Charles Xavier/Erik Lehnsherr - "I Can't Let You Do That"
“I can’t let you do that.”
Charles sighed and petted Erik’s hand softly. “I’m afraid we have no choice. The child only responds to me.”
“The child is dangerous.”
“So am I.” He smiled at Erik with his baby blues.
Erik gave him an unimpressed glance. “I thought we were supposed to do this together.”
“We are together,” Charles reminded him. “In more ways than one. But, this isn’t an exact science, and sometimes to achieve our goals, we must, I’m afraid, spend time apart.”
Erik scowled. “He only responds to you because he wants you.”
Charles’ smile deepened. The teen’s infatuation with him was unexpected, to say the least. “Be that as it may….”
Erik leant over and kissed him. “Fine,” he said reluctantly. He bit Charles’ lip. “But let me leave a few reminders of who you actually belong to.”
