Spider-Man/Nova - "I Just Want This"
“I just want this.”
Peter wasn’t looking at Sam. His head was ducked down, a hand running through his hair.
Sam was gaping at him. “I don’t…” His brain wasn’t working, and with good reason. Peter Benjamin Parker, aka Spider-Man, aka Sam Alexander’s secret crush, had just kissed him.
And now he was doing the adorable confused puppy look.
Peter’s head darted up at the words, Sam’s aborted attempt at some reply. “Okay,” he said firmly. He turned and-
“Believe you waited this long to tell me,” Sam said in an annoyed tone.
Peter span back to face him. “What?”
“I mean, we coulda been dating for ages now. We could’ve gone to that party last week together, as like a couple instead of two losers hanging around the edges.”
Peter was the one to gape now. “What?!”
“I can’t believe this,” Sam moaned. “All those missed opportunities.”
There was a glare forming on Peter’s face. “Sam.”
“If you’d told me you were gay earlier, I would’ve hit on you ages ago,” Sam continued.
“BI,” Peter corrected automatically. “You’re not making any sense.”
Sam stepped towards him and placed his hands on either side of Peter’s face. “This,” Sam told him, and kissed him.
