A day with gator man (part two)
The two of them stepped out of the elevator and walked back into the atrium. “Ya ready to go back to the daycare?”
Ottie shook her head, “Nah not yet, that was fun” Ottie held her hand out as they walked, noticing the increase in people. Monty looked down at her offered hand and took it, his hand massive compared to hers.
“Alright, then what do ya wanna do now?”
“I dunno”
“Of course you don’t.”
The two of them walked through the atrium, Monty’s tail swaying side to side as he walked. Ottie pointed up to the top floor of the atrium, “What’s that?”
Monty looked up to where she was pointing, the sign to Bonnie bowl, “the bowling alley? That’s more of Bonnie’s thing.”
She looked at him, “who’s Bonnie?”
Monty looked surprised for a moment, “wow you really don’t know anything about this place, do ya?” Ottie shook her head, “Bonnie’s part of the band. Blue rabbit, bowls and plays the bass, pretty much it.” Ottie gave another nod.
Ottie’s stomach rumbled and Monty chuckled, “ya hungry, kid?” She nodded. “Follow me, I know where to get some good snacks.”
She looked at him curiously, “you eat?”
Monty thought for a moment, “well…not really, but I can taste.”
The two of them walked some more and got into the elevator which took them to the main entrance. They stepped out of the elevator and walked into the cafe known as the “Faz-Pad”. The pair sat down at a table which was much too small for Monty. “Get whatever ya want, kid.”
Ottie thought for a moment, “what do they have?”
Monty pointed to the table, “Menu’s right there.”
She looked at him and blinked slowly, unamused, “I can’t read…”
The gator paused for a moment, “...oh right… Well, they have pretty standard cafe stuff, coffee, muffins, cakes…
Ottie hummed as she thought, then smirked “You said I can get anything?” Monty nodded.
A few minutes later, a bot, which looked sort of like a cleaner bot, came over to their table “What could I get you to eat and or drink on this faz-tastic day?” Monty rolled his eyes at the robotic sounding lines.
Ottie grinned and turned to the bot, "I want a strawberry muffin and three cups of coffee."
Monty opened his mouth to say something then shrugged "...not my problem…"
The bot turned to Monty and the gator shook his head. The bot turned around and rolled into the kitchen.
Eventually the bot brought out Ottie's order. She quickly dove into the muffin and finished it almost immediately.
Monty just looked at her, "damn kid…"
She moved onto her cups of coffee, quickly drinking all three within the span of five minutes. Monty just watched her, a little amazed, "uhh..are you sure that's the best thing to do…?"
She took the last drink of her last cup, "nope."
"...alright then…"
The two of them got up from their table and walked out of the cafe, not having to pay due to Monty being, well…Monty. As they walked out Ottie scrambled up Monty's back and sat atop his shoulders. He looked up at her, "again?" She just grinned and nodded. The two of them walked to the elevator and back to the atrium, well Monty walked.
"So, where to now- hey!" Monty looked up and saw Ottie with another grin on her face, now wearing his star glasses. They were way too big for her, but she managed to get them to rest on her face. "Yer a little shit, ya know that?"
She giggled, "I know."
Monty gave an amused huff “...as I was saying, where to now?”
Ottie thought for a moment, “hmmm is there ice cream here?”
Monty laughed, “Ice cream? You just had a muffin and three cups of coffee, now you want ice cream?”
Ottie nodded, “mhm!”
Monty shrugged, “alright then, the bowling alley it is then.”
The two of them made it to the ice cream parlor in Bonnie Bowl, Ottie still riding on Monty’s shoulders and wearing his glasses. Ottie ordered a vanilla ice cream cone, and the two of them waited for the bot behind the counter to catch up on orders and get her the ice cream.
The two of them were still waiting when they heard a voice. “Monty!” Ottie looked over and saw the blue rabbit walking towards them.
Monty also looked over, “Oh, hey Bon.”
“Surprised to see you, you never come up here” They bunny spoke normally, seeming to be unaffected by all the people staring at them.
Monty shrugged and gestured to Ottie, “The kid wanted ice cream.”
Bonnie looked up at the girl, “since when do you have a kid?”
Monty pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, “she ain't mine.”
Bonnie gave an amused snort, “Ok, let me rephrase that, since when do you babysit a kid? I thought you didn’t like kids?”
“I don’t”
“Oh? Is that why you’re letting her wear your glasses?” Bonnie teased with a grin.
The bot handed Ottie her ice cream and she happily took it.
“Oh, look at that, the kid got her ice cream, looks like it’s time to go.”
Bonnie laughed and gave him a small pat on the back, “alright, see ya at the show” Monty gave an acknowledging nod and Bonnie turned and disappeared behind his curtain.
The two of them started back to the elevator, Monty looked up at Ottie, who was happily eating her ice cream. “Ya better not get any of that on me, kid.”
“I won't, I promise!”
The two of them made their way back to the atrium yet again. They had just made it out of the elevator when Ottie got snatched off of Monty’s shoulders from above. She gave a small squeal and looked behind her and smiled “Moon?! You found me!?”
Moon booped her on the nose and she giggled, “yes I did” He then turned to Monty, “Why do you keep stealing my children, gator?”
“First of all, it’s only one child. Second of all, she came to me.”
Moon sighed and shook his head, “you couldn’t return her?”
Monty shrugged, “I was bored, and she wanted something to do, it was a win win”
Moon gave another sigh, “don’t you have a show to get ready for?” He asked as he took the glasses off of Ottie and handed them to the gator, earning a small pout from the girl.
Monty’s eyes widened slightly, “oh shit, yeah yer right” Monty turned and started to walk to the stairs. He paused for a moment and turned back to Moon, “oh yeah, by the way, the kid had three cups of coffee so… have fun with that” after that he turned back and quickly went away.
Moon looked down at Ottie, “you what?!”
She grinned and held out her ice cream, “And I’ve got ice cream.”
He gave a small laugh and shook his head, “You’re more trouble than you look, you know that?" He started to walk to the elevator with Ottie in his arms. “And you better finish that before we get back to the daycare.”
