Charles Xavier/Erik Lehnsherr - “We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
“We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?” Erik asked dryly.
Charles grinned at him, hair plastered to the side of his face. “This isn’t just rain,” he informed him smugly. “I have a feeling it’s a gift from our newest prospect.”
Erik looked up at the sky. “You believe this is Miss Munroe’s work?”
“Ororo is supposed to be a ‘weather goddess’, according to reports.”
Erik made a noise of assent. “Feels like real rain.”
“Well, I have some theories-”
Erik had launched himself forward and kissed him.
Charles gasped and relaxed into his grip.
Finally Erik dropped his head slightly. “Let’s go find her then.”
He turned on his heel and began to walk away.
Charles closed his mouth and, after a pause, caught up to him, catching his hand in his own.
