Becky
Months go by and I was able to finish my 3rd year in high school. I was able to survive my 1st year studying here in Thailand. During those months, a lot of things has happened. My baby sister was born, we named her Emily. She has the cutest grin even though she's only a few months old. I was also able to make new friends, thanks to P'Nam introducing me to some of the members of the music club.
"You're sleeping here again." P'nam said as she stood beside the bench where I'm sleeping. I rubbed my eye as I sit up. "P'Nam, when did you arrive?" I asked then I noticed two other students beside her. "That's because you've been sleeping soundly, you don't even notice me calling you earlier. Why do you even like sleeping here" You won't even understand even if I tell you, I thought but didn't dare to say it out loud. They might think I'm weird.
"By the way, Becky, this is Nop and Kade, they are also members of the music club." She continued.
Who would have thought that I will last this long. Even my parents are surprised that I was able to adjust just fine.
And yet, my mind still wonders how is P'Freen right now. I know we were not close. I was only a fan who used to listen to her during my free time.
I stood in front of the music room where she used to practice. Irin told me that they are going to hold an audition in the music club for new members. I decided that today I'm going to give it a try.
A few days ago
"Are you sure that you want to be a part of the music club?" my mom asked during dinner. "Yes. I want to try it." I answered.
"I always knew you have a good voice, but I know you as the athletic type. Even in England, you used to play soccer." my older brother, Richie said.
"It's okay, Becky. Whatever it is that you want to do, I will always support you as long as it makes you happy." My mom said as she patted my head.
It is true that I am always the athletic type. I like sports a lot. I used to play soccer with my brother when we were young. That is also how I entered the soccer team when I was in primary school.
But now...
I started to appreciate music more. It's why I decided to join the music club when Irin told me there is an opening for new club members. I want to show how grateful I am that music is the reason why I was able to make it through here in Thailand.
And also, because with music, I am hoping that I will be able to meet her again...
"Becky!" I looked back and saw Irin running towards me. She is carrying her acoustic guitar with her. "Where have you been? I have been waiting for you." I asked. "Sorry, I have some errand to do earlier." Irin said as she catch her breath.
"Becky and Irin, you're next." Nop called. "Let's go." I said. We both entered and saw P'Nam and P'Tee sitting beside Kade. Nop joined them shortly. "You may start when you are ready." Kade said.
I looked at Irin and nodded, signaling that we can start now. Irin started playing her guitar.

Chapter Epilogue
"Do you remember this kid who used to pretend to sleep to listen to you sing? " P'Nam said during the video call with Freen who was silently watching Becky sing during the audition for the music club. A faint smile formed on her lips as she listened to her sing. P'nam switched the camera so it is facing her. "What do you think about her?" Freen signed "Good." She pulled out her notebook and wrote. "Thank you for updating me about school. I will see you soon."
