Chapter 2

It had been a few days since she saw that girl but she couldn’t get her out of her head. She wasn’t quite sure what this meant but she didn’t fully care. She sat up and looked around her room for the millionth time. It was very neat, since that was one of the only things she could do in here. But it was also big and spacious. But sadly it didn’t have much in it. But she did have a window, and that is all she needed. She got out of bed and went to the window, even though it was locked, it didn’t mean she couldn’t look outside. This day was a rainy day, storm clouds bellowed their cry for help, thunder flashing, showing its anger. But Luna wasn’t afraid like most people, she understood the lightning and Thunder. It was just calling for help, but nobody understood it. They just saw it as a threat of danger. But it wasn’t. It was beautiful, Like that girl Luna saw. Luna shook her head and looked down, wondering why she couldn’t get that girl out of her head. I mean, sure, she was beautiful, but Luna never talked to her. She looked out the window and began to see the sun.

It was night time now, Luna had been just laying on her bed, head hanging down so she saw everything from a different angle. Then she heard footsteps, and talking. She decided to check it out and got off the bed. Luna went over to her door and stuck her ear against it. This time she was able to hear somebody, but not make out what he was saying, it was pretty quiet. Then she heard it. More footsteps, she listened more carefully and was able to hear what they were saying.

“Sir!” He said, sounding a little surprised but worried, Luna immediately recognized the voice because it belonged to the guard, she was able to tell the guard sounded like a teenager.

“What the actual f—k are you doing here?” Replied an older voice. She immediately recognized it and kept listening.

“Just checking on things sir.” The guard sounded anxious. And Luna heard medal moving, was she sifting feet or moving?

“Back to your station. You’re not allocated in this area. Especially the medical bay.” Luna was annoyed, why wasn’t he allowed in the medical bay?!

“Bu-“ the guard got cut off before he could even put a word in.

“DID I STUTTER?! BACK TO YOUR STATION. NOW!!”’ The older voice replied. Luna felt bad for the guard, he didn’t deserve this treatment, just then she heard a sword being drawn and immediately knew what that meant. She ran to the other side of her room, and hid on the other side of her bed. Not wanting to hear what would happen next.

It had been a few hours since she hid, but she was too timid to come out from her hiding spot. She was too scared too. But she was starting to realize that even if she got hurt, there's no way out of this torture. So she peaked out from her hiding spot. No one was in her room. Good. She stood up and went to the window, the storm was gone now but clouds were still in the sky. But they looked like purple pieces of cotton, and she could see the light of the moon, peeking through the clouds, like it was fixing the seams of the clouds after the storm. She looked at the village, lights were on and people were walking around, she wished she could be one of those people. One of those people who were not trapped in their own room. Then she heard a knock on her door.
