“It could be worse.” Wade offered happily.
Lester stabbed his hand. As Wade let out a pained cry, Lester stood up and examined their cell. “Perfect,” he muttered.
Wade finally pulled the knife out of his hand. “See, they left us with our weapons,” he continued as if uninterrupted. “Plus we’re locked away together, which is perfect for s-”
“Shut up,” Lester snarled at him. “This is your fault.”
Wade blinked innocently at him. “Is this the bit where we fuck?”
Lester wished he’d stabbed Wade in a more vital organ. “This is the bit where you shut up and we find a way out of here.”
Wade made a hmphing sound. “I like it better when we fuck,” he muttered.
