Chapter 6
[A/N]: I used Manga Chishiya's personality mostly as base in this fanfiction, instead of his live action version played by the Rainbow Man. But in terms of other things, I visualized and imagined his physical traits as Nijiro. Enjoy!
Fluff chap
He actually kept his promise. Chishiya Shuntaro paid you just so you'll have perfect amount of sleep. You think it was a dumb idea, but you didn't voice that out. You resigned from one of your part time job, then had your first complete sleep after months of not having it.
Chishiya asked you why are you making things hard for yourself, which you didn't answer, obviously. You felt that he'll might use that against you in the future.
There are many dislikable things about him and his personality, but one of the two things that stood special was the fact that he believes that he's the greatest person. Many times that you'd seen him eyeing you like you were some sort of an experiment. You didn't know what he wants with you and you were itching to ask him that.
Some of his personality traits remind you of your own, and didn't like any bit of it. You dislike him a lot. It wasn't enough to be considered hate since he never actually did something wrong or against your morals, but he certainly is getting on your nerves.
Another thing you dislike about him, is that he's able to hold meaningful conversation. You dislike that you liked that about him. When he talks about things seriously, you can't help but to listen and wonder about it.
However, there are things that you liked about him.
First is his care for Kuina and Ippei. For a cold hearted menace like him, to stay friends with the two, it's saying something.
Second was his pretty face and his soft hair. Because you never really paid attention to him at first, you never noticed how beautiful he is. Everything about his face is perfect, and the beauty mark below his left eye added more appeal to his appearance.
Third was his neatness that opposes your messiness especially when it comes to organizing things. He balance things for you.
Fourth was his voice. His voice was deep and calming. You feel several things in your stomach when he speaks. An acquaintance told you that those things were just butterflies fluttering on your stomach.
Lastly was his money. He technically became your sugar daddy. Whenever he wants to hang out with you, with or without his two friends, he pays you triple of your daily wage on the part time job you are supposed to work at that time. Didn't matter how long the hangout was. He's paying you wholly.
You are currently sitting in his house's couch, waiting for him to change clothes. His house was near to your university. It wasn't big, it was a two-storey house and it was enough for one to two people to live in. Despite its minimalist vibe, you knew that everything here was expensive.
You kept stiff on your position where Chishiya left you, anxious that you'll hit something here and accidentally break it. You heard a door opening, indicating he's done changing clothes.
The two of you were supposed to be partners in a project assigned by a professor, however, when he gave the students the chance to do things individually, you and Chishiya grabbed that opportunity and passed your outputs separately, just a day after the professor gave you the project.
Chishiya still wanted to be with you, and he decided that hangouts in the city was getting tiring, so instead, he asked you to spend your entire day with him, well at least before your 3 PM shift in an irrelevant food establishment, as what he calls it, not bothering to know the name since you work at many place. It was just nine in the morning, giving you enough hours to enjoy each other's company.
The two of you were an unexpected pair. You two were two similar that people never thought that you would get along with each other. The both of you were cold, harsh, and terrifying. Neither of you two were afraid to cut off people if they show slight incompetence. The only difference between him and you was you give chances, while he doesn't, making people prefer you more than him.
You were zoning out that you didn't notice the money he put on the coffee table in front of the couch you were sitting on.
He sat at the left end of the couch and made himself comfortable as he started playing games on his console, one thing he found out to be entertaining and kept it as his hobby.
“You can watch television of you want.” which you did. You scroll through shows and shows finding the perfect one to watch, as he already finished three levels of his game. Shows felt uninteresting until you saw [favorite show].
Picking the show, you lied down at Chishiya's couch with your head on a pillow over his lap and binge watched the show. As the next phase of his game loads, he petted your head and played with your hair.
He looked down at you and he saw your eyes sparkling with anticipation as you watch the show you picked. You look satisfied and tranquil. He liked it a lot. You both settled in a comfortable peace.
He played with his game again, and he noticed your eyes slowly. He turned his console off and the television as soon as you started to doze off.
At exactly eleven, you woke up and rose up from your position. Chishiya wasn't under your head anymore, ad you had a blanket covering you. You heard him talking with an attitude.
He was on a call. He was petrified when he saw you awake.
“Did I wake you up?” you shook your head no. “No, Kuina. I'm not handing them the phone. Ippei, not you too... Yeah bye... You two as well.” He cut off the call and his annoyed face returned to his resting face.
He sighed and put his phone down. He looked at you again and smirked after seeing your hair properly.
“What?” you looked at him confused.
“Your hair looks like a bird's nest. What do you want for lunch?”
