“Please, don’t leave.”
Charles hesitated at the door. “We shouldn’t have done this.”
Erik was sitting up, the bedsheets wrapped awkwardly around his body. “You weren’t complaining last night,” he reminded him angrily. He had thought- Maybe Charles had finally understood, maybe he could get over his naivety, they could be together. He had been lying to himself.
“Erik,” Charles sighed.
Erik narrowed his eyes and let himself slump back on the bed. “Good morning Charles.”
Charles took a step back towards him, before shaking his head. “Goodbye Erik.”
