Chapter 1

In the night, there was a small home by the sea just outside the city of Mustafu, Japan. Surrounded by woods in the silent area with no one to bother the ones living there. In that small house there resided two people, a mother and her beloved son. They liked their privacy and very rarely ever made contact with the people of the city. Though, this reclusive behavior had not come without reason.

"Mama! Mama!" Yelled a small child, whose smile shined as bright as the sun and twice as pure.

"Yes sweetie?" A young woman with dark green hair tied back into a bun smiled at the small child below her.

"I brushed my teeth and got into my pajamas! Does that mean I get my story now?" The boy asked innocently.

"Oh, already? Okay, I'll be there in a minute. I just need to finish the dishes." She told the boy who flashed a toothy grin and ran to his room.

Soon the woman washed and dried the dishes she and her son had used for dinner. She then proceeded to gingerly walk over to her son's room. Walking through the door she saw the green haired boy all snuggled under the covers of his bed with his red shark plushie by his side, excitedly awaiting for the story.

"Alright Izuku, what story do you wanna hear tonight?" She asked, but she was sure she already knew the answer.

"The story about the great heroes of the sea please!" He requested, his smiled growing wider showing off his rows of small sharp teeth.

"Again? Well okay." She said as she took a spot on his bed and hugged him tight as she began to speak.......

Once upon a time, there lived a fishermen. He was not great, nor was he wise, but his heart was purer than any form of gold. One day on one of his voyages he saw that how terrible people were treating the poor folk who had done nothing to earn such treatment.

"Set these people free!" He demanded with all hsi might, but the people did not listen.

They simply laughed and went about harming the innocent. The fishermen could not bare to see how such humans could exist. He wanted to attack and free the slaves from their tyranny but he knew it would all prove fruitless.

'What could one brave soul do against an army of wickedness?' He thought to himself.

Disheartened he had to face the facts and returned to his homeland. There he saw all of his friends, his people, all with smiles on their faces. But all he could think about were those he abandoned. The innocent people who were suffering at the hands of those who felt themselves beyond them.

The days passed and it was at the first sunrise of summer, when the bright light shinned the most brilliantly, he knew of what he had to to do. He gathered with his friends and allies to meet with them in hopes to gather more good hearted men to his cause.

"Hear me friends!" His voiced called, gathering the ears of many before him. "Innocents are being treated like trash by people who sees them as so. I cannot stand idly by while such monstrosities are being committed, but I can't do it alone. So today I ask not as mere friends but as my brothers in arms, will you lend me your strength to free them?!"

His words echoed throughout the area as the individuals processed what had been asked of them. They were about to risk their lives for people they didn't know and for all they know they wouldn't do the same for the. Then a single hand raised in the air.

"I will join!" The person yelled, causing the stir among the others. Soon everyone in attendance had raised their hands and agreed to this venture. Though none would expect how the journey would end, they did not care for it didn't matter.

~CUT~

*BANG**CRASH**BOOM* The sounds burst through the air. There stood the fisherman atop his vessel marked by a large red sun, cannons afire and flames burning bright. The screams of the former prisoners rang loudly as they ran passed their savior, terrified of the destruction in his wake.

The people ran with nary a thought of a 'thank you' for their hero. The only thing on there mind was escape and to return to their homes. Wanting nothing more than to forget everything that had happened in the living hell they were in. The fishermen didn't care so long as they got away safely, their lives were more important than thanks.

"After that day, he was remembered as a hero by those he saved and their loved ones, but to everyone else he was a villain." The woman said, her child gaining a confused expression.

"But he saved them? Why did people think he's bad?"

"The very bad people holding them hostage made it that way. He freed their property and so he broke the law." She explained but the boy was to innocent to know what she meant. "Someday you'll understand, and when you do you'll know what the fisherman did was good."

"I will mama. And then I'll become a hero just like him!" He hollered exited was a fist in the air.

"I know you will Izuku." She smiled, giving the small boy a tight hug and small kiss to the forehead. "Now go to sleep. Even sharks need rest." She said slightly petting his small dorsal fin.

"Okay mama. Goodnight." He said, wrapping himself in his blanket and laying on his side.

"Goodnight sweetheart." She whispered as she stepped out of his room.

She walked along the hall to her own room so she could get some rest herself. Once inside she began to undress to change into some proper sleepwear. During this, her attention was grabbed when she caught sight of her back's reflection in the mirror of her room. What specifically caught her attention was a large mark on her back that was shaped as a sun. She touched it with small tears developing in her eyes.

"Tiger."

~Flashback~

"Filthy humans!" A giant blue man yelled with long black hair, sharp fangs, and a nose that resembled a saw. He was kicking at a young green-haired woman who was holding a small brunette child protectively.

"Arlong stop!" A large blue man with tusks pointed out of his mouth, wearing a kimono, yelled at his crew mate

"Arlong stop!" A large blue man with tusks pointed out of his mouth, wearing a kimono, yelled at his crew mate.

"Arlong stop!" A large blue man with tusks pointed out of his mouth, wearing a kimono, yelled at his crew mate

"What's going on?!" Yelled a large red man with a large red sun on his chest.

"What's going on?!" Yelled a large red man with a large red sun on his chest

"We found this woman and kid in one of the barrels. They must've snuck on when we were attack Mary Geoise."

"Are there any others?" He asked.

"No captain Tiger."

The woman looked up with a fearful expression as the child she was holding continued to smile creepily. The man named Tiger looked at them with an unreadable expression as he watched teh two stowaways. The child bleed onto the floor and squirmed out of the woman's grasped to try and clean it.

"I'm sorry." The girl apologized, still cleaning the blood. "We just wanted to get home. I can clean and I won't complain or cry. I'll do anything you. Just please take us home."

The crew stared at the child in horror, save Arlong as he merely scowled. She was so desensitized by what the celestial dragons had done that she wouldn't stop smiling and was willing to take any treatment, just to live another day.

"Koala." The woman said grabbing hold of her again, holding her tightly once again.

"We'll take them home." Tiger said plainly, surprising the crew.

"You can't be serious?!" Arlong yelled in retaliation.

"When we first set sail, what was the first thing we vowed?" Tiger asked his crew.

"We vowed that we'd free our fishman brothers and anyone else the celestial dragons had enslaved." Answered Jinbe.

"They have done nothing to deserve this treatment so we will take them back to their homes and help them put this entire experience behind them." Tiger said as he crew, some more begrudgingly then others, agreed to follow their captains orders.

He walked over to the two and offered the woman his hand. The woman before him was still afraid but grew calmer as she slowly took.

"What's you name miss?"

"I-I'm Inko. Inko Midoriya. And this is Koala." She introduced as Tiger gave them a smile.

"My name is Fisher Tiger. Welcome to the ship of the Sun Pirates." He smiled, making Inko's heart flutter.

~Flashback End~

There Inko sat on her bed, tears streaming down her face as she remembered the day she met her savior. Then soon after, the day the father of her son had perished. Together for but a mere night before the cruel world claimed his life nearly five years ago.

"He reminds me of you more and more everyday." She chuckled dryly to herself. "I just I could have told you before you died Tiger." Her tears still flowing as she laid herself down, staring at a flag she hung above her bed. "If you were here, I think you'd say our little boy is like the sun, bright and warm. And he wants to be like you, a hero I always tell him you are, no matter how much you denied it."

Her eyes slowly closed, darkness enveloping her as sleep graced her with its presence. Filling her night with dreams of the future. Her son, all grown and mature, waving his sun spangled banner proudly. Showing everyone that he is The Sun Hero.
