Who Are You? Who am I!?
I woke up slowly, blinking a few times to get rid of the sleep that was begging me to return to it. Laying there, I tried to make sense of... something? I don't know what, but everything just off. Then I realized. I don't know where I am. I shot up, hand reaching to my pocket. I looked around at my surroundings, trying to figure it out. I was in a tent, a stunning mixture of bright orange and deep purple. There wasn't much in it, except for two bags at the front near the zipper, and myself in a seagreen sleeping bag, which clashed horribly with the tent by the way, like who picked this out? I turned to my other side, and nearly died of shock at the body I saw there.
Well, not an actual body, at least I didn't think so. He seemed to be breathing. He was facing me, allowing me to get a good look at him. He had blonde hair and pale skin, along with a scar on his lip. He seemed to be fairly muscled as well. He was dressed in a purple shirt, and had a sky blue sleeping bag.
I debated on waking him up, only to realize that there was no need to, as he was slowly blinking awake, seeming to be going through the same process as I did waking up. He stared at me sleepily for a few seconds before shooting to his feet, which wow he was tall, especially since I was still sitting.
'Focus me. Worry about that later, pay more attention to the guy who looks about ready to tackle you' I decided my brain was probably right. Only problem, I have no clue what to do in this situation. Thankfully, I didn't have to, for the blondy made a decision for me again, and wasn't he just helpful! So many things I didn't have to decide on already today! Yeah, I don't know if that was sarcastic either.
"Who are you?!" The boy asked. Which good question, I really need to stop calling him 'the boy.'
I opened my mouth to reply before stopping. Another reason that was a good question then. I had no clue who I was, which, problem for the immediate future as the boy looks a lot closer to killing me then letting me answer the longer I'm silent.
"I- I don't know?.." That came out a lot closer to a question than I wanted it to.
"What do you mean you don't know..." He trailed off as he neared the end of his sentence as a look came on to his face.
"I mean I don't know. I have no clue to who I am. Who are you?" I asked, slightly more panicked now as I began to realize that I literally had no clue who I was. Not my name, appearance, family, not even a favorite color.
The boy had calmed down slightly, at least he was no longer in tackle position. He frowned. "I don't know."
Well. That's not good. Neither of us know who we were. As he no longer looked ready to kill me, I slowly stood up, which brought his eyes to me again, this time confused.
"How do neither of us remember who we are?" He asked. I shrugged, walking to the bags I had seen earlier. I left the blue one to him and took the green one for myself, as that was the color for our respective travil size beds, which was stupid logic but I didn't have anything better to go off of.
I ignored the boy coming to my side and taking the blue bag, and opened my bag. The first thing I saw was a bunch of eye blinding orange shirts, which ew, why were they all that color? I dug deeper, finding some jeans and shorts, as well as a jacket. I took all the clothes out, which was maybe 5 pairs all together, and put them next to me. The next thing in the bag was a baggy of what looked like really miniature rice krispies and a flask of something. I opened the flask, finding a apple juice looking liquid. Nectar and ambrosia, my mind supplied. I decided to put the fact that I had god's food, and knew that it was, to the side. Turning back I found some bottles of water and some granola bars.
At the very bottom was a wallet. I grabbed that and put the bag to the side. I opened it to find a driver's ID, some cash, and drachmas. Again, what's with the godly stuff? I turned back to the ID. There was a picture of boy with tousled black hair, a deep tanned color (maybe he was Latino?), and sea green eyes. He was smiling in the photo, but didn't look actually happy, something in his eyes spoke of something else. I tore my eyes from the picture to the rest of the card, particularly, the name. Perseus Jackson. Huh. I assumed that this was mine, but I couldn't be entirely sure. I looked around for something reflective to look at to see if I looked like the boy in the picture. There wasn't. I frowned. Well I-
The rest of my thought process was interrupted by a hand landing on my shoulder. I jumped, looking over my shoulder quickly, to see it was just the blondy.
"Holy shit man. Don't just appear like that. I think I was scared halfway to Hades and back."
He frowned in apology, removing his hand from my shoulder. "Sorry, its just that I found an ID, but I couldn't check to see if it was mine. Could you look at it and tell me if it is?"
"Sure. Could you do the same though? I also found one." I took the card from him, while handing over the one I had. Looking at the card I could immediately tell it was the same boy as the one behind me. Same sky blue eyes, same blonde hair in a military cut, same scar on his lip.
I looked at the name quickly. Jason Grace. So his name is Jason. I turned to give it back to him.
"Yeah it's you." He gave me back the one I had found while smiling, which again wow, how were his teeth so white?
"Yours too."
"Thanks! So let's start over. Hi! I'm Perseus Jackson, at your service." I said, standing up to bow.
His lips twitched. "Hello. I'm Jason Grace. Nice to meet you."
