“I want people to understand that,” Beatrice says. “I am not telling all of this just to get sympathy. I want to cite an example that public figures like us are just like you. Why we chose to do a certain thing or hide it.”
“Can we talk about your reputation next?” Oprah asks. “I think it is fitting since we are talking about these things you did and things you hid.”
“My reputation,” Beatrice chuckles lightly and shakes her head. “It’s been wild.”
“People had and still have a lot to say.”
“Very true,” Beatrice nods this time. “Remember what you said about the world not being black and white, okay?”
“I remember,” Oprah chuckles. “It’s the viewers that need to keep it in mind.”
“Where do I even start with my reputation?” Beatrice asks.
“Well, start from the beginning.”
“I was young,” Beatrice tells her. “I started when I was fifteen. I could say I didn’t know that much. I was this little girl who came from a small town who just wants her songs to be heard.”
“You had no idea how big and bad the world is.”
“Exactly,” Beatrice points. “I believed every sweet thing everyone said to me.”
“Francesco Duretti,” Oprah namedrops.
“I didn’t know what I was getting into when I signed with him,” Beatrice says. “I was a kid and I think he took advantage of that.”
“I think we can all agree,” Oprah says.
“But again, it’s not black and white,” Beatrice says. “He did help me reach my full potential but still, he took advantage of that.”
“Well, I am glad that you are making your music your own again,” Oprah tells her.
“Two down, four re-recordings to go,” she chuckles.
“What do you want to say to the people who think you are ungrateful and you are just being dramatic with this issue?”
“I want them to take a second and think,” Beatrice answers. “I want them to put themselves in my position. Imagine suddenly not having custody of your children that you put all your time and love nurturing. Wouldn’t you fight for them?”
“That’s a great analogy,” Oprah comments.
beatriceswifereal: FUCK YOU 3000 DURETTI I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR UNSEASONED DINNER

avatricetruer: I’m so glad Ava is a part of how Beatrice fought Duretti
“I still can’t believe you referred to your albums as your children,” Ava leans her head on Beatrice’s shoulder. “It’s absolute genius.”
“They are my children,” Beatrice tells her. “I put my blood, sweat and tears for them.”
“Be honest, how many of them are with me?”
“Five,” Beatrice grins. “But you share some with others.”
“That’s fine,” Ava dismisses. “As long as I get to be with the mother.”
“Did you just call me ‘mother’?”
“Yes, you’re a MILF,” Ava laughs.
“Stop it,” Beatrice chuckles. “We need to watch. We are getting to the good part.”
“Let’s go to your colorful dating life,” Oprah tells her.
“Oof,” Beatrice blows air. “What about it?”
“It also contributes to your infamous reputation.”
“It does,” she can only nod. “But why is it such a big deal though? I think everyone have their fair share of puppy love, crushes, infatuations, flings and failed relationships especially when you are young. You can’t expect to fall in love once and that’s it. No offense to people who ended up with their first loves and are still very much in love now.”
“I had my fair share, I’ll tell you that,” Oprah laughs which makes Bea laugh too.
“But when you are a public figure and a ‘role model’ you are crucified for it,” Beatrice continues. “I was young, I don’t know what I wanted. How will I know if I don’t date?”
“How do you feel in people making a big deal out of it?”
“Of course, it got me frustrated,” Beatrice says. “It got me questioning everything. I think it added to why I got lost and turned to wrong directions, you know?”
“Is there truth that you date so just you have inspiration for your songs?”
“That’s never my intention,” Beatrice says. “Songwriting is my outlet for everything I experienced. Like how you vent to your significant other after a long tiring day or punching the hell out of a punching bag at the gym.”
“You had boyfriends and your family,” Oprah points out. “Isn’t venting with them enough?”
“To me it’s not,” Beatrice says. “I love my family and my friends. And I liked my exes but it was not enough.”
“How come?”
Beatrice pauses for a moment. She takes a deep breath. “I know people would think I have no reason to feel this way but I do,” Beatrice says. “All my life, I have felt alone and lonely.”
Oprah gives her a nod of encouragement to continue.
“By writing songs, having people like and relate to it and hearing them sing it with me during shows, it alleviates the feeling somehow.”
“I definitely heard it in your new album,” Oprah comments. “Your loneliness is a huge inspiration for it, I assume.”
“Yes,” Beatrice nods. “On my previous two albums that I released during the pandemic, I risked releasing songs that tackles that and surprisingly, a lot of people related to it and that made me happy. So I figured why not compile a lot of my songs that is in the same boat and make it into an album.”
“Ten songs in the Billboard top list, all yours at the same time,” Oprah smiles. “Very impressive.”
“I did not expect the reception to be honest,” Beatrice smiles shyly. “They are things that swims in my mind in the middle of the night keeping me awake.”
“A lot of people do,” Oprah says. “Maybe that’s why they relate to it so much.”
“It’s the first time I let my music be that vulnerable,” Beatrice reveals. “And I’m thankful it is well received.”
“Are you less lonely now?” Oprah asks.
“I’ve been less lonely than when I started.”
“Now that you have done this, will we not hear songs about love or heartbreak from you?”
“I’ve been asked that when my relationship with Michael got to three years. He was my longest relationship,” Beatrice says. “And I’ll say what I said back then. I always take inspiration from other people’s experiences too. Both from fiction and in real life.”
Oprah nods.
“Actually, that’s a lie,” Beatrice suddenly says. “Michael was not my longest relationship.”
Beatrice isn’t looking at the TV. She’s looking at Ava who is sitting next to her the way she looked at her when they were shooting it as she said those words. Ava’s eyes are glued to the screen though. She kisses her on the head and Ava quickly glances and smiles at her.
“What do you mean by that?” Oprah asks.
“There was a time when I realized why it never worked with all the boys I dated,” Beatrice says. “Or with anyone else.”
“Okay…”
“It was a time when someone really special came into my life and suddenly I knew why,” Beatrice continues. “Because those people is not this person.”
“Who is this someone?” Oprah asks.
Beatrice gazes to the camera for a few moments, a smile playing on her lips. She takes a happy breath.
“You’re killing us here, Beatrice,” Oprah says.
“Ava Silva,” she flashes the biggest smile as her face turns red.
