“Your face,” Ava chuckles. “You’re so in love with me.”

“I am not even going to deny that,” Beatrice embraces her. “I am head over heels in love with you, Ava Silva.”

“I’d take a bullet for you,” Ava tells her. “I don’t think I can live without you.”

“This is our cheesiest Valentine’s yet,” Beatrice laughs.

Ava laughs with her. Then, Beatrice phone rings. Ava gives her a questioning look.

“It’s Camila,” she tells her. “It’ll just be quick,” she gives her a quick kiss and walks to the kitchen.

“Hi, Cam,” Beatrice greets her.

“I just am letting you know I just finished rendering the music video,” Camila says. “It’s my best work I would say,” she chuckles.

“Can it go live after the interview?” Beatrice asks.

“Already?”

“Yeah, I think it will be the perfect icing to the cake, you know?”

“We could do it,” Camila says. “But let’s give it an hour or two before we make it live. Give your fans room to breathe.”

“How are they taking it?” Beatrice asks.

“You aren’t on Twitter right now?”

“No, Ava and I decided to mute social media and just enjoy the interview,” Beatrice tells her.

“They are going crazy!” Camila exclaims. “You are gaining a lot of support and you haven’t even started telling them your and Ava’s story.”

“Wow.”

“Well, you just confirmed what they already know,” Camila chuckles. “Even some of the heteros are changing sides.”

“That’s good to hear,” Beatrice smiles.

“Did your mom call?”

“Not yet,” Beatrice bites her lip. “I don’t even know if she’s watching.”

“Maybe she will after the interview.”

“Yeah…”

“Everything’s going to be alright,” Camila assures her. “Beatrice, I’m so proud of you.”

“Thank you, Cam,” Beatrice tries hard not to cry. “You have been with me with this for so long.”

“And I will do it over and over again. I love you.”

“Love you too,” Beatrice says.

“The commercials are almost over I think,” Camila says. “I’ll send you the video and watch it after the interview then we’ll upload it if you want no revisions.”

“Okay, bye.”

“Bye.”

“Bea, the commercials are over!” Ava calls for her.

She sprints back to the living room and sits with Ava. She puts her arm around her.

“Everything, okay?” Ava asks.

“Yeah, she just updated me about the music video,” Beatrice smiles. “She said it looks really good.”

“Yey,” Ava kisses her.

“You’re killing us here, Beatrice,” Oprah says.

“Ava Silva,” she flashes the biggest smile as her face turns red.

“Your best friend?”

“My girlfriend, actually,” Beatrice smile got even bigger.

“How long have you been together?” Oprah smiles.

“Well, that’s a question I just can't answer plain and simple,” Beatrice says. “It’s a little complicated.”

“Enlighten us then.”

“I’ll start from the beginning,” Beatrice tells her. “As everyone knows, I made the soundtrack of the first movie in The Love Games Trilogy which is ‘Ready For It’ in 2011. The song was called ‘Undefeated’. I met Ava at the shooting of the music video. We played the alter ego of each other who is trying to come to terms with their true personal self so we had a lot of scenes together.”

“What was your first impression of her?”

“She is really gorgeous. I mean I saw her from some movie clips they sent me but seeing her in person is different,” Beatrice bites her lip. “It’s something that made me stunned to my core.”

“Is this the first time you felt attracted to a woman?”

“No,” Beatrice reveals. “I have always admired women and felt attracted to them but this is the first time I really, really felt it, you know?”

“So it was physical attraction at first?”

“Yes,” Beatrice nods. “But then before we started, she came into my tent and introduced herself. I instantly felt comfortable in her presence. She has this sunshine-powered smile and her aura is very friendly.”

“I can attest that this is true,” Oprah chuckles. “Ava Silva is like a walking sunshine.”

“After the shoot, she came again to my tent and we hanged out,” Beatrice continues. “She told me that she’s a fan and everyone is honored that I did the soundtrack. I told her that I saw some parts of the film already and I think she pulled off a great performance.”

“What did happen next?”

“She blushed,” Beatrice grins. “I thought she was so cute. I thought she would be like, ‘yeah, I know’ but she was very humble. She revealed to me that she is very nervous about it because it was her first main role.”

“She’s the daughter od Vincent and Reya Silva, Hollywood royalties of the 80s,” Oprah says. “I had the chance of interviewing them once.”

“Yes, that’s why I expected her to be full of herself,” Beatrice reveals. “She’s the daughter of two very talented actors and she went to Julliard. But no, she’s very humble.”

“So how did it continue?”

“We started out as friends,” Beatrice says. “She’s with Griffin that time and I was with Jakey.”

“So the attraction you felt for her, was you aware of it of you were in denial?”

“I was aware but I didn’t act on it or paid it much attention back then because I feel like it wasn’t worth choosing it over my current relationship.”

“Because she has someone else,” Oprah says.

“Exactly,” Beatrice nods. “But I don’t want her to be just someone I worked with. I really like her and she likes me too so we became friends.”

“Is she like your other friends? Did you still feel lonely that time?”

“I wasn’t aware yet that time but that’s when I started to feel better,” Beatrice says. “It’s different when I vent to her. It’s just different when I’m with her.”

“When did you start realizing maybe she’s worth ending your relationship and pursuing her?”

“I didn’t end my relationship,” Beatrice smiles sadly. “It’s him who ended it.”

“Where was Ava in this?”

“She’s the person I first went to,” Beatrice says. “She listened and made sure I was alright. She did it even when her and Griffin are having problems of their own. It made me realize how important I am to her, you know? She always makes time.”

“That’s sweet.”

“It is,” Beatrice agrees. “We just grew closer after that.”

“This is also the time she appeared on multiple music videos of yours,” Oprah points out.

“I really wanted her to star in another music video after ‘Undefeated’ but I was too shy to ask her,” Beatrice reveals. “Turns out she wants it to but was equally shy to ask.”

“Then how?”

“She mentioned that she wanted to act in different genres but she’s scared she won’t be good,” Beatrice tells her. “So I thought that that’s my chance. I asked her if maybe she wanted a trial and she asked what did I mean and I asked her to be in my upcoming music video.”

“Did she agree immediately?”

“She replied, ‘I thought you’ll never ask’,” Beatrice laughs. “And we just did it.”

“Over and over again,” Oprah says. “How many in total?”

“I think five?” Beatrice answers. “If she weren’t shooting movies back to back she’ll probably the protagonist of every music video of mine since I met her.”

“How about songs? How many did she inspire?”

“Too many,” Beatrice beams. “I don’t bother to count anymore.”

“This is friendly stuff,” Oprah says. “When did the romance started?”

“When she and Griffin broke up, and she was in shambles, I realized how deep of a love I have for her,” Beatrice says. “I realized that it’s not platonic anymore. It hurt me to see her hurt. I wanted to protect her from everything and at the same time give her the world.”

“Did you make a move?”

“Not yet,” Beatrice breathes. “I was scared to act on my feelings. I don’t know if Ava feels something more for me.”

“Did you also consider how people will react?”

“No, I didn’t care at that time,” Beatrice says. “She’s all I could think about. Every second of every day.”

“What did you do then?”

“This is the time I made questionable decisions in dating,” Beatrice shakes her head. “I tried to put what I feel for her towards others. I tried finding her in other people.”

“But you failed, didn’t you?”

“I did,” Beatrice nods. “No one can really measure up to her.”

“When you realized you can’t escape it, what happened?”

“We both got dumped,” Beatrice recalls. “She just moved to New York and I was there for a show. We were in her apartment, just the two of us drinking bottle after bottle of wine. We vented out with each other. I aired out that I don’t like it when men hurt her and she says she feels the same. Ava reveals that she doesn’t get hurt as much when she dated women.”

“How did you react to that?”

“I felt like someone electrocuted me,” Beatrice chuckles. “I figured I had a chance. I was about to talk to her about it when she asked, ‘What if we’re together instead?’”

“What did you reply?”

“I said that she’s just drunk,” Beatrice says. “I took care of her and put her to bed.”

“What happened after that?”

“When she woke up the next day, she talked to me about it,” Beatrice says. “She remembered.”

“And this time, what did you reply?”

“I was hesitant because why if she’s just so heartbroken, you know?” Beatrice says. “But what she said next shocked me.”

“Go on.”

“She told me that she really like me ever since my rose to fame and then fell in love with me the moment she heard ‘Undefeated’,” Beatrice reveals. “She was the one who requested the director to include me in the music video. She’s the one who requested I attend the premiere. She told me that she hates using her parent’s name to get her way but she did because she wants to get close to me.”

“Oh, wow. What a revelation!”

“She revealed that the reason Griffin and her had problems was because she wants me.”

“Then why was she devastated when they broke up?”

“Because I was with someone else that time,” Beatrice says. “She felt hopeless because we keep on missing each other.”

“And then you were both in New York nursing broken hearts.”

“Yes,” Beatrice says. “I didn’t know what to say at first and she thought she ruined everything by blabbing about her feelings. She said to forget about it but I stopped her. I told her how I felt too.”

“That’s when you became official?” Oprah asks. “What year is this?”

“Early 2015,” Beatrice tells her. “Finally, after a few years of yearning and pining,” she chuckles.

“You found the one.”

“I did,” Beatrice smiles.

“If you did, then what happened? Why did you both dated other men? Why did Ava marry JC la Torre and why did you date Michael Salvius?”

“It’s a complicated one,” Beatrice scratches her chin.

“I bet it is,” Oprah nods.

“I think I’m going to need a teammate,” Beatrice chuckles lightly. “Can I?”

“Go ahead,” Oprah gestures with her hand.

“My love?” Beatrice beams and looks over beyond the camera.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Ava Silva!” Oprah announces.
