Chapter 1
Luna was hiding in her room from her brother, Eclipse. She wasn’t in the mood to deal with her brother and his criticism. She looked out the window to see clear skies, and pretty flowers. She longed to go out there, but she was never allowed outside this stupid castle. She wasn’t even allowed to go into the courtyard! It was so stupid. It was even more stupid that she couldn’t even see anyone, not even the guards, servants, or maids, just her stupid brother. Luna was so done being cooped up in this castle. But she couldn’t go outside, Luna knew she would most likely be caught by her brother. But she just wanted to see and meet people her own age, make friends like a normal ten year old would, she just wants to be a normal girl, a normal girl who could go to public school and play. Not practice balance and dance. No one in the kingdom knew about her and it was so annoying.
Just then she heard someone talking outside her room, it sounded like someone around her age. Luna stood up and peaked outside the door, it was a girl her age talking to a maid that looked somewhat like the girl. The girl had dark skin, short brown hair, with dark greenish-blue eyes, she was beautiful. Luna was amazed seeing someone that pretty, she couldn’t take her eyes off that girl. All of a sudden a guard walked up to them and Luna quietly shut the door. She knew if her brother found out about what she just did she would be in major trouble. But she didn’t really care at this point, she always got in trouble one way or another, and she lived to annoy him. Plus, she was starting to get bored, and wanted to know what was happening, so she quietly opened her door again, she got a good look at the guard now. He had standard armor, but it almost completely covered his body, he had a visor too so his eyes weren't seen. He was a Color Walker for sure, but she’d never seen a Blue Color Walker, then again she never saw anyone minus her brother. And to top it all off he had black hair, it kinda looked like the dark sky, but when the Moon comes out, but his front hair was the most beautiful, it looked like a colorful sunset. Luna was amazed. But she snapped out of her daze to listen to what they were saying. But they just walked off, leaving the little girl behind. She was confused but didn’t really care and closed her door. Then she heard someone speak.
“Hello?”
Luna was immediately on guard, she wasn’t sure if someone was talking to her. But she heard the voice again.
“Hello?”
Luna was beginning to be curious, so she opened her door a smidge, there, standing in front of her was the girl, Luna noticed she had black glasses too.
“Hello there, for a second I thought I was talking to myself” the girl told Luna, Luna now could hear her voice better, it sounded like a young girl's voice but also calming. Luna wasn’t quite sure what to do and just closed her door.
