The next week passed without a hitch. Akko avoided confrontation with Mitsuki and Mitsuki avoided confrontation with Akko. Said dual-haired teen started meeting up with Kyo and Anri on weekends and days she skipped school to work on her training.

One morning Akko was confronted by her brother, who stopped her from leaving the house.

“Where do you even go?” He asked. Akko knew he wasn’t concerned, he was most likely told to do this by their mother.

“Where I go shouldn’t be any of your, or mom’s, business,” she scoffed. “And don’t try to pull the big brother bullshit on me, I’m older than you,” She walked around him, hitting his shoulder as he turned to look at her with a glare.

“If you must know, I’m going to fix my hair, it’s getting too long and needs to be dyed again.” She said before leaving the house. It wasn’t a total lie, her hair had been annoying her recently and needed a new dye job.

She walked to the station and hopped on the train heading for Shibuya. As Akko waited, she plugged her earphones into her ears and pressed play, letting the sounds of her music drown out the silence of the subway.

Once she arrived at the station in Shibuya, Kyo and Anri were waiting for her on the platform, along with Seiken and Yuuko. Akko removed her earbuds and stuffed them in her pocket before joining the group as they walked out together.

“How’s it going with your kaa-san?” Anri asked as soon as they made it out of the station. Everyone was waiting for her response as she sighed.

“Fine, I guess, we haven’t talked since the argument,” She waved them off, “it’s fine though, it’s not like we’re completely ignoring each other, just waiting until the tension smooths out.”

The rest of the walk to the tattoo parlour was filled with chatter from Anri, Kyo, Yuuko, and Akko, with a few words put in by Seiken. When they arrived, Izana was waiting inside with all the things needed to help fix Akko’s hair.

While getting her hair fixed by Akko, she and Izana talked about the prospect of a tattoo for him, one that would most likely match the one she has on her collarbone. Everyone else had one already, with Anri’s being a direct match to Akko’s, although on the opposite collarbone.

Seiken’s was on his head, Kyo’s their shoulder, and Yuuko’s her shoulder blade. Izana was thinking about getting it on his right shoulder so he was opposite of Kyo.

“I think it’s a good idea,” Akko said, as Izana dried her hair. “Although, who would do it?” She asked, shaking her head.

“Ken-kun, most likely,” Izana shrugged, putting away all of the stuff hr had brought and sweeping her hair off the floor. “I wouldn’t mind you doing it, we all know you know how.” Izana chuckled. Akko laughed as well, he wasn’t wrong.

After weeks of watching them work, she knew how to work a tattoo machine, heck she had even done a tattoo for a big burly man and he liked it. She wasn’t doubtful of her skill.

“Fine, I’ll do it,” she sighed, “Ko-cchi!” Said non-binary poked their head out from the top of the stairs.

“Yes?” They asked, looking a little confused.

“I’m borrowing your station, Zana-nii wants a tattoo.” Akko explained, receiving a thumbs up from the blonde teen.

“Why not use mine?” Izana pouted as Akko dragged him over to Kyo’s station.

“Because your station is small,” Akko shrugged, forcing him into the seat. “I’ll print out the stencil, hold on.” She left to grab the iPad that they used to print out stencils and found the dragon tattoo which they had saved.

She printed it out and grabbed the stencil off of the printer and went back to Kyo’s station. When she got back Izana had gotten comfortable in a good position for Akko to apply the stencil and tattoo the dragon.

He had removed his jacket and shirt and waited patiently. Seiken and the others were sitting at their stations with the exception of Kyo who sat on an extra chair in their station.

“I don’t need supervision.” Akko rolled her eyes at her friends as she prepared the machine.

“We know.” Anri assured her.

“We just wanna watch 'cause it’s Zana-cchi’s first tattoo.” Yuuko added with a shrug, the others nodding in reply. Akko rolled her eyes and tyed her hair up in a ponytail before grabbing the stencil and placing it on Izana’s arm.

For the next three hours Akko worked on the tattoo. Eventually customers came in so the others had to attend to them while Akko worked. Kyo didn’t have any appointments so they worked at the desk.

When finished Akko wrapped the tattoo and cleaned up Kyo’s station. Izana put his shirt back on, but tied his jacket around his waist, and helped clean before the two headed up to the second floor lounge.

While Izana went to the bathroom, Akko turned the tv on and put on a movie she knew Izana liked. When said male got back from the bathroom he took a seat on one of the bean bags after dragging it over in front of the tv.

Akko shamelessly flopped into his lap, her head leaning against the whitenette’s chest. Izana grunted as she landed on him, but didn’t attempt to move her and instead removed the hair tie from Akko’s hair as she started the movie.

The two stayed in that position until the movie was over, which was around the time the shop closed for lunch break and the others headed up to the lounge as well.
