Lost in the RainForest
Mauline ran through the trees, turning in random directions, getting even more lost.
She shot up in the air, but she still couldn't find the familiar look of her nest.
As Mauline started to land, she heard a dragon calling her name.
"Mauline! Mauline~!" Mauline thought it sounded like the MudWing from her nightmare. But she had to make sure.
As she was close to landing, she squinted her eyes as a dragon was coming up. They had a scroll in their claws.
'Oh, no...' Mauline whined in her thoughts. 'It cannot be. It cannot!'
"Oh, Mauline, there you are. It is about time I've found you~." The MudWing said.
"No...You can't be real!" Mauline said.
"Oh, I am real alright~!" The MudWing replied. They took out a necklace and tossed it at Mauline.
"This is for you." Was all the MudWing said before they turned around and walked off into the forest.
Mauline watched them walk off, confused.
She looked at the dimond studded necklace.
She put it on and was shocked by what happened.
First, everything in her vision went dark. 'Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no!' Mauline thought.
There was the MudWing with the scroll in their talons.
They offered, "With my help, you can kill all of your enimes."
'NO!' Mauline screamed at herself in her thoughts. It was the last nightmare. She had run out of time.
When her eyes opened, she was different.
"Now...now I can kill my enimes...HahahahahahahaHA!" After that she vanished.
Opal came out of the shadows, eye wide.
Opal spread her wings and shot off, flying as fast as she could.
Soon, Opal managed to find Mauline's house. Mauline's Mom, the seawing known as Redwood, asked Opal, "Where is Mauline?"
Opal told her what she had saw.
"NO! No, no, no, no, no!" Redwood wailed.
Redwood's loud wails drew Mauline's other Mother, the Leafwing known as Cloud, and she asked, "What is it?"
Opal repeated what she had said to Redwood.
Cloud gasped and shuddered.
Four: The New Villian.
Mauline stepped over to where she scented the MudWing. WHERE in the WORLD WAS HE?!
Mauline used her Leafspeak to get onto a tree and made it get bigger.
Soon, she roared out, "MudWing! Where on the THREE MOONS ARE YOU?!?!"
She heard a, “Whose there?”
Mauline flew down from her overgrown tree to see the dragon up close.
A MudWing. With a scroll in their talons.
“About time! I looked for you for forever!” Mauline said, landing.
The MudWing glanced at the necklace and said, “So, I see you’ve put it on.”
“Yes, I have. Don’t change the subject. I am ready to join you to kill all of our enemies.” Mauline, at the beginning of her sentence, snarled, then calmed down.
“Ooooh, alright.” The MudWing said. “Follow me.”
He took off to the sky and Mauline darted after him.
They flew around the continent of Phyrria for a little while.
“Where on Phyrria are we going, Mudwing?” Mauline asked.
The MudWing glanced back at her and said, “You’ll see.”
She snarled, but kept quiet. ‘He doesn’t know that there is a 99 percent chance I will betray him and take that scroll from him. Maybe it is the source of his power. Haha! If that is true then he wouldn’t have power, and I would be more powerful than him! Three MOONS! Such a GREAT IDEA, me!’ Mauline thought, smirking behind the MudWing’s back.
“We’re here.” The MudWing said suddenly.
