HOLLYWOOD SCOOP!

WISHING AVA SILVA A SPEEDY RECOVERY

Four days ago, on New Year’s Day, actress Ava Silva got into an accident in West Hollywood. Fortunately, she didn’t suffer any major injuries. A delivery truck hit her out of nowhere while she is at a stop sign. Sources at the scene stated that they saw her best friend Beatrice Young rushing at the scene. We asked Young’s camp about this and her publicist said that the two friends was supposed to meet up that day for lunch. Silva called Young while she was at the stop sign and Silva was able to ask for help. Young was near the area where it happened so she rushed there.

The situation was messed up but you got to admit that after this, we are all increasing our bar for friendship. Get well soon, Ava!

UPDATE: Silva posted a photo of her on the hospital with Young taking care of her! How cute are they?

“Good morning,” Ava greets Beatrice who is sitting in the kitchen counter, smiling on her phone. “What did your other girlfriend text you?”

“Good morning,” Beatrice kisses Ava on the lips when she approached her. “Michael just sent me a bunch of funny stuff our fans tweeted after you posted that picture.”

“Are the straights mad?” Ava picks up the toast on Beatrice’s plate and munches on it.

“Definitely,” Beatrice laughs. “Imagine if we come out.”

“Bea,” Ava starts to say. “Can I talk to you about something?”

“Sounds serious,” Beatrice sobers up. “What’s up?”

“I was just thinking,” Ava tells her. “Now that we’re back together, I don’t want to hide anymore. I mean, I’m not saying we go public about it right now but I want to eventually. Are you okay with that?”

Beatrice smiles and hugs her. “Of course, I want to go public about this,” she says when they pull away. “But we’re going to need time. There are other people involved in this too. Michael, your parents, my mom.”

“I know,” Ava says. “I just want to clear it with you. Communication wasn’t out best suit the first time so I figured to try and be better.”

“And we are better now,” Beatrice hugs her again. “But for now, I want you to focus on getting better, physically. Now, stop eating my toast. What do you want for breakfast?"

"Eggs is fine,” Ava kisses her cheek before going to the coffee maker.

“Scrambled with cheddar cheese and some spring onions?” Beatrice asks as she opens the refrigerator.

“You still remember,” Ava grins.

“Oh yes,” Beatrice winks. “And it will taste better now because believe it or not Michael’s cooking skills rubbed off on me a little. And you have to try it with spicy ketchup, trust me.”

“Alright, impress me, chef,” Ava chuckles.

After breakfast, Ava shows Beatrice around the whole house. She knows she’ll be living with her temporarily but she hopes she’ll eventually make her move permanently. She saved the study to show her for last.

“And last but not the least, I would say my favorite room in the house besides my bedroom, the study,” Ava opens the one of the double doors. “This would have more drama effect if my left arm isn’t in a brace and I can open the doors both,” she mutters.

“It’s okay,” Beatrice chuckles. “Let me do it.”

She hears her gasp as she opened the door.

“Whoa,” was all Beatrice could say coming in and looking around.

It was a very huge room. On the side where the door is, there are floor to ceiling bookshelves that is waiting to be full of books. Near the huge window that gives you a great view of the backyard and the valley behind it, are grand couches. Across from it is a desk with very fancy multi-monitor computer set-up.

“What is this?” Beatrice points at the desk. “Is this a base of a secret operation? Are you CIA?”

“Stop it, silly,” Ava shoves her. “I’ve been wanting to and I actually took some classes when I was still active in acting but this pandemic, I really learned coding.”

“You code now?” Beatrice raises an eyebrow. “So, you’re super techy now. That’s hot.”

“Stop it, you flirt!” Ava laughs. “Yeah, I code now. It’s really fun actually. I’m thinking of starting a foundation where I could take in young girls who wanted to but can’t afford to go to college and learn it.”

“Maybe we should build a college that teaches only coding and music for young women who doesn’t have the privilege to go to,” Beatrice seconds her idea. “That would be so cool and helpful, right?”

“That would be hard,” Ava tells her. “Maybe we should start with partnering with colleges. Sponsoring young girls to go to college. We should talk to our people. Make it possible.”

“I did pay some of my fans’ student loans,” Beatrice says. “Areala thinks that yes, it’s great but at the same time I might get abused or something. I mean not to brag but I’m set up for life already. I just want to help.”

“We definitely need to start a charity,” Ava says.

“Definitely,” Beatrice agreed. “Wait, what’s that door there?”

“An extra room,” Ava says. “The previous owners are lawyers and they made that into a little conference room. It’s empty now. It could be opened to be a part of this already huge room.”

“Cool,” Beatrice nods. “Now, do you want to watch a movie or something? Or maybe talk more about the foundation or charity we are going to start? I still have some time to kill before my dinner with Mom.”

“That could be your own music studio,” was Ava want to say but she kept it in for now.

“Actually, can you help me run lines for Joan of Arc?” Ava smiles at her.

“Gladly,” Beatrice offers her hand and she takes it and they exit the room.

Ava was so into their little bubble she forgot her parents were coming. On Friday morning, her mother calls her.

“Hi, Mama,” Ava answers.

Mija, I’m so silly,” her mom laughs. “We’re on our way to the airport now and I forgot to ask for your address!”

“Oh!” Ava exclaims. “Yeah. You know what, I’ll just send my driver to pick you up, just send me the details of your flight.”

“You have a driver again?”

“Yes, thankfully Paul is free again,” Ava informs her. “I just hired him back. Lady Gaga is going back to NYC so she let him go. He didn’t specify who Kardashian wants to hire him but he likes me better so when I reached out he immediately took the job,” she chuckles.

“Paul Dierden?” Reya asks. “That’s great mija, he’s a good lad. He was with you when you rose to fame.”

“Yeah, so just send me the details,” Ava tells her.

“I’m sending it now,” Reya says to her. “See you in a few hours.”

“Take care.”

Ava slumps on the couch. She looks around and her place is a little bit of a mess.

“Was that your mom?” Beatrice asks as she came in. Ava asked her to get the script of “The Cure”, Robert Egger’s film, for her. The production was pushed back but she still wants to go over it from time to time between Joan of Arc and the early drafts of Jordan Peele’s “Beach House”. Sometimes Michael comes over to run it with her. Beatrice says they have great chemistry. They are only supporting and Ava’s character dies midway but they still want to give their best.

“We totally forgot they were coming today,” Ava tells her.

“Oh, shit, you’re right,” Beatrice gasps. “And this place is a mess.”

“I mean we can clean it, right?” Ava is not convinced herself.

“Not if they are going to arrive in a few hours,” Beatrice says. “Let me just call Helena, our helper. She’s super good and super-fast.”

“Alright but we still need to help her too,” Ava tells her. “Call her and I’ll get started.”

“Okay.”

After a few minutes, Helena came and they helped each other. They managed to make the house squeaky clean in just three hours. They thanked Helena and she said she was happy to help. She did request a picture with Ava because her daughter is a huge fan.

“I know you trust her but she won’t rat us out, will she?” Ava asks when Helena left.

“She’s good,” Beatrice assures her. “Even without the NDA I don’t think she’ll talk. She doesn’t like to gossip. And she deeply cares for Michael and I. I felt it these past three years. I think she considers us as her children or something.”

“Okay, that’s great,” Ava nods. “I know we want to get public but I also know we don’t want to be outed that way.”

“Don’t worry about that,” Beatrice pulling her into a hug, kissing her head. “What we need to worry is what to serve for dinner and no offense, but you smell, babe.”

“Excuse you, you smell worse than me,” Ava laughs. “And for the dinner, let’s just order from their favorite restaurant. I know the owner. I’ll call her and you start our bath.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Beatrice salutes.

“I hate that,” Ava chuckles and lightly slaps her with her phone. “The one you called me earlier is way better.”

“Yes, my love,” Beatrice smiles and gives her a kiss.

“That’s even better,” Ava smiles. “Go, they arrive in about two hours.”

“Come on,” Ava gestures with her head to Beatrice when they both hear the doorbell ring.

“No, you go,” Beatrice says.

“No need to be anxious,” Ava gives her a chaste kiss. She pulls Beatrice up with her good arm and makes their way to the door.

Ava gives her another reassuring smile before opening the door.

Mija!” Reya immediately hugs Ava.

Beatrice is still blown away by how beautiful Reya is. It’s true how people says Ava is the exact copy of her mother. If Ava let her hair grow past her shoulders, they would look like twins.

“Ava,” Vincent smiles at her and opens his arms in invitation.

“Papa,” Ava smiles and hugs him tight. “Come in.”

“Good afternoon,” Beatrice smiles at them, trying so hard not to be awkward. These are the people who the last time she saw were very disapproving of her. And Ava just introduced her as her best friend. Now, she’s meeting them as her girlfriend. She offers her hand to Reya but she scoffs.

“Stop with the handshake, give me a hug,” Reya chuckles and envelops her into a hug.

Vincent also hugs him after Reya pulls away.

“Come in,” Ava tells them.

“This is a nice home,” Reya comments as she let her gaze wander.

“Of course, you chose a Spanish style one,” Vincent says. “I approve.”

“Let me give you a tour while we wait for the food,” Ava tells them. “I ordered Antonio’s.”

“Oh!” Reya claps her hands. “It’s been a while since we had it.”

“We should visit LA more from now on,” Vincent put his arms around his wife.

“Bea, you coming?” Ava asks.

“You tour your parents,” Bea gives her a small smile. “I’ll wait for the food.”

“Okay,” Ava nods.

When they are out of earshot, Reya asks a question, “Is Beatrice okay? Is she upset with us?”

“No, she’s just really anxious,” Ava tells them. “It’s just that, you know, remember when I introduced her to you in New York?”

“We were terrible,” Vincent admits. “We just assumed she was not good for you based on what tabloids write about her.”

“We will apologize,” Reya promises.

“Great,” Ava smiles. “Now, this my study, it’s not yet fully furnished but I have some plans about it that I’m really excited about.”

As Ava shows her parents the last room, Beatrice calls from downstairs to tell them dinner is ready.

“Thank you, mi amor,” Reya smiles at Vincent who pulls a chair for her.

“Thank you, my love,” Ava says at the same time as her mother when Beatrice pulls a chair for her too.

The mother and daughter share a chuckle together.

“This looks nice,” Reya comments. “Are you sure you just ordered this?”

“Bea, here is great at food presentation,” Ava grins.

“Michael cooks so I am left with making it pretty,” Beatrice shrugs.

“Michael? Michael Salvius?” Vincent asks.

“Yes,” Beatrice answers.

“He’s our friend,” Ava says. “We’ll talk about it later. Let’s eat.”

Reya and Vincent ask Ava about her new acting projects while eating. Beatrice just ate in silence admiring how Ava interacts with her parents. She used to be so angry at them and now she’s happy to see her bonding with them.

“Beatrice, you are going on tour, right?” Reya asks. “Congratulations on your new album, by the way. Ava’s cousin, Diego told us you had the Billboard top ten all to yourself. He’s such a huge fan of yours.”

“Diego?” Ava asks.

“You probably don’t remember him that much,” Vincent says. “He was just a baby when you last saw him in the last family reunion you attended.”

“He is staying with us,” Reya reveals. “His fireman father died last year and your aunt, her mother can’t put him to college. We took them in. Diego is our scholar and Corazon is working at the vineyard as supervisor of the farmers.”

“That’s nice,” Ava comments.

“But back to Beatrice,” Reya points at her and smiles.

“Thank you,” she smiles back. “I’m really excited to go on tour. It’s been a while and I am just happy I get to travel, see my fans and sing songs with them.”

“Are you playing in Madrid because we’ll definitely go,” Vincent asks her.

“Oh, we haven’t finalized the Europe dates yet,” Beatrice says. “But I’ll let you know.”

Ava grins. She takes Bea’s hand under the table and squeezes it.

Beatrice clears the table and loads the dishwasher while Ava serves her parents tea and cake in the backyard patio.

When Beatrice joins them, Vincent starts to talk. “Ava, mija, we want to apologize to you for how we treated you these past few years.”

“We were blinded by our outdated beliefs,” Reya continues. “We forgot that we should have thought you were our child first before anything else.”

“We realized all this when Diego and Corazon came to live with us,” Vincent tells her. “He’s gay and we were floored on how Corazon supports him. And she’s a very religious woman.”

“One day we just got talking and she gave us really good insight that changed our perspective,” Reya adds. “We decided to go to a counselor.”

“It was an enlightening experience,” Vincent says. “We realized a lot of our mistakes.”

“Diego also educated us,” Reya smiles fondly.

Mija, we’re so sorry that we shunned you,” Vincent takes Ava’s hand. “You telling us about your sexuality doesn’t mean you suddenly turned into an Ava we don’t know and love.”

“We’re so sorry,” Reya says. “We’ll spend the rest of our life making it up to you, we promise.”

“Thank you, Mama, Papa,” Ava says wiping her tears. “I forgive you.”

“Thank you, mija,” Vincent squeezes her hands and Reya stands up to hug her tight.

“Now for Beatrice,” Reya smiles at her.

Beatrice doesn’t know what to say. She’s just sitting here, playing with her fingers. Ava gives her a reassuring smile and holds her hand.

“Beatrice, we are sorry for being so hostile with you the first time we met,” Vincent tells her.

“We were blinded by what the tabloids said about you,” Reya continues. “It’s ironic since we are celebrities too. We should have known better.”

“I hope you can forgive us,” Vincent says.

“It’s okay,” Beatrice tells them. “It’s all in the past.”

“We want to express our gratitude towards you too,” Reya smiles at her. “I have never seen our Ava here this happy.”

“That’s correct,” Vincent smiles as well. “Thank you for bringing her joy and taking care of her.”

“She does the same to me,” Beatrice beams at Ava.

“Oh, you two look lovely together,” Reya sniffs. “Why didn’t we see this before, mi amor?”

“Because we were blinded,” Vincent tells her. “I agree with your Mama. You two look great.”

“Thank you,” Ava beams.

HOLLYWOOD SCOOP!

THE SILVAS RECONCILE

This weekend, actress Ava Silva posted a picture of her having dinner with her parents in her Instagram. It seems like after years of being estranged, they finally made up. As seen in the picture, everyone were all smiles.

Nobody really knows why they had a falling out but a lot of people speculate it happened after Ava’s interview for Vogue where she told that she doesn’t really label herself and she’s attracted to who she is attracted to regardless of gender.

Vincent Silva and Reya Cruz-Silva were Oscar winning actors that had booming career in during the 80s to early 90s. They were deeply religious which made people suspect they disapprove of their daughter’s sexuality.

But it looks like it’s water under the bridge this 2023.

silva4lyf: aww they are okay now!!!

The next day, they had dinner with Michael, Yasmine, Camilla, Shannon and Mary. Ava also explained the situation between Michael and Beatrice to her parents. They inform the two that whatever they do they support them and they will be there for them.

Vincent and Reya were delighted to meet Ava’s friends. It made them assured that their daughter will be fine in LA. They expressed their gratitude to every single one of them.

“Great weekend?” Beatrice asks.

“The best,” Ava kisses her. “I have a question for you,” she asks after pulling away.

“You want me to call you ‘mi amor’?”

“No, silly,” Ava rolls her eyes.

“Then what?”

“Would you move in?” Ava bites her lips, her voice unsure.

“I am here,” Beatrice is a little confused.

“I mean permanently,” Ava tells her.

Beatrice just smiles at her.

“So?”

“Of course,” Beatrice kisses her. “It would be my pleasure.”

“Yey!” Ava beams. “We could turn the study to your studio,” Ava excitedly says. “Half of the bookshelf could be where we put your music awards.”

“You thought about this for a long time already, have you?” Beatrice chuckles.

“Ever since I bought this house,” Ava admits. “Moving here in LA for my career isn’t the only reason. I was determined to get you back too.”

“I love you,” Beatrice kisses her.

“I love you too,” Ava says back.

The following days, Beatrice moves her things little by little to Ava’s house. Fortunately, no paparazzi have spotted her doing it.

“Hey, can you make Michael cook us Carbonara tonight? I’m craving it so bad,” Ava asks coming in the closet where Beatrice was putting her clothes. She hands her a bottle of water.

“Oh, he’s in London,” Beatrice says. “He’s visiting his parents. He’ll be back the day after tomorrow I think.”

“Shame,” Ava sits in the ottoman.

“I could cook for you,” Beatrice smiles. “I know how to and Michael says its good enough which in his vocabulary says it’s good to a normal person not that obsessed with food.”

“It’s okay, I’ll just wait for him.”

“I’m offended,” Beatrice scoffs teasingly.

“No, I mean you are already tired form moving your stuff,” Ava sits in the floor behind her and hugs her.

“Are you really ready to go back to work tomorrow?” Beatrice asks.

“It’s just a three-hour workshop and its with Mary,” Ava says still hugging Bea while giving kisses to her shoulder. Beatrice continues to fold her clothes. “No stunt training until this thing comes off.”

“Just don’t overwork yourself,” Beatrice reminds her. “When your head starts to hurt call me immediately.”

“I’ll be fine,” Ava assures her. “How about you?”

“I’m behind some choreography but I’ll manage,” Beatrice says. “We will also talk about the Europe dates so I’ll be late.”

“That’s okay,” Ava tells her. “I badly wanted to help you but this thing sucks,” she says waving her braced arm.

“You can hang those,” Beatrice points at some clothes. “They are already in their hangers.”

“Sure, my love,” Ava gives her a kiss.

When Michael came back, they decided to have dinner in his house. He cooked carbonara as Ava requested.

“How do you make this so good?” Ava asks with a mouthful of pasta in her mouth.

“I met this lovely grandma in Italy while I was studying there and she taught me,” Michael reveals.

“How’s your parents?” Beatrice asks sipping red wine.

“They are great,” Michael says. “Mum is very happy with her flower shop and Dad is thinking of retiring from being a lawyer.”

“I didn’t know your dad is a lawyer,” Ava says. “Why didn’t he handle the stuff back then?”

“They didn’t know who I was,” Michael replies.

“Didn’t? Was?” Beatrice quips. “Does that mean…”

“After the dinner with Ava’s parents, it got me thinking,” Michael tells them. “Before I chicken out, I booked a flight to London and came out to them.”

“Michael, we’re so proud of you,” Beatrice squeezes his hand that’s on the table. Ava smiles proudly at him.

“I thought they were going to freak out but they were very supportive, especially Dad,” Michael smiles. “He told me there was rumors about that thing that happened in 2016 but he just ignored it,” Michael says.

“Damn, lawyers could be big mouths too, huh, ” Ava comments.

“Yeah, that lawyer you got back then was a tool,” Beatrice says. “Good thing we got Atty. Duncan now.”

“I’m just happy that they finally know,” Michael smiles again. “Hans is very happy too.”

“Which reminds me, we need a story on how we broke up,” Beatrice says.

“Yeah, my agent told me too,” Michael agrees. “It’s just that he’s scared of Areala.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle it,” Beatrice assures him.

“I plan on coming out to the world too,” Michael tells them. “But I want to ease into it. This movie with Paul Mescal would be a nice step.”

“Paul Mescal,” Ava says dreamily. “You got to kiss him, you lucky bastard.”

“Hello, your girlfriend is here,” Beatrice rolls her eyes.

“Oh, as if you won’t jump the opportunity to kiss Phoebe Bridgers,” Ava rolls her eyes as well.

“Can you please stop fighting in my dinner table?” Michael chuckles. “How about you two?”

“We plan on it too,” Ava tells him. “And like you we are into baby steps.”

“We plan on letting paps see us out and about,” Beatrice says. “Areala be damned.”

“You will give her a heart attack,” Michael says. “Her blood pressure will go through the roof.”

“She just have to live with the fact that Ava will never not be in my life,” Beatrice says.

“I just wish she stops sneering at me,” Ava shrugs. “Her facial muscles could use a break.”

“Ava!” Michael laughs. “But seriously, Bea, you should have given her a spa treatment or something besides the Aspen trip.”

“Let’s just stop talking about her,” Beatrice chuckles. “She might be choking on her dinner right now because of us.”

The following days, Beatrice and Ava developed a routine. They would wake up, make and eat breakfast together then get ready for the day. Beatrice would go to her rehearsals and Ava would go to her workshops and meetings. They would call or text each other during their breaks. And when they come home, they would cook dinner if they aren’t tired or they will order takeout. They would talk about their day then clean up the dishes together. After, they will watch a movie, Beatrice would play for Ava or Ava would read lines with Beatrice. Everything feels good and they are perfectly happy in their own private bubble.
