Luci?
Summary
Lucia Zabini(Blaise's mother) and Lucius share a nickname and argue over Narcissa. Snape is just a wee thing scared of them both whilst Narcissa is having the time of her life.

For once in their miserable school lives the week was quiet, slow, though no one dares say anything about it in fear of jinxing themselves. Slytherin common rooms were quite grand and held enough space for the housemates to do many activities at once. Lucius had become a prefect and as such he was deemed the title "House Father" becoming the butt of most dad jokes made. Narcissa was, as always, proud of his accomplishments being the dutiful pureblood partner to Lucius. However she had not been given an honorary parental title for reasons that everyone knew. As of so far Lucius and Narcissa have been more of an on and off couple.

Lucia Zabini, a young woman in the same year as Lucius, had slithered her way into the Ice Queen's heart through subtle flirting and a dash of off campus serenading. She's managed to break the normalcy of Narcissa Black and fracture her relationship with the infamous Lucius Malfoy. Despite circumstances both Lucia and Lucius don't abhor each other. In fact, Lucius found Lucia's determination to have Narcissa admirable and understandable. Lucia liked being a sort of frenemy towards Lucius, it provided with riveting conversation and them two being able to go two versus one on debates and arguments against Narcissa. Even if most of the time she won said debates and arguments.

It would not be weird to see the two rivaling lovers in the same space, in fact it was odd to see the opposite, unless they were each alone with Narcissa. Andromeda teases her blonde sister for the circumstance she's been brought upon, applauding her even for being able to snatch two of the most influential Slytherins into her grasp.

However, the only hiccup to the two rivals was the similarity in name. This brings confusing occasions in which anyone in their social circle would call them each "Luci". Both male and female responded to the nickname and till this point no one has called either with it whilst they both stood in the same room.

Under different times the scene unfolding would be weird and understandably so. Lucia and Lucius had both sat in one of the small tables near the couches close to the rounding glass wall. Both seemed deep in their studies, occasionally conversing about the topics on hand. They found it best to come to each other when in need of a study buddy as they both held the same classes and held just about the same grade. Despite having many books and pieces of parchment around them the distances between the two across the table was short, a foot and a half's distance at most. No one around commented on it, it wasn't in their place, however they all assumed that somehow and someway the two have come to agreement on the topic of how they'd both date Narcissa. Which couldn't be farther from the truth because really both are possessive towards the fifth year.

The quiet ambiance of the common rooms proved to be a good space and honestly a much less crowded area than the library. Narcissa, with Severus not too far behind; she's somehow adopted the little first year under her wing, had been searching for either lover to distract herself with. The time has come for her to properly introduce Severus to Lucia and Lucius and seeing them in such close distance to each other honestly made her chest soar despite knowing that the two could never share her.

"Watch this Severus, they'll bicker soon enough for the most oddest of reasons" she whispered at the first year, crouching down a bit but not too much. A lady from the most noble house of Black mustn't crouch to reach a child's height.

The boy, confused and intrigued, had only nodded his head. To which Narcissa then pat the top of before smiling in the direction of her two lovers.

"Luci, darling, you must meet this adorable little boy I've found lurking 'round the halls" she spoke aloud to them.

Both had sharply turned their heads at the mention of their nickname and then turned to face each other once Narcissa ceased speaking. "She was speaking to me" they said at the same time. "No, stop it this instant, she meant to call me" they both said. An aggravated groan left Lucia's throat while a scoff left Lucius'. "Why would she bring YOU a child? You hate them" Lucia retorted. To which Lucius responded "I don't hate children, I only strongly dislike the ones here." Lucia crossed her as and rolled her eyes at him before directing her vision to the light of her life and the child she's brought towards them.

"Go on then cara mia, introduce us to the boy. We see the green of our house on his robes, which can only mean he can't go lower than tolerable." Lucia presented an encouraging smile to match adoring eyes.

Lucius, living up to his "House Father" title, closed up one of the books he gathered in his hand and turned to the boy and his on and off lover with a very slight grin. "Go on boy, my associate and I don't have much time."

"Associate?" Lucia mumbled confusingly to him.

Severus was given an encouraging shove from his back and his feet brought him closer to his upperclassmen housemates. "It is very… honoring— to meet you Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Zabini. My name is Severus Snape."

Lucius let out a hum of approval "Polite little hatchling."

Lucia's smile grew wider, however held politeness behind it rather than glee "It is very nice to meet you Severus. Don't let Narcissa's eldest sister hear your name though, she'll give you a horrible nickname of you don't provide one for her to use."

Narcissa, ever the proud house ''mother'', had hummed in approval. "Well, absolutely smashing to have hatchling meet you two. Now, which one of you will I spend the rest of my day with?"

At this Lucius and Lucia sat up abruptly from their relaxed positions "Obviously me." They both exclaimed. Blue eyes squinted and equally squinting green ones with a huff.

Narcissa had pulled Severus in front of her and places hands on his shoulders "The boy will pick."

At this both rivaling lovers had become intrigued and stared at the, now frightened by the coldness in features, young Slytherin.

The boy wring his hands together and had very obviously became nervous as green and blue eyes stared expectantly on him. Severus had soon answered shakily "Based on— introduction… m-my choosing is, well, the Madame Zabini."

A smug smile grew on plush dark lips and Lucius scoffed but accepted defeat, oh well he'd just have to win next time.

"Lucia is just fine hatchling, or Luci" she responded to the boy. The older Slytherin had packed her things together then walked up to Narcissa to plant a deep kiss on her lips then pat Severus's head. "Youre welcome to stay with the House Father, boy. If you'd like to that is." She added after running a hand in his, admittedly, somewhat greasy hair before enlacing her fingers Narcissa's and leading her away for some debauchery. Leaving Severus standing awkwardly whilst a grimacing Lucius went back to his studies and after a while of acknowledging that the first year was frozen he pointed at the seat where Lucia sat in earlier "Don't just stand there boy, take a seat. Ramble on about something, anything." The boy did as told and had began speaking whilst Lucius continued on with his work, listening and engaging with the boy whilst still focused on the tasks at hand.
