I am...so sorry.
I don't have a single ounce of motivation for this fanfic anymore. I've been moving out of the Genshin Impact fandom and into the Project SEKAI/Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! and Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven Official's Blessing fandoms. I haven't even touched the game ever since Lyney's banner, when my friend helped me farm and get him. One reason for that is because of the pretty toxic fans and shipping wars. I'm also not a big fan of having to skip through the quests every single GODDAMN time. (Petition for HoYoVerse to add a 'Skip Story' option, like SEGA did in Project SEKAI.)
I have the whole fanfic planned out; I promise. I just don't have the urge to write it all out. I'm not really strong in the series section either. My motivations for writing a series die out pretty quickly. So far, I only have a lot of motivation for a series I'm currently writing now (which is as of 15/Nov/2023) because it's my favoruite pairing in the fandom. As for Shenlan, it isn't my favourite pairing. My favourite pairing in Genshin Impact is actually Kaebedo. Shenlan isn't even in the top thirty.
Maybe one day I'll continue this fic. Maybe I won't. As I have said earlier, my interest in Genshin Impact is dying out, and my love for Project SEKAI and Tian Guan Ci Fu is only growing stronger.

Not very likely, since I've always felt so stressed, thinking about disappointing you all. It's just not a nice feeling, and it keeps me awake at night sometimes, thinking about when I'll get the motivation to update this fic.
So, this is probably the end of the road for this fanfic. Thank you all so much for the 100 kudos! This was one of my most popular fics for a while, and I really appreciated that you guys loved this fic!
