Power Man/Iron Fist - "You Came Back"
"You came back.”
Luke said it softly, not daring to look at the man on the other side of the room.
Danny made a noise of agreement. “It seems to be a reoccuring habit.”
Luke gave a small chuckle. “Yeah.” He finally managed to look up Danny. “Did they kick you out?” he teased.
Danny smiled faintly. “I missed video games.”
Luke nodded. “They are pretty cool,” he agreed.
They stood staring at each other.
“There were a few other things I missed,” Danny added finally.
Luke raised an eyebrow in mock surprise. “More than video games.”
Danny nodded and took a step closer to him. “More than video games,” he agreed.
Luke pretended to think. “Was it the kung-fu movies?”
Danny made a noise similar to a snort. “No.” He took another step.
“The beach, right? Not many opportunities to catch some sun up in K’un-Lun, right?”
Danny’s smile widened.
“Chocolate,” Luke continued. “Processed sugar. I hear those things are addictive.”
Danny was directly in front of him. “None of those were correct,” he informed him.
Luke gave a mock-exasperated sigh. “Guess I didn’t know you as well I thought.”
“That does seem to be true.” Danny told him, placing his hands on Luke’s arms. He leant up and placed a gentle kiss on Luke’s lips. “Luckily we’ll have time to make up for that lack.”
Luke wrapped his arms around Danny. “I guess we will,” he smiled back.
