I feel the same guilty envy, when I’m standing here next you.
I look into your clear azure eyes,
You’re perfect.
I’m not half as good at anything
as I am when I’m doing it next you.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this
it wasn’t worth it.
I know this because the worst thing has happened,
the one thing I should’ve told you.
Through all of this I never had a drink,
