found it in silence
The next day, they continue enjoying New York. They went to art galleries and visited some designers. They went to famous food places and ate good food. They stopped to take pictures with fans when they approach them.
But Beatrice’s favorite moment is the two them under a huge tree in the courtyard of the hotel they are staying in. She’s sitting on the ground, leaning on the tree trunk reading her book and Ava has her head on her lap, reading the latest draft of Jordan Peele’s script that she got before they flew. She didn’t notice that Ava has fallen asleep, hugging the script. Beatrice softly caresses her face. “How did I get so lucky?” she says to herself.
Her phone vibrates in her pocket. She takes it out carefully so Ava won’t be disturbed. “Hello?” she quietly asks.
“Hi, Bea!” Camila is very chirpy.
“I guess you have good news?” Bea smiles in anticipation.
“Oh, yes,” Camila tells her. “Jodie said yes. And I just got word from Sandra Oh’s agent that she’s very much interested.”
“That’s good news indeed,” Beatrice beams.
“Okay, so I looked into your schedule,” Camila says. “Jodie is in New York until June. Sandra will be shooting a film in Toronto around that time.”
“Where am I again that time?” Beatrice asks.
“Tennessee and Pennsylvania,” Camila answers.
“I have the general idea of the plot but I still need to write it,” Beatrice says. “I would need to finish it so we can figure out the location.”
“Alright, knowing you, by the end of this coming week, you’ll have it done. Before you start tour,” Camila says. “I’ll tell them the details will be sent to them this coming week.”
“Please do,” Beatrice says. “Thanks, Cam.”
“How’s New York?”
“Fun,” Beatrice smiles.
“Good,” Camila tells her. “You and Ava needed that break.”
“Yes,” Beatrice says. She feels Ava stirring. “Thanks again, Cam. See you tomorrow.”
“Bye.”
“Bea?”
“Yes, my love?”
“Gosh, I fell asleep,” Ava sleepily says. “Why didn’t you wake me? Your legs must have fallen asleep.”
“You looked so peaceful,” Beatrice says.
“It’s getting late,” Ava notices. “Let’s go back to our room?”
“Okay,” Beatrice says. Ava stands up and pulls her up. They walk hand in hand back to their hotel room.
HOLLYWOOD SCOOP!
AVA SILVA AND BEATRICEYOUNG ENJOY A
CHILL WEEKEND IN NEW YORK
Lovers Ava Silva and Beatrice Young were spotted in New York City this weekend having a blast. The two were spotted by paparazzi and fans walking the streets of New York. It seems like they are both making the most of the time they have with each other before Young starts tour next weekend.
The two were spotted at the Prima Facie. Sources said that they even met with Jodie Comer backstage. They were also spotted tasting food at famous spots in the city.
But probably our favorite photo is from a fan that was staying at the same hotel as them that captured them lying under a tree while reading. How cute are they?
youngsilvanation: how dare you after you trashed Ava’s image just a few days ago
silvasilvasilva: I want to love the picture but it’s worse than paparazzi ones. They are having a private moment and you just invaded it
avatricetruer: remember when Beatrice made up a fake band so Look What You Made Me Do was used in Killing Eve LMAO good times
youngsilva: do you know that they probably went to New York to chill because of your stupid asses writing shit about Ava???
qweenbeatrice: Glad that Bea got to relax with her love before tour starts! See you!
notmichael: wish I was in New York too eating bagels, cheesecake and pizza too
joannecandles: I met them at Central Park! They were so nice especially Ava. I don’t believe the write-up that she has an attitude at all.
mayalandicho: Never in a million years would I thought that I would meet two of my favorite celebrities while I am on a work trip! I may not have the money to watch the concert but at least I got to meet them in the flesh and have a pic with them. Nicest celebrities I met!
misseyaaaa: Saw them walking on the street and they looked so cute! I wanted to approach them but I don’t want to disturb them because they were eating bagels.
lyratech: don’t believe any bad write up about these two, dudes. they are so nice. i meet a lot of celebs because of work but they are by far the nicest.
avatricenation: it warms our heart reading all the nice comments about avatrice!!!
Ava and Beatrice were walking to the hotel's restaurant, animatedly talking and laughing when they bumped into someone.
“Oh, shit, I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking at where I was- Ava!” JC exclaims, his eyes as big as saucers.
“JC!” Ava smiles and hugs him. “Nice to see you!”
“You too,” he takes a deep breath. “Sorry, I was searching for something in my bag while walking. Bad idea.”
“It’s okay,” Beatrice smiles. “Are you staying here?”
“No, I was supposed to have a meeting here with someone, but they cancelled last minute,” he shrugs.
“Come and join us for dinner,” Beatrice suggests.
“Uh…” he glances at Ava before looking back at Beatrice.
“Come on,” Ava grins.
“Sure,” JC smiles back.
They were led to a private booth. JC sat across from the two. They silently looked at the menu for about a minute or two and ordered.
“Don’t be weird,” Ava tells him. “It’s just us. We have spent time together in the past.”
“It’s just that…” JC pauses for a moment. “You look different. You look so happy. I’ve never seen you this way.”
“Ah,” Ava breathes.
“It’s just an observation, nothing else,” JC quickly says. “You two look great together.”
“Thank you,” Ava says. “You have this different aura in you too.”
“I really love theater,” JC grins.
“I’m glad to hear that.”
“Did you see any plays or planning on seeing one while you’re here?” JC asks as their drinks arrive.
“We saw Prima Facie,” Beatrice tells him.
“That play… it changed me,” JC says. “I saw it on West End. A few of my friends and I took a trip to London and saw every play we could see and that’s what left a huge mark on me.”
“The plot and Jodie’s performance is insane,” Ava agrees.
“Do you have a play in production?” Beatrice asks.
“Soon,” JC answers. “It’s my first one in an actual theater. I’m really nervous.”
“Ava showed me one of your Zoom plays the other day,” Beatrice smiles. “You’re great. I’m sure you’ll do fine.”
“Thank you,” JC smiles at her.
Ava looks at the both of them and smiles too.
While eating, they talked about the agent that stood JC up. The said agent promised him a lot of things and he admitted he was swayed. It’s a good thing he haven’t left his current agent yet. Ava jokes it’s not too late to come clean and beg for forgiveness. JC laughs at that and says he should just focus on one project at a time and not be so ambitious. Beatrice even gave some insights on that matter since she has the most experience in the industry among them three. JC highly appreciated it.
“Thank you,” JC tells them in the lobby.
“It’s nice to see you again,” Ava tells him while holding Beatrice’s hand.
“You too,” JC smiles. “Take care of each other.”
“We will,” Beatrice promises. "Good luck, JC."
“Thanks. Alright, see you around, ladies,” JC says before he walks away.
“That was something,” Beatrice says while they are going up the elevator.
“He’s matured a lot,” Ava smiles to herself.
“As well as you,” Beatrice adds.
“I’m glad we are all okay,” Ava says. “It’s a rare thing.”
“I agree,” Beatrice nods.
“If only everyone can be as mature as him,” Ava sighs.
“You’re thinking about her again,” Beatrice sighs as well. “Don’t let her ruin this weekend.”
“Yeah, you’re right, I’m sorry.”
“Let’s just enjoy our last night here,” Beatrice kisses her cheek.
“Oh, I know,” Ava suddenly looks so mischievous.
“What?” Bea asks as the elevator door opens.
“You have to catch me first!” Ava runs.
“Ava!” Beatrice runs after her, laughing.
SOUTHEAST ORDER OF WORSHIP
BEATRICE YOUNG IS TURNING YOUR CHILDREN GAY!
We are advising our congregation and everyone in America and even around the world to boycott anything musician Beatrice Young puts out.
Her music is laced with homosexuality which is a grave sin. We are alarmed with the amount of youth that started practicing homosexuality after she announced it to the world. It did not help the rising numbers of people turning into homosexuality even before she came out.
Our Lord and Savior does not want us to succumb into this kind of sin. It’s time to repent for our sins because he will be coming to judge us. Come back to God!
gaytrice: FYI queer people existed way way way back. Jesus is probably queer too. Him and Judas? Hello?
internetmom: I must say I was very disappointed that she’s gay. My daughter looks up to her now I’m afraid she’ll end up queer as well.
avatricetrash69: It’s okay to say LESBIAN. It’s not a dirty word. Also, Karen, your daughter’s sexual orientation won’t be Beatrice or anyone’s fault. Everyone is born as they are.
youngsilva: the bible should just be a guide for your religion. it should not be taken literally. also, shove it up your ass!
silvasilvasilva: at least Beatrice’s “cult” is full of loving, understanding, creative and free people. unlike y’all who built their faith by fear. “pray and do good things so you won’t go to hell” well, why don’t you do good things because it’s the right thing to do?
beasdefender: beatrice has an honorary doctorate degree which jesus failed to achieve
young4lyf: this woman you are condemning for being who she is has inspired thousands if not millions of people around the world. she also helped a lot of people because of her charities. think about that.
youngthugz: you’re just jealous she has more influence than your so-called god
beatricerebbeca: I just know Beatrice’s pillows in her house are better to kneel on than the crusty ass pews in your church
bry_diehard: I can’t believe a religious organization is using Beatrice Young for clout
lowkeylurker: I’m laughing my ass off to all the people dragging this religious group
“Ava, you have been poking your head every three minutes for the past hour,” Beatrice asks, not stopping from playing chords on the piano in their home studio. “I can see you, you know. Come in if you want to.”
“I’m just worried about you,” Ava walks in. “But I don’t want to be annoying about it.”
“Is it about the stupid article?” Beatrice stops playing.
They have just arrived back in LA when Camila sent a link of an article posted by a religious group that has gone viral because of the comments. Beatrice just shrugged it off and unpacked her things. Ava did the same afraid of further asking her about it.
Ava had Zoom meetings so Beatrice went to the studio. After her meetings, she wanted to talk to her about it but didn’t know where to start.
“Yes,” Ava sits next to her on the piano bench. “I know we said we are not affected by that kind of stuff but I know we will still think about it somehow.”
“Of course, I have and will think about it,” Beatrice says. “Our brains can’t be shut off like that.”
“Are you okay?” Ava asks.
“Yeah,” Beatrice continues to play some melody.
Ava listens to it for a moment.
“I do like the title of the article,” she chuckles, stopping. “Don’t worry about me, my love. I expected this kind of stuff when I decided to come out.”
“Okay,” Ava smiles.
“Do you want to know something?”
“What?”
“The greatest thing I learned in the years we have been apart is most of the time, it’s better to stay silent and just let things run it’s course. Everything happens for a reason. They may condemn me like that now but the truth and the way I know I’m not hurting or stepping on other people will bring me back good karma,” Beatrice smiles and caresses Ava’s face. “I don’t have to defend myself because eventually destiny will set things right on their own.”
“Just like us being together again?” Ava smiles back.
“Yeah, like that,” Beatrice tells her. “As long as we know we are not doing anything wrong, it’s all good. People will say things no matter what we do.”
“What about last Friday when that article about me surfaced? That’s obviously Lilith’s doing?” Ava teases Beatrice.
“That’s different,” Beatrice answers seriously. “She attacked you. I can’t just do nothing. But you didn’t want me to and I respect your wishes.”
“I know and thank you,” Ava gives her a chaste kiss.
Beatrice smiles and turns on the piano again and plays Ava a melody she has been working on.
Later that night when they were laying bed next to each other, Beatrice asks a question. “I’ll be leaving on Wednesday. Will you be alright?”
“I’ll miss you so bad,” Ava tells her. “But I think I’ll be okay. How about you?”
“I will miss you too,” Beatrice tells her. “Especially this,” she gestures them.
“We can do this over video call,” Ava wiggles her brows.
Beatrice laughs.
“These past weeks, between my job and yours, has been a whirlwind and tiring,” Ava tells her. “Thank you for New York,” she kisses her.
“We both deserved that break,” Beatrice agrees. “But I don’t mind anything as long as I’m with you.”
“And we always come home to each other,” Ava adds.
“I’m so lucky to have you,” Bea kisses her hands. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Ava kisses her and they spend the night showing each other how much.
