Unreciprocated Love (Redd and Greyson)
Redd Rockridge had been harbouring a secret for a long time now. A secret that he feared would change the dynamic between him and Greyson Grayson. Greyson was his friend, a confidant, and someone he trusted more than anyone else in the world. Redd didn't want to jeopardise that friendship, but he knew that he had to tell Greyson how he felt.
As he made his way through the opulent halls of The Sexy Brutale, Redd couldn't help but feel his heart racing. He had been planning this moment for weeks now, and he had rehearsed what he was going to say over and over again in his head. But now that he was here, standing in front of Greyson's room, all of his carefully crafted words seemed to have escaped him.
Taking a deep breath, Redd knocked on the door, and after a few moments, it opened to reveal Greyson, looking as charming and handsome as ever.
"Hey, Redd," Greyson said with a smile. "What brings you here?"
Redd took another deep breath and mustered up all the courage he could. "Greyson, there's something I need to tell you. Something that I've been keeping from you for a long time now."
Greyson's smile faded slightly as he looked at Redd with concern. "What is it, Redd? You know you can tell me anything."
"I know, Greyson," Redd said, his voice barely above a whisper. "And that's why I have to tell you this. I'm in love with you, Greyson. I have been for a long time now, and I couldn't keep it a secret any longer."
Greyson's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, Redd feared that he had made a huge mistake. But then, slowly, Greyson's expression softened, and he reached out to take Redd's hand.
"Redd, I had no idea," Greyson said softly. "But you have to know that I care about you deeply. I might not feel the same way, but that doesn't change anything between us. We'll always be friends, Redd, no matter what."
Redd felt a sense of relief wash over him as he looked into Greyson's eyes. He knew that he had taken a risk, but he was glad that he had finally confessed his feelings. And even though Greyson didn't feel the same way, Redd knew that their friendship would endure.
"Thank you, Greyson," Redd said with a smile. "I'm just glad that I could finally tell you."
Greyson returned the smile, and the two of them stood there for a few moments, simply holding hands and enjoying each other's company.
Redd knew that his feelings for Greyson wouldn't simply disappear, but he was content with the fact that he had finally been honest about them. And he was grateful that he had a friend like Greyson, someone who would always be there for him, no matter what.
