having a six on six will give them all a chance."

Damien was reluctant, "I don't know."

The crowd booed and Lance joined them, "Come now, this is for fun and besides I promise to personally go and get your hurt Pokemon checked by myself."

Damien knew he couldn't back down without looking weak and his pride would not let him, 'I'll take him out with my two Pokemon and perhaps even get the three cuties with him.'

Damien, "Fine under one condition."

Green looked at him suspiciously, "And what condition is that?"

Damien, "If I win, your girlfriend has to agree to be mine, and the two cuties with you will have to come with me."

Green looked at him like he grew another second head before getting pissed off realising who he was talking about, "For your information they are my siblings. You got some balls talking about them that way in front of me boy."

Damien spluttered in embarrassment and many frowned at him. A lot of people in the audience had siblings themselves and didn't like where this was going. The women were looking at Damien with anger, especially when they realized Damien was talking about the two adorable children that Green was with. They were not objects, thank you.

Damien, "That's fine, I'll beat you and get your sister as my girlfriend and the two cute ones that are with her too."

Lance was blank faced, "Is that so?"

Kukui looked at Damien disturbed, "Are you sure?"

Damien, "Either that or we don't."

Green was filled with rage but took a deep breath, "Let's go Wartotle."

Damien smirked, "Magnezone let's do this."

Ash frowned seeing the Magnezone, it looked exhausted and empty. He turned to Gary who was also frowning looking at the Pokemon worriedly. It seems Charmander was not the only Pokemon suffering at Damien's hands. The announcer gave the signal to begin the battle.

Referee, "Let the battle begin."

Damien, "Thunderbolt!"

Green, "Withdraw!"

Wartotle with drew into the shell as the electric attack hit the shell passing harmlessly through in to the battle ground. The shell Pokemon came out looking smugly at Damien, he knew what the bastard did, Green and Delphox had told them everything through the psychic link they had. To say they were all furious was an understatement, he wouldn't let him win.

Damien, "What? How?"

Green, "Hydro pump!"

Wartotle released a powerful hydro pump which hit Magnezone face first making it cry out in surprise. Green looked at Damien contemplatively, looks like the other teen was used to winning his battles in one shot. It gave rise to many questions about his capabilities on being a trainer. He hated Damien more and more, was being a trainer a joke to him?

Damien, "Magnezone don't just stand there. Fight back using thunder wave."

Green, "Wartotle, reflect dome followed by scald and skull bash!"

The thunder wave move but the dome but didn't touch Wartotle who was sitting relaxed under it. Wartotle hit the electric type with really hot water that had him crying out in pain, the shell Pokemon followed it up by skull bash that knocked Magnezone right out of the battlefield unconscious.

Referee, "Magnezone is unable to battle, Wartotle wins the match. Trainer Damien choose your next Pokemon."

Green smirked hugging Wartotle, "Great job buddy."

Wartotle looked at Green before he started to glow and become bigger and bigger. The next thing anyone knew there was a Blastoise larger than normal standing beside Green looking smug.

Green hugged Blastoise, "You did it. You evolved, congratulations Buddy."

Ash, "Congratulations."

Gary, "You did it."

Lisa, "That was amazing."

Blastoise, -I want to battle him.-

Green rubbed the shell Pokemon's cheek, "One more battle then, we promised the others a chance too."

Blastoise nodded, -Yes.-

Damien glared at his opponent, even though he now knew they were siblings, he couldn't help but hate it when the three cheered for him, "Let's go Nidoking."

Green, "Blastoise show them who's boss."

Referee, "Begin!"

Damien, "Poison sting."

Green, "Water pulse!"

Blastoise released a large water pulse which was very powerful that it overpowered poison sting and hit Nidoking. The poison Pokemon roared in pain and was pushed back making Damien's look at Blastoise in fear and want. He had no idea a Blastoise could do that.

Damien, "Get up Nidoking, use hyper beam."

Green, "Blastoise get ready to send it back reflect mirror followed by hydro pump!"

Blastoise nodded and prepared a combo of mirror reflect, Nidoking released a powerful hyper beam but instead of hitting Blastoise it was returned to Nidoking and hit him hard. Blastoise followed that up with hydro pump that knocked Nidoking out of the battle!

Referee, "Nidoking is unable to battle! Blastoise is the winner."

Green hugged Blastoise, "You were amazing and your attacks have become so powerful. We'll have to relearn the controls but nothing a good training session can't fix."

Steven was talking to Lance, "I can see why you have him pegged as an Elite already despite the fact he has not even started his journey."

Lance, "He is an exceptional trainer and being an apprentice to Sabrina no doubt helps."

Kukui looked surprised, "He has not even started yet and he is already this strong? What do you feed your kids?"

Sabrina gave a wry smile, "Normal food believe me, Green is just gifted and blessed by Mew themselves."

The other Gym leaders and Champions from the other regions nodded not realizing how literal Sabrina was actually being. Lance gave her a smirk which Sabrina returned before turning back to the match. Blastoise had joined Ash and Gary, and sat next to them to watch the battle. Lance noticed the glare the Kanto starter legendary was sending towards Damien and he had no doubts the Pokemon had heard his words from earlier. Ash and Gary, bless their innocence, looked at little confused at the protective stance the Pokemon had infront of him.

Lance, 'I don't blame Blastoise for being protective.'

Damien, "Let's go Combusken."

Green, "Time to shine Delphox."

Referee, "Begin!"

Damien, "Flamethrower."

Green, "Mystical fire followed by psybeam."

The mystical fire cancelled the flamethrower out, however before Combusken could blink he was hit by psybeam.

Damien gritted his teeth, "Mega punch."

Green, "Hypnosis, followed by rain dance."

Delphox caught the younger fire type in hypnosis before drenching him in rain.

Damien, "Combusken don't just stand there, use fire blast."

Green, "Finish this hyper beam."

Before Combusken could recover enough strength to use fire blast, Delphox hit him with hyper beam knocking him out.

Referee, "Combusken is unable to battle Delphox is the winner. Trainer Damien choose your next Pokemon."

Damien snarled as he returned his third Pokemon, "Let's go Gloom."

Green, "Pidgeotto let's do this."

Referee, "Begin!"

Green, "Aerial ace."

Damien, "Magical leaf."

Green, "Agility."

Delphox stood by Green's side looking regal and protective as she watched Pidgeotto use agility to dodge the leaves and hit Gloom with the aerial ace. She frowned looking at Damien's expression, he was planning some bad things, she just knew it.

Green, "Steel wing."

Pidgeotto used steel wing on the fallen Gloom that didn't even look like she wanted to battle and hit her. Ash winced at the resounding thud that occurred when Gloom hit the floor unconscious. He and Gary had to keep Charmander from running into the battlefield to her friend. If she ran into the field now, there was no telling what Damien would do.

Referee, "Gloom is unable to battle. Trainer Damien choose your fifth Pokemon."

Damien glared at Gloom's pokeball before choosing his fifth Pokemon, "Let's go Pinsir."

Green, "Pidgeotto?"

Pidgeotto, -I'm close. I can feel it.-

Green nodded, "Alright!"

Referee, "Begin!"

Damien, "Pinsir hyper beam."

Green, "Hyper beam full power."

The two Pokemon used hyper beam and it was very easy to see who was stronger. The trainers who were beaten by Damien looked at him suspiciously. His first two Pokemon were powerful however after the third. Pidgeotto overpowered Pinsir soon enough and hit her with hyper beam making her faint.

Referee, "Pinsir is unable to battle. Trainer Damien choose your last Pokemon."

Damien, "Let's go Growlithe!"

Gary gasped seeing Growlithe's condition, the poor puppy was thin and his fur looked like a mess. Damien however did not notice the looks of shock he was getting. Even Pidgeotto was looking at him disgusted, she didn't want to hurt the pup more than necessary and decided to end this quickly. She looked at Green while understood what she wanted to do.

Referee, "Be... Begin!"

Damien, "Flamethrower."

Green, "Steel ace."

Pidgeotto used aerial ace to dodge the attack before going in with a steel wing and hitting Growlithe. The poor pup didn't stand a chance and was knocked out really quick. Lance was looking at Damien darkly but quickly schooled his expression.

Referee, "Growlithe is unable to battle, Green is the winner of this tournament."

Pidgeotto started to glow and grow, she evolved into a Pidgeot. She flew to Green and nuzzled him happily, they were joined by Charmander who was looking at Pidgeot in awe. Pidgeot looked at the young fire type gently and nuzzled her.

The crowd cheered as Lance approached the two, "Now then as promised allow me to take your Pokemon to heal."

Green smiled, "Thank you Lance, we appreciated it."

Damien didn't want to but knew it would look suspicious and went with them to get his Pokemon checked. The drama that followed was something Green would remember for a long time, who knew Lance was such a great actor. The Dragon Champion had acted furious when he learned about the abuse really well and convinced the crowd of Damien's wrong doings.

Lance, "What is the meaning of this trainer Damien?"

Damien, "I... I.. "

Lance, "How dare you abuse Pokemon!"

Damien had paled as Nurse Joy confirmed Lance's accusations and disappointment in him making everyone present to look at him in disgust. Lance even used this as an opportunity to put into effect the new protection laws the League had come up with into effect affective immediately. The authorities soon came and arrested Damien and put him in a holding cell in the ship and his license suspended permanently.
