Practice Makes Perfect
The days leading up to the competition were intense.
Both The Jomies and Rock It spent every free moment practicing, tweaking their performances, and preparing for battle.
Chloe’s mansion had become their unofficial training ground, with each band taking turns in the underground soundproof rooms.
Sometimes, they could hear each other practicing, which only made them more competitive.
Jake found himself improving more than he expected. He’d always liked singing, but something about this competition made him push himself harder.
Drew, Liam, Henry, and Chica were all on the same wavelength, determined to make The Jomies shine.
Meanwhile, Rock It was just as intense. I
vy’s voice grew even stronger, Keith and Kain’s instrumentals became sharper, Stacy was like an angel's and Chloe’s drumming was nearly flawless.
By the end of the week, tensions between the two bands were growing.
"You guys are getting too good," Drew admitted after one of Rock It’s practices.
"So are you," Chloe shot back, crossing her arms.
"This is going to be insane," Daisy said, watching both groups with amusement.
With only one week left, it was time to bring everything together.
That meant choreography, outfits, and—most importantly—stage presence.
The Jomies’ Game Plan
- Jake would command the stage with his vocals.
- Drew and Chica would back him up with instrumentals.
- Henry and Liam would add their own energy to make the performance more dynamic.
Rock It’s Game Plan
- Ivy would own the spotlight with her powerful voice.
- Keith and Kain would synchronize their guitar and piano moments.
- Chloe’s drumming would set the tone for an explosive performance.
-The Stacy would come in with her singing.
"Alright," Chloe said after a long day of practice.
"We’re almost ready. One more week, and we take that stage."
Everyone nodded in agreement, but there was still one thing left to do—pick out their outfits.
Michelle, being the fashion expert, took charge.
"Listen up, people! We need to make sure both bands look amazing. The right outfits will give us an edge."
She pulled out her sketchbook, showing off designs for both groups.
The Jomies would have a sleek, modern rock look with matching colors, while Rock It would go for a more rebellious, punk-inspired aesthetic.
"Dang, Michelle," Henry said, impressed.
"You’re really good at this."
"I know," she said, flipping her hair dramatically.
With the final details coming together, the excitement was reaching new heights.
But none of them knew that the competition would have an unexpected twist.
The next morning, Chloe checked her email and gasped.
"The competition just got real," she announced.
"What happened?" Jake asked.
Chloe turned her phone around so they could all see.
A famous talent scout would be in the audience.
This wasn’t just about winning anymore.
It was a chance to be discovered.
